Where is the Sound ini?

I have checked the both knowledge areas but is the sound ini  file in the flight data cat? Can't remember

soundlist.ini is the the FlightData cat. after extraction, it goes in the mod folder's /Flight folder. :)

Thanks Wrench, its coming back to me. Just installed the 2 viper mods and the super F15 pack.

You can edit the sound to an aircraft in the aircraft's .ini but I think that's only for engine, gears and flaps

SF2 has a different system than SF1.. I think. Long time since I played SF1

I do, too.   The SF1 system in this case is not too different from SF2. You were correctly told that you need to extract the SOUNDLIST.ini from the the FlightData cat. After extraction, it will appear in your Flight folder.  If you don’t use the SFP1E Extract utility (it can be downloaded here in the SF1 Download section), then just drop this file into your Flight folder.

Also, in the DATA.ini of each aircraft there are basic sound settings. Something like that:

AirbrakesSoundName=Airbrakes

The F15 pack has its own sounds though. Thats why I needed the ini file to put the ini lines in for the pack.
