Has anyone entertained the thought that the whole waiting on the company to upload was an April fool's joke?

I suspect the only thing that's a joke is 2Checkout's operations. That said, it is Easter Monday, a public holiday for some, so maybe I'm being harsh. I don't think OBD would make an April Fools around this. That would be in poor taste and Winder did seem pretty clear that he's done his bit already. An update would be nice though.

Meantime, back to iRacing.

As far as I can tell, 2Checkout is based in Georgia state, where Easter Monday ain't a holiday. That being said, I don't think OBD would make a joke out of it when there's so many people expectantly waiting.  Winder did say he'd keep us updated, so far obviously nothing but then maybe there's been nothing from 2C either.  Just hope this ain't get extended even longer somehow. Either way the delay it seems is entirely on 2C, whatever the reason might be.

Here's my theory. A joint strike task force headed by the DGSE with support from MI6 and the CIA confiscated the file. Years of surveillance and counter intelligence went into the planning of mimicking the 2Checkout site and making it look official. The file will be on sale next month in street side merchant kiosks in Pakistan for the low low price of 5000 Pakistani Rupees. I could be wrong and it's just a guess.

I'm sure Polovski and the entire team is just as "not happy" about this as you. I read somewhere they were planning an April 1, 2021 release and I know they worked really hard toward that goal. Sit tight gents and remember a watched pot never boils.

Cheers!

OBD isn't the reason you aren't flying it now.  Its all in 2Checkouts hands.   Hopefully tomorrow...

I know you know Ace....but somebody new to the forum may not.   Just didn't want any new folks to get the wrong impression of OBD.   Tone and all that can get lost sometimes in the nudge, nudge, wink, wink of things.   ;)

No offense intended to you at all my friend.

Guys,  just to let you know we are still waiting on 2checkout, the problem is with them. We have been constantly on the case.  Some progress has been made, but we are not quite there yet.

All the cars crashed, much like our hopes and dreams are being crashed by 2Checkout

Not the beta thread anymore thankfully!   I'd say WOFF: BHaH II knows how to make you feel like you are in a dogfight for your life!

Hellshade, I agree about the dogfights now, at least the few I've had so far.  Much more intense and harder to get an upper hand.

Here are a few screenshots from my DID Campaign pilot's morning sortie, an escort of five Breguets of ESC 218 down to attack the Hun lines south of Amiens.  On the return a kette of DR.1s tried to spoil the show.  My man, Captain Frederick Abbott of 65 Squadron, got to experience the new AI features firsthand when he wound up in a VERY protracted go-round with a particularly skilled air Hun.  The King's own did win the day, but it took a long time to do it.  Well done OBD, you've made an already challenging WWI combat flight sim even more so.  I love it!

Forming up 'B' Flight and heading across to the rendezvous point.  Check out that enhanced scenery with all settings max'd out in the workshop.

Each time Freddy thought he was about to get a shot on the Hun, the slippery fellow eluded him.

Round and round and round they went, a swirling fight all the way.

But in the end Abbott got a bead on his opponent; the twin Vickers barked and brought the affair to a close.

The Captain followed the DR.1 down where it was seen to crash into a line of trees.

Freddy makes a note of the location for his report, and climbs away to rejoin the rest of his crew for the return home.

A brilliant victory Lou!   As you say, the air war just got a whole lot deadlier and things people took for granted before about enemy pilots are likely to get them killed now.   Best not to be overconfident.    In one engagement, I was shot up rather quickly and spent 90% of the encounter diving and running for my life.   In another, I managed to outfly them, but I was lightly wounded and got no kill credit.   The gents on the other side have gotten quite serious about their business since BHaH II!

Here's a flight with some campaign stuff. Please excuse my out-of-practice fumbling for un-remembered keystroke combinations. Also, my joystick trigger was broken so I was trying to muscle-memory the spacebar on the fly. Those are pretty much my only excuses...

Also, Louvert is a moderator over here?!? *bes on best behavior, bes on best behavior*
