Is it possible that these were dumbed down for the AI not to crash them? The stock F-104 FM is incredibly more forgiving than the modded ones, and still they go stupid sometimes. One of the things that frustrate me the most is how sometimes we get AI F-100s fly like they are in a MiG-17s against...MiG-17s, turning and dumping speed until they are sitting ducks.

I pieced this together. Not sure about how to compare fuel consumption in the data I found to the listing in the data file. After the Falklands war the British government and military chiefs had a re-think, much to the annoyance of the Royal Navy....the ageing Vulcan was given a reprieve and a massive upgrade programme was started.......... To be continued.........

Not quite this day in history, but more like the history we're living through right now. Kabul Airport, August 2021, and the Afghan population storm the tarmac to try to flee from the Taliban who are taking back the country. US troops try to secure the airport to allow flights to arrive, load and leave safely...

I found the project formidable. I'm even practicing here to create my models and share with you. SF2 does not run right on my PC. But SF1 runs perfectly. I've been looking for this aircraft for SF1 for about three years to be able to fly with it on WOE. Do you know what I'm going to do? I will not pray to anyone. I will learn to make my own models and share them with you and whoever needs them. Thank you for your help.

On this date, 27 July 1972, the McDonnell Douglas F-15A Eagle (Serial Number 71-0280) took to the air for the first time over the desert at Edwards AFB, California. (As a side note: today is also my wedding anniversary) 46 years later, with thousands of sorties flown, only 4 have been lost to enemy action and it's air to air combat record is over 100 to ZERO, the best of ANY combat aircraft in history!

30 April 1959, Convair B-36J-1-CF Peacemaker, serial number 52-2220, landing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. The very last flight ever made by one of the giant Cold War-era bombers.
