The updates for the nose intakes are all done, reworked minor parts on the different versions. For comparison, the Su-17 early version and the Su-17M, you can see a smaller dorsal spine, 2 added wingfences and enlarged wingfences on the M, 4 more fuselage pylons Currently we are looking for a final solution for the larger front gear bay doors, on some pics, they remain open on ground, on other pics, they are closed.

I hadn't gotten into ARMA for years. Still does not match Operation Flashpoint but will do enough in a fix.

Pre-Purchase Persian Gulf Map for DCS World! Pre-Purchase the Persian Gulf Map now for $39.99 and save 20%! The price will increase to $49.99 at the end of May 2018. The Persian Gulf Map for DCS World focuses on the Strait of Hormuz, which is the strategic choke point between the oil-rich Persian Gulf and the rest of the world. Flanked by Iran to the North and western-supported UAE and Oman to the south, this has been one of the world’s most dangerous flash points for decades. It was the location of Operation Praying Mantis in 1988 in which the US Navy sank several Iranian naval vessels. The region also includes the vast Arabian Sea that is well-suited for combat aircraft carrier operations, and it will be an amazing area of operations for the upcoming Hornet and Tomcat. Be it from land bases in Iran, UAE and Oman, or from the deck of an aircraft carrier, the Persian Gulf Map offers a wide array of combat mission scenarios to prove your mettle. Key Features: 90,000 sq nm highly detailed map area that centers on the Strait of Hormuz. As part of DCS World 2.5, this map include highly detailed terrain, textures, seas, and buildings. 13 accurately created airbases in Iran, the UAE and Oman. Airbases include a variety of landing aids that can include TACAN, VASI lights, realistic approach lights, and VOR. Detailed cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bandar Abbas with unique buildings. "Strong Hold" islands such as Abu Musa, Siri, and the Tunb islands. Iran, the UAE and Oman will be added to the list of DCS World nations. Unique trees, bushes, grass and other vegetation using speedtree technology. Varied terrain from towering mountains and valleys to desert plains. New Iranian liveries Sincerely, The Eagle Dynamics Team

Coupi, if I wanted to be funny, I would say that we're pushing the modelling of this aircraft to the highest level of fidelity : almost done but only for display flights... As it's not funny at all, let's say that the status is "on hold" for now. Thanks for asking ! On va dire qu'il hiberne (hibernating) ; )

I grew up watching him on Mail Call. Rest in Peace, Gunny. You've been an inspiration to at least two generations of veterans, myself included.

Fun fact: When the recruit pulled the knife out. That was Ermey's real reaction. He didn't know the actor had a knife on him.

So far we have got up to the Su-22 passing by Su-17 early/Su-17/Su-17M/Su-17M2/Su-20; all have been thoroughly researched up to the info we can get is available, and we try to make as historical as possible the camos, weapon loads and detail level... As you were told, this is not DCS so you may feel the planes "simple", but we try to give you our best withe the tools we have, we just beg for patience ;)

The Su-15 "Flagon" was developed to replace the less capables Su-9/11 in the homeland interception duties, among the improvements were twin engines, side mounted intakes to replace the nose one. The plane was powered with 2 Tumanski R-11F2S-300 engines. The side intakes change allowed to mount the more powerful RP-22 Oryol-D (NATO 'Skip Spin') in the nose. The initial delta wing in this plane had poor take-off and landing characteristics, so, a later variant was developed. ******** The SF2 plane *********** The model used was made by Boopidoo who i thank for it, some ini edits were made by me. The AA-3 Missiles were tweaked by Snailman to make them less dumb, thanks to him too :D 2 High 4096x4096 res skins were made by me with a whole, new, more detailed template, available if requested, the first skin depicts some examples of the 57th IAP, 10th OA PVO, based in Norilsk, and the other belongs to the Red Falcons Aerobatic team of the 60´s, this ones never carried bort numbers, info collected by Loborojo, who also i thank for the it. This variant was never applied tactical camouflage and was kept natural metal, i wasn´t able to collect info about the stencils, so, if anyone has it and want to share i will update the planes and will credit him/her. This plane is made mainly for high speed interceptions, so if you ran out of missiles and got into troubles and don´t want to ram your objective (which sometimes the soviet pilots were instructed to do so), dive as low as you can and run for home, missiles weren´t too reliables at that time and a gun was loooong needed, so that will be corrected in the next variant. If i forget to mention anyone who worked in the plane, my apologies, just let me know and i will correct it. Hope you have fun with it. Enoc Marquez AKA Flogger23

Spiff, The A-6 didn't really have a CCIP pipper; this CCIP is an approximation of what is essentially DIANE's CCRP. However, the A-6B had the DIANE system removed in order to put in the additional RWR sensors in the nose. Hence, I removed the CCIP from the B due to DIANE's removal. As for the SF2NA decals, you can just remove the decal folders A6SP1976, and A6SP1981*. The A-6A/B just use the original A-6 decals and the decals in the A6SP folder.
