Question for community about MiG-19 updated ini (Flight model)

Hello everyone,

I have been looking through various MiG-19 series mods and I am still stuck with various MiG-19S data ini.  May I ask, which mod anyone recommend for MiG-19 flight model overhaul or have updated data.ini that updates the flight model? 

The flight model for MiG-15s and 17s are taken care of (Thank to KAW and Wing over Vietnam Expansion campaign mods).  I found the overhaul mods for SF2 MiG-21s and 23s.  It is MiG-19s that I am stuck for now.  To my surprise, the material for MiG-19 are rather very difficult to find, including the afterburner.  Fortunately, thank to DCS manual (MiG-19P) and MiG-19 series book, found some pictuures needed for afterburner effects.

I've often wondered the same, beside issues like short range and, well, engines catching fire, it would seem like if the real Farmer was as good as it is in game it would have been much more ubiquitous and popular, not that it wasn't in real life but not as much as MiG-17s and 21s. I guess it might have had, as both the 17 and 21, some issues with the control surfaces at higher speeds but I've never heard any of that

By the numbers written in the books, the MiG-19 had power and agility. It had guns, missiles, and a decent bubble canopy. It should have been the dominant fighter until the next generation F-15/F-16 fighters entered service.

North Vietnam was given access to the MiG-17, Chinese variants of the MiG-19 (not so explosive as the early Russian production versions), and various versions of the MiG-21. They preferred the MiG-21. Why? Because the MiG-19 was harder to maintain and the versions they had didn't support missiles until after the Vietnam War ended. With a relatively low number of aircraft available, the VPAF preferred high speed hit and run tactics with missiles. The MiG-21 was the perfect fit for their preferred tactics. It was certainly faster than the MiG-19 and the later MF version was even a bit more powerful than the MiG-19. Apparently, the MiG-19 was also more challenging to maintain. The MiG-21's single engine was more reliable as well as easier to maintain. Sometimes, brochure performance data doesn't quite tell the whole story.

      * Q: How to enable Cockpit Shadows?
      - A: All you need to do is to make a .INI file with the same name and right at the place your chosen plane cockpit 3D file ( .LOD ) is located.
      Example: 
      !! [  Cockpit file are located at the folder with the same name (most of the times)  ] !!
      SHO to Viper team F-16 BLK 30 to act like a test plane 

      here the plane's Cockpit 3D model is the LOD file named " Cockpit_F-16C_B30.LOD " and above of that, our personally made .INI file;
      Now
      Inside the .INI file we should drop this :
       
      [Shadow]
      CastShadow=TRUE
      ShadowCastDist=5000
      MaxVisibleDistance=800 
      -------------------------------------------------
      * you are free to change the numbers  
      -------------------------------------------------
       
      here's an example file which you have to change it's name to the plane's cockpit file name !
      plane's cockpit file name.INI
       
      *with this simple trick you can enable shadows for every .LOD file.

      Hey, it's me again! Thanks to Bazillius I was able to solve the HUD problem. Now, I have another problem: the canards of the J-10 are rotating in the wrong direction. This means, when they have to rotate in the pitch-up direction, they rotate as pitch-down. I had this problem in a couple planes, but since this is the first one I'm going to publish, I want it to be perfect. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, it would be very appreciated.       Good evening everyone,
      Since I am working on a big collection of different MiG-15s and MiG-17s for different nations.  I found MiG-17 realistic flight model tweak which limits the maneuverability of the MiG-17s at high subsonic speeds, especially above .8M.  According to them,  I have to look at CLa= and Cmq= tables for the stabs at values .8M and above. 

      This part still confuses me.  So I am asking for someone to point me at where to look at.  That way, I can understand which codes to tweak for another MiG-15 and 17 that still doesn't have the maneuverability limitation at subsonic speeds.
