Found a free file on the internet for the Spitfire Mk. XVIe buble top if anyone wants a crack at it.

why would another need to be built, when it's a 3W bird?? With bubble top and clipped wings, no less?

that effort could (should) be used to build replacement aircraft that have aged out (read: look terrible, have major flaws, etc) or are not longer "available" to the general user (tm)

At the risk of being totally wrong, you're showing a XIV Kevin, I think he's asking about a XVI, the XVI uses a Merlin engine, so no "bulges" on the engine area, also the XVI uses a different more pointy tail. What I don't know cause I don't fly props often, is that we have a XVI or not.

That's exactly what I'm refering to. And yes, we do have an "early" Mk. XVI with the rised back or "razorback".

For me, the bubble top Mk.XVI is the most beautifull of the bunch.
