Here's my rework of the original SF2 F-35A from FastCargo's F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 pack. It includes USAF F-35A only, so there are no B/C or foreign operators versions (maybe I'll do them in the future). This pack was created and tested with full 5 merged install of SF2 with latest patch. My main objective was to make this aircraft more reallistic by reworking the skins (RAM coatings, panel lines etc.), loadouts and other minor .ini changes. The afterburner is changed to the Viper Burner by The Viper Team and the pilot is changed to the one with JHMCS. Following squadrons are included: 4th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 31st TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL 34th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 58th FS, 33d OG, Eglin AFB, FL 61st FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 62d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 63d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 422d TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL All aircraft numbers are real and come from this site: http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-35/serials-and-inventory/airforce/USAF/ The default loadouts are all-internal. Presets with external stores are also included to use with in-game mission editor. Most weapons come from Ravenclaw's Weapons Pack 2. Loadouts do not include external fuel tanks as they are not used in real life. Reworked skin template based on DoctorWho's template is included. It is suitable for F-35A only. Feel free to create new skins, give me credit when publishing. Installation: Firstly, if you are new to SF2, please head to The Knowledge base and read about Mod Folders and installing mods. It is highly recommended to delete your previous version of F-35A from your Aircraft folder. After doing this, copy all the content of "To Mods Folder" folder to your mod folder. Overwrite when asked. Im still working on the right shape, i need to push some polys around to close some tiny holes, but that is the current shape and level of detail. If you guys have anything to add inside the pit, bars, struts .. pls share the info with pictures here F-15A

Hello All, This project started in November 2015! I started to share this project with two other guys Logan4 and Heberth around March of 2016. And here we are... First I want to thank the following individuals: Logan4 for the 3ds Max issues and Florian for showing me the slimmer technique. I want to thank Mue for his valuable tool program for making this project easier. Of course, thanks to Marcelo for his Su-27 model (I believe it is a 2007 model) so it is a old model but still useful. I will get to the point... I wanted to finish this project by 2016. Will, as you can see, there is still plenty to do before it is consider finish. The reasons are the same - time, family, work, interest, and anything else you can think of. The model is old and has issues with its UVMap and so a lot of items need to be modify or change just to make it close to what I wanted. So, any issues you will eventually see... most likely I already know. Now due to time and interest, at this point, I just want to finish it. There are plenty of issues and errors in this Mod but I am OK with it. Example: the MAWS on the forward fuselage of the J-11A_Upgrade is in the wrong position and the size could be bigger. My mistake was making the fake pilot mod before I made the new template and try to fit it in the proper place. However, using the old template and the size of the aircraft model, the position is pretty close... it is just the way the model was made that made it hard to fit in the right place. Anothere was the J-11B_AL-31F's top shield for the HUD was deleted, it was meant to be this way. The initial J-11B was to have a new hud and cockpit with AL-31F engines. It turns out that the eventual first J-11B was with a Holographic HUD and AL-31F engines. I just included that model for fun. Another example: The right main inner wheel well is not UV unwrap, so you are going to see the lower right wing textures instead, I did try to locate it using the Mue's tool... it is not there. Another example: The way the model was UV unwrapped, there are plenty of areas where it will "bleed" into different shapes. What I meant by that is... if you place a line (as in a panel line or a rivet) you will not see the panel line or the rivet... what you will see is a stretch mark or a blended or distorted line or spots of color. So things like these is what you are going to see as errors. Basically - size, shape, position, etc. will be adjusted as needed to make it look ok or fit. Finishing up the panel lines, making the stencils, markings, and adjusting the aircraft, etc... Thanks to CombatAce for being here and for its continuing support of the community for FREE! I thank CA for all the wonderful toys we get to play with! Hopefully I will finish this thing... Cheers! Ace888

looks good! that's always been an issue with the SF/FE series -- the "alpha objects" have no material substance (well, actually neither do the "solid objects") in the TOD files. This one suspects they are holograms () I remember hitting trees in in IL2 - that was "interestering"

I would say it cannot be fixed without access to the model and some additional work on it. It seems to me as if TK planned to model flaps on the Su-9, but did not complete it. Checking the model with mue's viewer, the inner part of the wing is solid, the flap is not a separate piece and does not have an animation assigned. Apparently the flap is just painted, not modeled.

View File KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s USAF KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s This skin pack will feature skins for all USAF KC-135 users from the late 1980s. This includes the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Many of the skins serials and nose arts are the same as in ODS, which the aircraft would participate in a few years after this period. This also represents the era that the Shamu scheme became more common and that nose art made a comeback on USAF aircraft. Requirements: any version of Strike Fighters 2, and the KC-135 mod found here Installation: first, get the Mirage Factory C-135A/B and KC-135A/E/R 1.0 from the above link (if you dont have it already) then unzip this to the mod folder, allowing overwrites. Known Issues: this is meant as eye candy. unfortunately, SF2 doesn't support air to air refueling so the best to be done is set up a recon mission and then park it in an orbit. Also, Dels C-130 pit does not line up with the model very well. it is included mainly so that it can be player selected (i had to test it somehow). Loading more than 8 aircraft on a mission will produce irregularities (like only the front half of the camo showing). So far I have not seen more than 8 on a ramp, and it is doubtful you need to load more than that in one area for a mission. Just be warned if you throw all 16 in at once. BTW, this thing is big, coming in over 2 1/4 GB size So, Whats Included?: Skins with at least two examples from every USAF unit to fly the KC-135 during the late 80s, with separate skins for Active Duty and reserve forces Colors represented include ADC gray, and Shamu dark grey over medium grey. Shamu is added as tga for a mix within each skin Engines on the A models were adjusted to produce heavy smoke at max thrust. Burning water, just like the real thing. If anybody would like to test the FAA versions for me before I upload them please let me know...... I've also given the basic ( as in non clipped wings) version the same treatment.......just dont really have time to make new skins for them.......they've all been done so many times before anyway.

in fact, the radar isn't even really for "searching". GCI would vector you in, and get you within range (5-10 miles) THEN the pilot/rio could take over the intercept. Just like WW2

Please do not install it and expect this pack to work with the Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack because they are both F-15 packs... You can install this pack "As-Is" (but not over Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack, see above), but you need the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" pack to fully enjoy this pack. If you use it as a stand-alone, some weapons, effects or other things may\will be missing. You will have a flyable plane, but miss out on some bells and whistles. I recommend the full pack below. You can get the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" pack here... ------------------------------------------------------------- What is in this pack: ------------------------------------------------------------- 1) 4096x Skins in JPG format and decals for the 114th Oregon Air National Guard - as requested by JosefK! Enjoy! 2) Repainted Cockpits by Viper63a and RWR list by Spudknocker. 3) Updated Data and Loadout files from Spudknocker and Fanatic Modder. 4) 1920x1080 Hangar.jpg, Loading.jpg and Loadout.tga files. 5) Excellent new weapons and ejection seats from Ravenclaw_007! 6) Excellent Florian Pilot upgrades by JAT81500! ** Included Jets: F-15C From the 114th FS, 173rd Wing Oregon Air National Guard. Please note that the plane serial# are generic and randomized. ** Extras package contains: PSD Template and pix I used to make the plane. ------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: ------------------------------------------------------------- ** This is an "Add-On" for the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" Pack. I have not tested this pack as a stand-alone. It should fly and work, but you may be missing some weapons in your load-out, effects or other things. I recommend that you install the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" Pack first. At least the "Effects" and "Weapons" folders from the pack. >> WARNING! I have not tested this pack with Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack...Pretty sure there will be problems, so I do not recommend installing this pack over the Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack. If you want to test it out, rename the "F-15C_02" folder in your...Objects\Aircraft mod folder...if it exists. You can then install this pack. You may be missing some weapons or effects, but you should be able to test fly the plane. After you're done, you can rename the folders back or reconcile the folders to get this pack to work with Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack. !! First and always - BACKUP! If you have "F-15C_02" folder in your Mod folders...Objects\Aircraft and Decals folders...Make a copy or back it up before installing. ** To install, Copy the contents of the uncompressed "To_Mod_Folder" folder into your Saved Game mod folder. Overwrite any conflicts. ------------------------------------------------------------- Add F15 SoundList ------------------------------------------------------------- ** Lastly, this is optional but highly recommended. Read the "Add F15 SoundList.txt" readme file on adding the F-15 sound files included in this pack to your "Flight\SoundList.ini" file. ------------------------------------------------------------- Thats it - Enjoy!
