The A-6 cockpit in your link is only a repaint. No readme file. No wonder that you have problems. There are a lot of neccessary file missing.

To get the A-6 running you need this download too:

Tomorrow more. Its to late now for explanations.

Okay. Lets go.

I hope you has already created a mod folder. If not, then create one. How to do, you find in the Knowledgebase in this forum.

In that folder you find the subfolder "objects"   -   Open it

Then you find in this folder the subfolder "Aircraft"  -  Open it

Then you find the subfolder "A-6E" - Open it

So it looks:

61e1af938f5df_A-6Step1.jpg.629b1a805af31891c831595fd0b48f10.jpg

Unpack the cockpitfiles of both links (this from your first post and of my first post) into this folder.

So the result should look:

61e1afe6a9643_A-6Step2.jpg.86fe505170216a1c5ed286ec574d3453.jpg

Double click on file A-6E and open it with Notepad Editor

You find following lines:

[AircraftData]
AircraftFullName=A-6E Intruder
AircraftShortName=A-6
AircraftDataFile=A-6E_data.ini
LoadoutFile=A-6E_loadout.ini
UserList=A-6E_UserList.ini

Now open file A-6A and look for the lines:

CockpitDataFile=A-6A_cockpit.ini
AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
AvionicsDataFilename=A-6A_avionics.ini

Copy this lines and past it into file A-6E

The result should looks so:

[AircraftData]
AircraftFullName=A-6E Intruder
AircraftShortName=A-6
AircraftDataFile=A-6E_data.ini
LoadoutFile=A-6E_loadout.ini
UserList=A-6E_UserList.ini
CockpitDataFile=A-6A_cockpit.ini
AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
AvionicsDataFilename=A-6A_avionics.ini

Make sure that you paste the lines at the correct place

Save the file. Start the game and it should run

Don't forget to make the main ini (A-6E.ini) read-only, otherwise the game engine (tm) will overwrite it, and revert the aircraft BACK to AI only control

      Hi Folks,
      Sorry for my late introduction. I've been on board here for a few years, but have only ever been a spectator.  I'd like to get actively involved as well and will put a couple mods here on the board.
      I have made a few modifications to F-14 (TW and TMF) cockpits, but specifically I am working on a graphical upgrade for the F/A-18 cockpit from Brain32. Especially on the DDI's
      My problem:
      Can someone help me redefine the textures for the ICP.
      For the F/A-18 A cockpit there is only one texture for the counters - DDI_Counter_1. I would like to have my own definition for the ICP. DDI_counter_3, because for the F/A-18C cockpit there are already two. (fuel)
      So that it looks in the end like this:

      The result till now is this:

      I make the whole Font as Glass Gauge. It's a free font it will match for the hud and DDi's but not for the ICP. (Like DCS F/A-18C)

      View File F-15C MSIP Cockpit Repaint
      This is a quick repaint of the existing F-15C cockpit released on F-15 Superpack Redux 2016. I believe it has already been repainted by Viper63 back a while, however a few artifacts lead to my decision to redo the color and give it a TW color tone.

      Hello everyone, has someone added a 3d element to an existing cockpit using the false pilot method ??? I want to make a modification to cockpit by putting elements and making them visible through the line "open cockpit = true", but I want to know the experience of some of you

      Sooooo since the last topic was kinda ded i decided to post again.
      Basically im editing the Su-35 cockpit  and i like the re texture ive been workin on

      But the HUD i really wanna change to the Modern Flanker cockpit HUD made for Marc's Sukhoi's (HUD pic below)
      sooo im asking on how to do it, since the HUD the 35 cockpit came in would look too old to put in a modern Fighter like the Su-35.
      Please help.. so i can finally release the Su-35 mod..
      sincerely

      Hello Ya'all
      Im editing the cockpit of the Su-37 mod so i can fit it in my WIP  Su-35 Flanker-E, ive only changed the textures for it for now and im looking on ways to change the HUD display from the one default in the cockpit to the one below

      tried to just delete the HUD folder in the cockpit folder and copy this HUD folder there and i thought thats just it since when i change the Revi sight on 109's i just change the tga file and edit the .ini soo might need help..
      tried looking into the old forum post "Cockpit tips" or something by Russok and didnt found much that helps with HUD's
