@cood posted this to the ticket support system, I have no idea what it means. Can someone help me understand?

Quote

Minerva and the team agreed the subscription piece needed for download would be 1 month, not 6 as you are demanding.  I hope this is a mistake and not.  .  .

Thank you.

Guess, you can use Paypal to donate to the website and help keep it running.

But you can not use Paypal to pay for ODS 30 AE - as this is a free mod. One of the benefits of being supporters of CA is access to said mod. :good:

I would recommend membership fees for this magnificent addition alone. I don't think  It's t too much to ask for financial support for the upkeep of this amazing site and all it's magnificent downloads .You also get access to an amazing  support network of super skilled modders.

No idea how we are supposed to help you. The problem you are having is related to your internet connection, most likely you have a limit to your bandwidth or more generally poor connection.

I can help diagnose your connection, though what Menrva said may be true, you may have to contact your provider to get complete assistance.

When I look at your ip from our headend it appears to be a stable connection from us to you:

--- your.ip.address.masked ping statistics ---
43 packets transmitted, 43 received, 0% packet loss, time 42164ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 18.619/50.367/122.327/29.530 ms

I could not complete a traceroute back to you because of security protocols set by your provider for inbound traffic, this is normal.

Please provide me with a traceroute back to us. To do this type: Win+X keys then select Windows PowerShell or Command you should get a blue or black window that opens up. At the command prompt type the following: tracert combatace.com + [Enter] then paste the results here.

Thanks

This is Chicago to Chicago traffic with two hops on Telia local between us. You might as well be sitting on our front porch if you're that close to us physically. There's no reason you'd be having issues with that kind of hop time. The two routers at positions 3 and 9 aren't seen because they are primary routers not answering to ICMP overhead.

Here's what I'd try first: Restart your modem and any switches or WiFi devices, then restart your machine. Once you've done that test again if the problem persists call your tech support and see if you can get to someone who can look at your connectivity and modem settings to determine there's no service level issues. If the problem persists can you try a different machine or device? Let me know the outcome.

Hi Erik,

Thanks a lot for your message. I did everything that you had told me; however, the issue is still there. I have never encountered such an issue. One of my friends also does have the same issue.  Thanks a lot.

Installation seemed to go ok.

But programs crashes in loading screen at about 80%.

I can't figure out why the F-117 TV display does not seem to work for night missions. All I get is a blank screen. I do understand I have to the the LGB selected as my weapon. On day missions I get a display.

I do realize the SF2 has some avionics limitations but I thought this was a valid question. I will do some research on prior versions of the F-117 I have. I thought the TV/FLIR display worked differently on those versions?

Hi Doctor,

Sorry, been busy...I saw your post. So sorry about the TV Scope... Try this...

In the "\Objects\Aircraft\F-117A\F-117A_COCKPIT.INI" file, find this section and add the last line...let me know...

...

[IRADS_Screen]
Type=TV_SCOPE
NodeName=IRADS_Screen
MovementType=LIGHT

It doesn't fix the issue because it's unrelated to cockpit data. This issue is a consequence of the environment mod which makes nights darker. The stock game does not feature truly working IR images. We'll discuss it at the development thread. See you there, Viper!

Downloaded and installed just fine! This mod is incredible! Thanks to everyone involved, whether it was a small contribution or a large one, I thank you all. Didn't last ;long on my first mission, ground support can be difficult when the targets are so small,(talking about ground troops) even against the sand back ground, they can be difficult to see. Not complaining either, hell of a lot of fun and a great challenge!

Thanks to you for the feedback! We're glad you like it.

The January release was kind of rushed, so that version is filled with bugs here and there. If all goes as planned, this August a much better package will be released!

I'm proud to announce the second official release of Operation Desert Storm: 30th Anniversary Edition, now reaching version 0.9.5.
Six months have passed since the first release (v0.9.0) of January 16th 2021, six months in which the development team did not rest, producing a wealth of tweaks, bug fixes and exclusive, brand new additions to this comprehensive package. Unwanted bugs found their way in the January release, due to time constraints and the team wanting to meet the deadline in time for the 30th anniversary of this historic operation. Now we offer a much more refined and expanded experience, with quality of life improvements and welcome bonuses. Be sure to read the massive (albeit summarized) change log (Operation Desert Storm: 30th Anniversary Edition - Early Access) to learn more about all of the efforts that went into this new release.

The package is free for download to all official Modders and Subscribers of the site. Those whose 2021 6-month subscription plans expired have been granted access to the package at no extra cost. Users who acquired the mod via a 1-month subscription plan will have to renew it for access to this brand new release. CombatACE.com admins thank you for your support towards the monthly costs of the site.
