New Russian Stealth Fighter to be unveiled this month

Recommended Posts

Unveiling a new fighter, or a new PR campaign directed at the West? Where Russia falls short on technical acumen (the fantastic Su-27/30/34/35 series notwithstanding), they more than make up for it with flashy media releases that overstate their technical prowess and military strength. It's interesting this is happening now, after a tumultuous year of widespread civil unrest...

Seems to be the MiG LMFS prototype or mock up. The russians are working on this plane since a couple of years.

This plane could be seen as a confession, that the Su-57 is to expensive for a nation with mediocre economic power like Russia.

Su-22 was NATO Code Fitter, eastern nickname "Susi". Completly other plane.

If i have understood it correctly on next Tuesday we will learn more about the new russian bird.

Just for fun, someone suggested Boeing sold the data of the X-32 to Russia. I find it so amusing if only it were true. Indeed the front intake gives smiley X-32 vibes.

If i look to the available pictures i think what they show us is a "Maket", or to use the neglish term a mock up. Not more, not less. It is on the same level like the BAE Tempest, what the Tommies showed for a while.

The experience show us, that between Maket and the real plane can be a lot of differences.

Seems to be that someone has made this bird for SF2. The terrain looks like SF2E stock terrain.

Looks like this one might even be stealthy. Gonna be interesting to see when this is operational, considering the Su-57 has been around for over a decade and is still languishing in testing...

Well until NATO gives it a designation, I'm going to dub it the 'Fartbox'

Seeing some people suggest it looks very similar to an old Northrop design, the MRF-54E

Parece ser que alguien ha hecho este pájaro para SF2. El terreno parece terreno de valores SF2E.
