Walter es muy bueno tener gente trabajando en proyectos sobre este simulador después de tantos años , uno así empieza un día y luego con el tiempo se perfecciona, consejo no se metan en muchos proyectos al mismo tiempo.

well, as a guy in a movie once said, its a small operation, but theres potential for aggresive expansion! still was impressed. pulling off of external into the system still took same amount around an hour or so on the same system. so 14 minutes was a lil impressive to me at least now back to comparing stock ish aircraft, already in progess

No this is unnecessary. The can be launched vertically without problem.
  32. 1 point
I think the critical values for the vertical launch are seeker FOV and seeker gimbal limit. There are already two available SF2 versions for SA-15, the one posted by Farid and the one included in SF2 SAM pack. I have tested long time ago the SAM pack version and if I remember coorect, the missile's launch was the standard one. Drop me a pm if interested in some testing.

Ask AngelP, he know a lot about ship data and SAMs as well, I'm sure he will be able to help.
  34. 1 point
There is another possibility, to put missile on the fiction rail somewhere above the launcher, and show it on data file like “invisible” before the launch. In this case it will work more realistic:))))))

There is TOR system mod for SF1, and also S-300 mod for both SF1 nd SF-2. You can study their data files. The trik is simple: you put the missile to the appropriate place of the launcher in normal horisontal position, and then define in data file its minimum and maximum angle as 90 degrees (or -90). The problem is in real life missiles of this systems, after the launch make sharp turn toward the selected target and, as i know, this is impossible to be realised with the existing thirdwire engine:(

potentially ignorant comment but.... i think there is either ships that feature vertical launch systems or at least some threads in the early days of hte SF2 records that talk about them if possible on a ship, dont know why it wouldnt be possible on a mobile sam

I hear you, but 90Gb isn't that bad really but so far I've been able to score 2TB HDD for 60 bucks, so it's not great but it's good enough.

View File YAK-130 Skin Pack part 1 by UllyB May 21 2021 YAK-130 skin pack - PART 1 Not having all the skins ready for the pack, I decided to release now a first part (the skins that are ready) and a second part after finishing and polishing the rest of them. This way everybody will be happy. As I announced in the YAK-130 thread (https://combatace.com/forums/topic/95928-yak-130/?page=3) I also made custom skins for YAK-130 Talisman ECM pod to match the skin colors, so I included the original skins which were available when the plane was released, too.The new skins are 2 for Myanmar, one for Bangladesh and 3 for the Russia.(Black, Blau, VFM_Camo) INSTALL: Unzip and copy the OBJECTS into your main SF2XXXX folder. You will need aircraft ini, dataini and loadout ini files in order to match colors for Talisman ECM pods for each skin.I icluded them also in each aircraft folder to make things easier. You will notice that in aircraft ini files , where is more then one skin, I divided the the periods of time an aircraft is active for demo purposes. If you are not happy with them you can change them to your discretion to suit your needs afterwards. Don't forget to add into your WeaponData.ini the data from Add_to_WeaponDataIni.txt file. CREDITS Myanmar skins - UllyB Belarus skin - Bazillius Bangladesh skin - Compufat Algerian, Syrian, VVS_Camo, Irkut, VVS, VFM_Camo skins - original made by AngelP and custom modified by UllyB. Russian Black and Blau skins - UllyB Talisman ECM pod - original skin made by AngelP All Talisman ECM pod modified skins to match aircraft skin colors - UllyB Aircraft ini, dataini and loadout.ini files tweaked by UllyB Skin Decals - AngelP, Compufat, Bazillius & UllyB Additional decals - UllyB COPYRIGHT THIS MODE IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE . You can use this product or parts of it in your future projects only with my consent if more than 30% of the original release is affected by your work . Also you must give proper credits to the ones who contributed in making it, in case I will allow it to be used by third parties as such. This package may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware addition. Under no circumstances may these files be sold or uploaded to a payware site or any kind of illegal warez site. UPDATE I apologize, I forgot to add the decals. Now I corrected it. Submitter UllyB Submitted 05/21/2021 Category Other
