Tweaking a third environsys ini file too that will be devoted to fog effects across the different weather types (from morning mist to overcast fog) - no high clouds available in this one but the vertical cloud panels vary by weather type to give some variety...the fog also slightly varies by weather type (thickness, shape, etc.). Great for immersion in low-level dogfights, will include this with a ver. 9.5 of the FM pack - this will give us a total of 15 different weather types when combined with the tweaks included at the top of this list of posts. Happy flying, Von S

Republic F-84F Thunderstreak - 69 Sqd 'The Hammers', Israeli Air Force, 1967 The Armee de l'Air received its first F-84F Thunderstreaks in 1955 and it was in French service that the Thunderstreak saw its only actual combat during the Suez Crisis of October 1956. French Thunderstreaks from the 3rd Escadre moved to RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus whilst the 1st Escadre were deployed to the Israeli base at Lyddia where they supported the Israeli forces that invaded Sinai on October 29th. Despite seeing intensive action only one F-84F was lost and the tough and rugged aircraft so impressed the Israeli Air Force that they ordered 50 F-84F-70-RE aircraft before the end of 1956. The F-84F-70-RE featured the more powerful J65-W-7 rated at 7,800lbs thrust which helped with the initial climb rate and the combat ceiling and these were among the last Thunderstreak's to roll off the Farmingdale production line in the Summer of 1957. In 1962 the entire Israeli F-84F fleet was grounded due to the same corrosion of control rods that had affected the F-84F worldwide but they were soon restored to full operational capacity, eventually serving with distinction during the 1967 Six Day War and surviving in Israeli service until 1972 when stress corrosion eventually forced the retirement of the Israeli F-84F fleet. (I did release this one in SF2 but never did a backstory)

And example. I turned off HUD and used only radar. It was non-retarded 10kT WE-177A. Initial speed/alt were over 1Ma/1000 ft. LOFT angle over 35 deg and distance of drop around 5.5-6 NM. I should turn back earlier, but was watching bomb ;-) Accuracy for this method is far, far enought . And I feel bad .... it was friendly air base ...

Shenyang J-31 Falcon Hawk - Korean People's Army Air Force, 2019 I made a simple skin for this and used a toned down version of the roundel and fin flash. At the moment, I've no modern 'red' weapons in my SF1 install so it all looks a bit bare.

Just finished calibration for 2nd method. 30-40k feet, 1,5 and over Ma, retarded nuke. Ofc you must choose way of bombing before take off and load retarded or non-retarded WE-177 .

'in this method no need to lock...you just have to observe radar... needs practice but it really works...considering what we can do in this game and what we can't..

Nice work. I "borrowed" Stephen1918's excellent Hanriot files to temporarily get a test version of the Pfalz' younger brother working ingame.

That's Florian's skin. He rebuilt the model and skinned it. I can't get a single mission to work where they deploy yet. Not doing something right.

SF2 A-4B Skyhawk VA-95 Det Q Skin/Decals Pack 2/15/2018 = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) = *Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4B* A new skin for the A-4B Skyhawk. Also included, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the Mission tasking loadouts, Player operated manual canopy, and the landing light. The skin included is for: VA-95, Det.Q embarked aboard USS BENNINGTON (CVS-20) circa 1964/64, in the Western Pacific When in-game, on the skin selection dropdown panel, you'll see: VA-95 Det Q (CVS-20,1964) Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. Most markings are decals, excepting certain color tags or other markings on the rudder These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. There are 10 Modex and serial numbers (BuNums). All BuAerNums ARE historiclly correct; but not all could be matched to their corresponding Modex. Historically speaking, these A-4 squadrons (and/or detachments) were assigned to the Essex class carriers that had been convered to "CVS" or anti-submarine warfare carriers. The Skyhawks embarked were not only tasked with light strike, but Combat Air Patrols to protect the ship and the ASW assets. The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0. When in-game, on the skin selection dropdown panel, you'll see: VA-93 Det Q (CVS-20,1964) As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

View File Wing tip streamer ribbons for FE As requested, I have made five streamer ribbons for First Eagles. The streamers are identified as fuel tanks and can be attached to weapons stations through the load out. NOTE - Since these streamers are classed as weapons, they are not animated and do not cast shadows. Installation is a three part process - you will need to install the streamers as weapons in First Eagles - you will need to change the data.ini for each plane to create weapons stations for the streamers - you will need to create a load out for each plane to attach the streamers to the plane. Full installation instructions for both FE1 and FE2 are included with the download. Submitter Stephen1918 Submitted 02/16/2018 Category First Eagles - General Files - Weapons Mods

I agree, some ground targets moving around or even static on trenches or near the frontile would be a cool addition. And Yes, Romain Hugault is a great artist, and have a thing for colorful paintschemes lol Mandatory screenshot.

Superb detail! Even the trench rifles and mortars are accurate. I've always thought that FE/FE2 could use more strafing targets. Stuff like vehicles, guns, horses, grunts, etc marching through a sea of mud.
