The plane will end like the TSR2. UK has not enough money for a complete developement. Which other nations would buy this plane? The Americans? Surely not. The Europeans? Since the UK left the EU surely not.

Sadly I think you are correct,  although I would like to see how well they overcome these complicated new technology.

Sweden and the Italians are in too. Saab, Bae and Fiat, while with the other Euro 6th Gen you have EADS/CASA and Dassault. Half the EF2000+the Gripen on one side, and the othe half of the Typhoon + Rafale on the other. Both should be viable. While at first sight i think it would be better if all 6 countries cooperated, i guess having 2 alternative models in case one doesn't work is not that bad.

Given that both Sweden and Italy are already involved...

At the time the Tempest will be ready for take off, Scotland will be an independent state. So England stands alone. Italy and Sweden will retreat from the project. They are to depending from the EU.

Money is no problem whatsoever, it's more of a lack of resource..................however considering England alone could probably muster that up anyway it will only be a political decision that cancels it. The program will be more about developing and retaining that skillset anyway.

I don't think it is that simple, but from what I've seen, the UK and the EU remain pretty close in defense issues, if anything the UK has been quite proactive since Brexit. While there is a bias towards European defense industries, and lately even more so, I don't think Brexit will affect it as much.
