Utilizing Ravenclaw_007 and teams latest F-4E pack to create the Israeli Airforce specific F-4E variants used in the 1973 Yom Kippur war. There were three separate deliveries prior to the war and due to the variations of the Blocks all sorts of different configurations of ECM antenna, strike camera, slats/ flaps, 'slime' lights,  MIDAS4 etc not to mention local upgrades of 'slime' lights, MIDAS4 muzzle mods and slat instillations. Now throw in the Operation Nickle Grass emergency aid aircraft during the war! I have rounded them all up into 3 in-game varients:

- F-4E Kurnass

- F-4E Kurnass Hard-Wing & MIDAS4

- F-4E Kurnass (73)

So far I've only been able to find 1 photo that actually shows a Shrike being carried during the war although they were commonly used,  normal standard load out of 1 Shrike on each inboard pylon + 2 wing tanks & 2 Sparrows in the rear wells.

Mk 80 Rockeye appears to be after Yom Kippur from what I'm seeing.

I'll keep digging m8.

Thanks mate here is the page from the section from the book that mentions the Rockeyes:

"The end of the War of Attrition on 7 August 1970 enabled the IDF/AF to expand its Kurnass force, and No 119 Sqn formally became the third unit to operate the type at Tel Nof on 29 October. New tactics and weapons were introduced to counter the Egyptian air defence challenge, including the AGM-45 Shrike anti-radiation missile (ARM) and the Mk 20 Rockeye II cluster bomb unit (CBU). "

Anyone know if the AIM-7 used by the Kurnass in 1973 was the standard E model or the E-2 model? The stock TW loadout.ini has the AIM-7E-2 but the stock Yom Kippur campaign has the AIM-7E listed for the F-4E Kurnass squadrons. Google hasn't helped me thus far....

Even though my SF2 projects are halted for now, I still support the fellower modders when I can.  For my limited free time, here is what I have found so far.

I want to share some information I found about IAF / IDF Phantoms:

It turns out that the earliest AAM they received are AIM-9D and AIM-7C and here is the source:

2.2:

- Minor data/loadout.ini corrections.

- Minor texture corrections.

- Minor weapon corrections.

- Optional white texture for the Python 3 missile, as this was how the early models used in the 1982 Lebanon War were painted.

2.3:

- New AGM-78D model (thanks ravenclaw_007!!!) Data/ loadout/ campaign ini adjusted accordingly.

* (Kurnass 78 & 2000 will now use AGM-78D but AGM-78D Egrof Sagol is still included for use by Israeli F-16D as it is a rail launched version. The standard AGM-78D will drop and then fire but still use the ARM rail correctly on the Kurnass 78 & 2000

- Texture corrections for F-4E Kurnass 78 & F-4E Kurnass 2000 drop tanks.
