SLUFs of grey. Simple skin pack with a few sets of skins for US Navy A-7E Corsair II. This mod covers late years of use. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2 Series. I highly recommend creating a new aircraft - for example A-7E_83. I have added a data file that will add a new pilot and new SJU seat along with HUD inside the cockpit. Just an eye candy thing. At the end of 1982, Navy SLUFs started to receive new seats and some minor upgrades in avionics. A-7E_83_Data will add a new pilot, new seat, make openable canopy and foldable wings. Adds landing light and removes Fuel tanks model objects from stations 2 and 7. As A-7 can not carry fuel tanks there. (you can use this remove_mod from a file on older Corairs also) The rest of the data file is basically stock one. So still no proper loadouts, rails for Shrikes / HARMs etc. If there will be demand I can upload new highly modified ini files at some point in the future/near future. Skins cover the years 1983-1991 for the Atlantic and Pacific Fleet. Decal set for 'Desert Shiled' VA-46 and VA-72 is slightly different than in the ODS-30AE pack. (it is downgraded so I recommend not messing with this - mixing with original ODS) Pack contains skins and decals. I have included also decals from the previous pack for hi-viz SLUF. So perhaps you can skip this folder but to be sure you can simply overwrite it. I believe there are two more serial numbers for VA-81 /1986. Skins sets are made in pairs - two squadrons for CVW for a specific year. Skin-set for 1986 VA-82 has one small 'bug' In 1986 they were painting bird flying through A in AJ tail code. But I could not find a clear photo of it. So I decided to go without a bird. This is subject to possible updates of the pack in the future. I could not find all proper BuNo / Modex but I am considering this as ongoing work in progress, so one day if I will learn something new there will be an update. Also, not all squadrons have CAG markings, sometimes i could not find info on markings...so I left it, again there might be an update if new info appears. I believe that pack after unp[backing is around 1GB. So make some space for SLUF. All skins, new bump maps, specular and decals are made by me. report bugs. enjoy. Jarek Hereda. P.S. This is huge, a lot of copy-paste for me, all decals.ini, textur.ini, etc...So if you will find that one decal is not showing up or something...just check first - maybe there is some bug in *.ini file. No need to panic! Fix, post solution, etc... So others can benefit from your fix. I put a lot of effort and time, checked everything twice..still gremlins can appear. QUICK FIX! I just uploaded an additional seat called - seat_SJU-8. This is the proper seat that is required by optional data.ini. ************************************************************* This is freeware; it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. 2 pointsI was thinking of making a stationary model with two soldiers, something like what is shown in this photo. With the back doors open. As well as making their older version of an M109 with the short gun barrel

1 pointDo you realize that we are on SF2 and no longer on SF1 which was last patched in 2008, thus having less features than SF2? Just because a very old topic says the RWR needs to be negative doesn't mean that what was said there is right. In this case, it absolutely is not. This is the most accurate info on how RCS works in SF2: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/94959-lets-talk-basercsmodifier/ The RWR.lst in EricJ's Super Hornet is outdated, the most complete one is included in the F-22A Raptor add-on and in ODS 30AE, it was compiled by guuruu. But you're free to use outdated stuff, no problem with that. What angers me is seeing people pointing fingers to issues that do not exist in what I release, that is truly not funny. The RWR works in the Raptor I released, all stock aircraft from SF2 are shown clearly by the RWR as far as I'm concerned. I already told twice that the issue is on third-party aircraft, either having a wrong RadarFamilyName or missing it entirely. So, as for the connection between RWR and RCS, there is none. But since it seems I speak a foreign language, I'll let others waste their time on explaining what I already explained.

1 pointDuring the Easter Offensive when the NVA crossed the DMZ and was heading south, they had ZSU-23-4 Shilkas SPAAG and SA-7 Grail shoulder launched SAMs. They had limited quantities, so everything they had was deployed to the front lines to the south. The ZSU-23-4 is what rendered slow movers like the A-1 Skyraider useless. UH-1s would get chewed up, too. ZSU-23-4 wouldn't have helped up north. The US had learned how to almost completely shut down the SA-2 sites with jamming and chaff corridors, so tactical aircraft flew at 15,000 ft, released weapons at 10,000 ft, and were not supposed to go lower than 8,500 ft. The ZU-23 AAA was worthless at those altitudes and it would have been at the limits of the ZSU-23-4. The heavier AAA wasn't particularly effective either as the radar for those was jammed, too. Having a large number of modern resources available, May 10, 1972 looks a little different than it did to me 20 years ago. One interesting aspect is that many pilots who thought they were hit by SAMs and AAA were probably hit by Atolls, including Duke Cunningham. The reason so many MiGs went up in the air on May 10 is because North Vietnam could see new US tactics and equipment were defeating their SAMs and AAA. The MiG-17s got stomped that day because GCI was also being jammed. If the VPAF records are accurate, the MiG-21s more or less traded one-for-one. Of the 3 MiG-21s claimed by Oyster Flight (Major Lodge and then Capt Ritchie), one flew home and the other was a MiG-19. So the US account of MiG-21 losses needs to be lowered by 2. Add two kills for MiG-21s against Navy F-4s and that pretty much evens the score aside from the MiG-17 turkey shoot including 3 by Cunningham. The MiG-19s were potentially their best aircraft for close in dogfighting, yet in all the confusion, they only got Major Lodge and lost one to his Oyster flight. Sneaking up from behind with an Atoll and veering off without ever being seen was the winning tactic, including that day.

SF2 A-10A (TW Stock Version) with Authentic ODS Livery and Serials By Viper63a This pack contains all A-10As serving in Operation Desert Storm with authentic serial numbers. Nose art and other details are my best effort, so it may be off - but it's damn close. When we started the ODS 30 project, we wanted to use the stock A-10A Thunderbolts. As I finished the stock A-10A, we decided to switch to Spectre's A-10As...So, the stock A-10A mod was scrapped. Alot of work into this stock version, so I decided to release it as is... ~~DO NOT INSTALL THIS MOD INTO ODS 3.0. THAT PACKAGE COMES WITH A VERSION OF A-10A DESIGNED AND CONFIGURED FOR THE ODS PACKAGE! Source: https://www.dstorm.eu/pages/en/usa/a-10.html --------------------- Installation... --------------------- 1) Copy the contents of the "To_Mod_Folder" folder into your mod folder and over-write if required. 2) Update your "...\Flight\SOUNDLIST.INI" with the contents of the "Add A-10 SoundList.txt". Please don't forget to maintain the number sequence in the sound list. 3) Check, ensure (or update) all the squadrons in this pack is in your "SQUADRONLIST.INI" file. Once you look at that file, you will know what to do. * Please note that some squadrons have multiple CO planes, this is not a mistake. Rather than just picking one CO, I am representing all the COs for that squadron during the period. I may be off on this, so let me know if I have to correct something. Thanks and Enjoy! =Viper63a= Edit: Fixed some typos in the details and this pop back up to the top...Sorry about that...nothing new...just a typo fix..LOL... -
1 pointAIM-9 project - next point: the "reduced smoke" motor. One probably reads about that when reading/finding info (old books, lists with AIM-9 variants) in connection to the AIM-9E-2. Its true, but it is only the tip of the iceberg :D And it was not in use in the late 60s. The new motor has a new grain which burns cleaner, producing less smoke. Theres more to it, the motor also has more thrust and gives the missile a higher impulse. Production of the new SR116-HP-1 motor started in 1978, with first deliveries 1979/80. While thrust per second is slightly increased over the old Mk17 motor, the burn time is 3.2 seconds versus 2.2 seconds of the Mk17. The new motor is used with variants of the 9B/E/J/N/P series. The combination of motor and fuse define the AIM-9 variant in combination with the Letter-specific Guidance and Control Section (GCU), the basic variants have no dash-suffix (e.g AIM-9J = basic J variant) Variant = motor + fuze 9J = Mk17 + Mk303 9J-1 = Mk17 + DSU-21 9J-2 = SR116 + Mk303 9J-3 = SR116 + DSU-21 This matrix applies to all B/E/J/N/P variants, the 9P has two more: 9P-4 = SR-116 + DSU-21 9P-5 = SR116 + DSU-21 Fuses: the Mk303 is the original IR influence fuse, the DSU-21 the new optical/laser fuse available from ~1979. Thus the -2 and -3 are generally the best variants, with the 9P-4/P-5 which have all-aspect capability having a further improvement.Of all the variants mentioned above only the 9P-4 and 9P-5 seeker can be slaved to the radar. For all other variants it is required to point the seeker directly at the target to obtain a lock-on. To be continued.. EDIT

The MiG-21BisD (the D stands for "Doraden" = revised/upgraded) is an upgraded version of the MiG-21Bis that serves in the Croatian air force since 2003. The first upgrade was done by Romanian firm Aerostar where the Fishbeds got their distinctive olive-green-grey camo and NATO compatible communication, navigation and F.O.F. systems. The second upgrade was done in 2014/2015 in Ukraine by Ukrspetsexport. The 12 (BisD and UMD) airframes were only refurbished and painted a light grey. These MiG-21s will be in active service until 2020 when they are to be replaced by a new 4th generation jet fighter (probably the Next Generation Gripen). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This mod is a tweaked version of 7elevens MiG-21 LanceR A with Russouk2004s Mig21 SM_MF CroAF skin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS Russouk2004: CroAF skin 7eleven: Original SF2 LanceR A mod - Crusader: Fuel tank - dtmdragon: LanceR SF2 update - Eagle 99: SF1 LanceR mod ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: You cannot use this file in any payware payware project, under the "COMBATACE FREEWARE LICENSING POLICY". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: 1.- unzip the file to a temporary folder 2.- move all the files from the temporary folder to their corresponding SF2 folders overwrite if asked that's it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special thanks to Russouk2004 for helping me on this project!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you like it and have fun with it!
