SPADS , HOBO'S & ZORRO'S Also known as the A-1/AD-6 Skyraider For the stock 3rd Wire SF2:V A-1H Skyraider Continuing on from my previous uploads and reworks of USN and USMC Skyraiders, I present to you, for your delectation, and enjoyment the next in my rework of our beloved mud moving , snarling, piston powered , and rather handsome USAF Versions , I have made 3 Camouflage versions of the Aircraft from the 1st SOS, 22nd SOS, and 602st SOS of the 56th Special Operations Wing . 22 SOS is in the Zorro scheme of Camo over Nite, I am aware that not all the aircraft in the Squadron were painted this way, however rather than making a split squadron, the whole load of 'em are nite unders, if ya don't like it....well tough !! 1 SOS is done in the more usual "day" scheme, but is very dirty drab and scratched up, whilst 602's airframes are reasonably clean ( for a skyraider) And a slightly lighter colour tone with the more usual Light Grey unders. I have tried to get the numbers and nose art matched up on the different squadrons airframes, and yes I am aware that some of the pilots flew on different squadrons and took their aircraft's name with them, so some of the ones I have portrayed, may appear with different tail codes etc, depending on your sources. I have pretty much reworked the camo schemes from scratch, and I hope that these beautiful aircraft meet your approval . Everything you need is in the package decals, sounds, pilots , weapons etc. etc. etc. also the Data.ini for the aircraft.........Be advised, you MUST use this Data.ini with these aircraft, firstly because I have enabled the Chaff dispensers, and secondly, it kills off the clipping issue that started me off on this project in the first instance................YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED AND WARNED!! That I think covers it, all the usual shout outs to Wrench and Nyghtfall for their Templates, which are instrumental in these 'ere skins And to anyone else who had anything to do with the original , aircraft, cockpits, and any other stuff that I have to be politically correct about . Please feel free to leave feedback ( it is much appreciated) also if you find any glitches that may have slipped by my (cough) quality control (cough) department, please give me a shout so I can attempt to fix it. Get out there, move some mud, scare the bejesus out of the baddies in Injun country, and above all ENJOY !!!

View File A-1J USN SPADS !!! A-1J Skyraiders of the US Navy Hi Rez skins To be used on the stock 3W SF2 A-1J Skyraiders Continuing my series of Skyraider skins, these ones are for late mark Spads, of the US Navy. Included are :- VA-25 "Fist of the Fleet" 2 different skins from 2 consecutive cruises the first on USS Coral Sea, and the secon on USS Midway VA-115 "Arabs" again 2 different skins, both on the same tour of duty on USS Kittyhawk, the second set are a rework of Wrench's original experimental camo scheme, again mine is not 100% accurate, but I think it conveys the general idea. Only 2 or 3 Airframes were actually painted in this scheme, but it was just easier to do all of the squadron in it, the scheme was an experiment, which was found to be non beneficial, and in fact a bit of a problem for deck crews whilst operating at night or in bad weather, so it was dropped , however it does look pretty cool, the aircraft had only very basic markings and I have tried to replicate this with these skins, the other set of "ARABS" are in the standard Grey/White scheme. VA-145 "Swordsmen" aboard USS Intrepid VA-152 "Friendlies" on the USS Oriskany and they were called the Friendlies at this time NOT the Black Aces, or the Fighting Aces, the Name is correct for the Time period, the Squadron I believe are now known as the Mavericks !! As with all my previous uploads, everything you need is in the package ( obviously you need the aircraft in the first place hahahaha ) Again I will give the Gypsies warning about the Data.ini, make sure you DO use it , or you WILL have clipping issues !!! I will also say, as mentioned my my friend Mr Wrench, these are not 100% completely new , shiny, you cant bend it, built from the ground up , skins, but rather total reworks of skins that are already available ( in most cases) Hopefully I have improved on previous and older ones, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed doing them for you all !! All the usual shout outs ( you know who you are !! ) As always ENJOY !!!! Submitter trotski00 Submitted 05/22/2019 Category A-1

The Il-78 tanker was developed and designed in the Ilyushin Aviation Complex in Russia. The main reason behind its development was an expansion of the transferable fuel load of an earlier version of tanker, the Il-76. The Il-78 has a total transferable fuel load of 85,720 kilograms (188,980 lb), which includes 28,000 kilograms (62,000 lb) from a pair of 18,230-litre (4,010 imp gal; 4,820 US gal) tanks in the freight hold. In comparison, the Il-76 has a capacity of only 10,000 kilograms (22,000 lb). I simultaneously made the jump for a 46 inch 1080p LCD tv from 2006 to a 49 inch 4K TV and received a new Oculus Rift S. Playing DCS World in 4K on a large screen TV is stunning. It looks good and I can visually track aircraft out to more realistic ranges. The Rift S makes a subtle but significant improvement in VR image quality without penalizing performance too much. I can now read all the labels and gauges in most aircraft as well as visually acquire and track small fighters.

Ive run missions with EA-6B doing the ESCORT_JAMMER missiontype .. didnt affect player A2A... dont know vs SAM yet. IIRC, the SF2NA Soviet aircraft with ESCORT_JAMMER as primary mission.. the dont have any internal jammers in the data (July 2013) Equipped a EA-6B with three strength 100 noise jammers - the thing was totally invisible on the F-4E radar

The MiG-21 has several issues. The most important to me is that after many years since the original release, the gunsight does not have the basic functionality that it should have. It should essentially behave like the P-51D's K-14 with the option to use manual range input or radar range input like the F-86. So the diamond circle should change size with the range input and the wingspan input like every other gunsight from that generation. If you have the range input and wingspan input correct, the diamond circle should match the wingspan of the target. It has none of that functionality and does't seem to compute lead very well either. The P-51D's K-14 probably works too well... I am able to use it to place rounds with near pinpoint accuracy if the target co-operates enough. The F-86 gunsight appears to function correctly, but the lead computation seems to be off compared to the accuracy I get with the K-14. The MiG-21bis' LCOS reticle is effectively useless, you can be more accurate just using the fixed reticle and judge the lead from experience. The MiG-21 generally looks as good or better than any other module... but it achieves those good looks inefficiently. It takes too much hard drive space and degrades frame rate performance, especially when other MiG-21s are flying nearby. But the other problem that has bothered me as much or more than the gunsight functionality is the dirty canopy. The globs of sealant around the periscope and the much splattered all over the glass resemble a museum bird that has been left out in the weather without maintenance for 10 to 20 years. The glare from the sun combined with all the dirt on the glass made dogfights very difficult for me. So, in response to questions/complaints about these problems, the company reps who post on the DCS forums are very hostile and defensive. They ultimately claim they are providing improved canopy visibility options, but also claim they don't have enough information to model the gunsight correctly. I have read the manual it spells out behavior damn near identical to the F-86 gunsight except for a few new features/options. Why is it that nearly every other DCS World aircraft has been able to get the gunsight working correctly, but not the MiG-21? I am a huge MiG-21 fan and was amazed by how complete it was for the initial release. But over the years, the MiG-21bis got a lot worse before it started getting better. Instead of fixing the MiG-21bis or releasing a contemporary opponent, Leatherneck releases a biplane.

Hi there!! Some photos of RAF Canopic, how is it going. Original article : Desert V. 4 population and targets add-on I added more air defence units. As the traditional AAA targeting is not suitable (units sometimes not appearing), I added them as ground object types. QUESTION: How do I make RAF aircrafts appear? There are always US birds parked. The airbase is under RAF command , so it would be suitable to find Her Majesty's airplanes parked.

Hi Community! You may (and must) know Piecemeal's Desert V.4. Well, I love it, soy I decided to add targets and make some minor modifications to air bases, target areas, etc.. So, here it goes my humble attempt. Please note this is just a try, there are things to polish, specially an annoying issue as regards AAA. The seem to appear randomly, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Piecemeal's original terrain can be found HERE Thanks Piecemeal!! I have worked with Mue's excellent Target Area Editor. I am posting this to know your opinion, and suggestions are more than welcomed! Y hope you like it This is RAF Canopic and Canopic city, Canopic UK Headquarters and Canopic Port

Eritrea/Ethiopia Terrain for SF2 = For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended) This terrain is a rebuild version of the 'beta - (minus)' uploaded by Wingwinner some years ago. It has been completly rebuilt, from the HFD up. This terrain also uses JSF_Aggie's Enhanced Desert tiles, with the tile set =GREATLY= expanded, with many new tiles, many tiles with minor & major corrections and repairs, and LOTS and LOTS of custom TODs. The area covered includes parts of Somilia, Djbouti, a little of eastern Yemen, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Sudan as far west as the Nile rivers (Blue & White) confluence at Khartoum. The 'addon' terrain objects have been kept to a minimum. Stock in-game items have been used in most cases, although some additional units may (or may not!) be required. Add-on GroundObjects, while heavily listed in the _Types.ini, have been kept to as small amount as possible. See "Notes" for what you might need. You've probably got most of them already. Some additions to several Userlists for both Stock 3W and 3rd Party add-ons (in particular for some SAM units) have been included, as several nations simply weren't listed. Limited Nations, Limited Missions and Operations years do NOT reflect the Real World ™. Eritrea did not exist until 1991; the map has the standard "all years spread". However, the various nations are listed in the Eritera_Nations.ini, but none of the Limitations are active. Geophysical Disclaimer: some rivers and other water features may not follow their Real Life ™ courses, or be placed in their Real Life ™ locations, or even exist as such. Several cities and other physical features may also fall into that classification (ie: mountains, hills, valleys, etc). Some cities may also NOT have all their proper Real Life ™ industries, facilities and other building classifications, or be fully loaded with 'target objects'. Accuracy has been strived for in all cases, to reflect the Real World ™. As much as is possible with this Engine. This map also makes use of the 'Expanded Borders' mod, wherein you make changes to the FlightEngine.ini. Instructions on making this adjustment are included (if you haven't already). Please note, that when unzipped, the terrain folder will be quite large (~350 megs) due to the size of the tiles -they're 1024x. Make sure you have enough space. As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended (ie: REQUIRED!!!) you read the document through after unzipping, before installing. As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading. It's most important that the legal disclaimer at the bottom be read and complied with. There has been a change in policy with regards to =ALL= my terrain mods. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein

This is total pack of MiG-21 used by Polish Air Force. Polish Fishbeds version F-13, PF, PFM, M, MF, bis and R. Pack is not including two seaters U, US and UM. Unfortunately. First of all this is huge pack due to skins and decals.. after unpakcing it is little above 1GB. Pack is using standard TW models and full merged instal is recomended. All skins are based on great templates by.comrad. http://combatace.com/files/file/14482-mig-21-mfsm-temps/ Ive made few changes to PF/PFM and F-13 models. INI files are borrowed from MiG-21 Complete pack by ataribaby - http://combatace.com/files/file/9488-mig-21-complete-pack-sf2-18/ FM is (i think) medium setings from Fubar512 settings. Cockpits and avionics are from Paladrian MiG-21 set All aircrafts have additional avionics and cockpit ini files for easy way (ccip etc) I have edited data ini files as follows: All aircrafts have nation set to Poland. All aircrafts have edited weaponstations by weight and diameter limits and specific station code. I've separated stations for irm, bombs, fuel tanks etc. So bombs do not apear on missile launchers, also ive corrected some weight limits. Ive added all weapons moded / required for this pack. Exept for: GP-9,PTB-800S MiG-21 Center pylon. although GP-9 have new skin. All Air to Air weapons are adited to work only with this pack. So not all weapons can be loaded. Ive set only those A2A weapons as used by Polish Air Force. R-13 Rockets can be fired only by MiG-21bis. R-3R can be carried only by MiG-21bis due to RP-22 radar. R-60 shouldn't be carried by F-13 but it makes mess with editing. so somehow its possible to load. As for air-ground weapons it uses standard weapons like OFABs, FABs, ZABs, UB-series rocket pods etc. Fake Pilot mod is required to have proper MiG-21R. (althought Polish R had periscopes on canopy instaled) New skin for GP-9 gun pod. for PF model. GP-9 for PFM model is separated and is loaded as gun pod. Node is part of aircraft. New PTB-490 fuel tank. PTB-800 fuel tank is like in other available packs - can be carried by some late Polish MiGs. MiG-21bis and MiG-21MF /96A00/ can carry SPS-141Je pod (as addon to ECM pod you can (should) load ASO-2I-E7P decoy dispenser - it is part of SPS in real) RS-2US is main "unfortunate" air to air weapon for all early models exept F-13 (it has no radar) and bis (it has RP-22 radar and can fire R-3R) Reco pod as same as in other pack available before - new skin for D type pod. All weapon loadout.ini files are much "what if" as Polish Air Force never operated MiG-21 in any coinflict. New PTB-490 and SPS-141Je are made by me. Models MiG-21F-13 /model-74/ - first delivered to Polish Air Force Fishbed. 25 delivered. MiG-21PF /model 76/ - 84 delivered between 1964-1966. MiG-21PFM /model-94A/ - 120 delivered between 1964-1969. MiG-21PFM (N) /model-94N/ - 12 delivered, capable of delivering special bomb. It was equipped with different center pylon allowing ot carry tactical nukes. later downgraded to PFM standard. MiG-21R /model-94R/ - 36 delivered between 1968-1972. MiG-21M /model-96/ - 36 delivered between 1968-1971. MiG-21MF /model-96A/ - 100 deliverd between 1971-1974. MiG-21MF /model-96A00/ - 20 delivered in 1995. Long history behind this aircrafts. In short - all aircrafts were supposed for different country with ongoing war...delivered to Poland small diferences in avionics - capable to carry SPS-141Je Siren electronic countermeasure station. MiG-21bis /model-75A/ - 72 delivered between 1980-1982. Only Fishbed with R-13 engine and RP-22 radar station. All skins are as jpg 2048x2048 format. With national markings painted. (different insignia for aircrafts up to 1993) and new one 1993 onward. All decals are made by me and are historicaly correct and matched to specific units and service year. Polish MiGs were transfered from unit to unit (sometiems only virtualy) so its is also big mess with serial numbers. Also somewhere in mid 80s it was allowed to pint squadron insignia on airframe. when aircraft was transfered to new unit it usualty retained old squadron insignia.. in 90s some aircrafts got insignia of 3 diferent units... Polish MiG were silver/grey and not much color here. Although few were wearing special paintjobs. And those are also included (few of them). During maintenace aicrafts received some paint using some different shades of grey...but here all are silver grey. Al Polish MiGs-21 when delivered were equipped with R-11 engine and RP-21 station exept MiG-21 bis model - equipped with R-13 engine and newer RP-22 radar station. Pack also uses: KV-1 seat by AmokFloo Weapons ravenclaw and others from CA. PBP-2-3S Monsun rack by logan4 MBD2 - bomb rack by Snailman. Pilots by TheTrooper. Repainted and renamed. SPO-3 pod for MiG-21R by Spillone104 All credits and hails to creator of reco pods! Also all credits to creators of other stuff that I forot to mention. Again all credits to you guys who made this game so good after years. Thanks for yours work, report bugs and missing files. Jarek Hereda.

Anatolia v1 (03/26/2011) for SF2 Series by PureBlue (Umut Destan) ------------------------------------------------------------------ This project has been in development for 3 years and is the fruit of long hours of research, design and implementation work. I've met great people along the way and they made many contributions to the project. I thank every one of them, my special appreciations go to, Steve "Swambast" who worked countless hours with me and developed STT (Swambast's Target Translator) which let me lay the foundation of this project; Stary, a great artist from Poland who is behind all the beautiful looks of the terrain; Dave and the CombatAce team for providing us the platform to meet and have fun. The project includes a large map covering Anatolia (Turkiye), Greece, Aegean, Black Sea, and eastern Med. The download also includes many ground and terrain objects, contributed by the talented modders in our community. It's essential to install all these components to get the complete experience. Enjoy! INFO & INSTALLATION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project is designed for 2nd Gen SF2 series. Succesfully tested in SF2:Europe and above. (A merged EXP2 install is recommended but not a requirement.) There are 2 ways/methods to install this Mod. #1 An exclusive install just for this Mod. #2 Installing on top of the mod folder you already are using. (meaning, merging with your own install) *** The preferred method of install is the (1) exclusive install. Since there are many groundobjects, ships and air defense systems placed in handpicked locations, it's better to only use the objects that come with this projects' files. The included ones are the makes/models that Turkish and Greek sides have in their inventory. (As best as I could research and find appropriate mods for) INSTALL METHOD #1 1. Copy and Rename a set of your "game.exe and game.ini" files to "Anatolia.exe and Anatolia.INI" (eg. StrikeFighters2 Europe.exe and StrikeFighters2 Europe.INI) Run the newly renamed Anatolia.exe once, so you have a new Mod Folder. Check this link if you don't know what a ModFolder is. http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/ 2. Now go into your new ModFolder and delete the "Objects\GroundObject" folder. 3. Time to copy the project files. Use Winrar or 7zip to extract the AnatoliaProject_Version1.7z to a temporary folder. Copy all included folders (Eg. Terrains, Objects, Flight etc.) into your ModFolder, overwrite if necessary. With this project, a terrain folder, groundobjects and their respective guns/weapons are included. INSTALL METHOD #2 With this method, you copy all included files to your already existing ModFolder. IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Everytime you load up the game. Run a quick single mission and quit without flying. All the successive SingleMission/Campaign games will work as designed and expected. (Why do this? Because the project includes many ground objects, seldomly the game engine has problems loading everything, so the first mission you load up will have many objects/ships missing from the map. The game does some kind of caching so after that first mission, everything will show!) 2. If you don't have a powerfull computer, lower your settings to avoid crashes. If your game crashes or locks up at %100 LOAD, try running your first mission with Settings: -Enemy Air Activiy: LIGHT, Enemy Air Defense: LIGHT 3. Two airfields are close to the MissionEditor edge limits of the map. Aktion and Diyarbakir airfields. If you are set to take off from these, the game will drop your cockpit in the stratosphere! and you won't be able to fly. Please reset your base or start in the air, if this happens. There wasn't much I can do fix this other than cancel their status. 4. The Terrain has LimitedNations set the TRUE. So you'll only get aircraft with only Turkish and Greek markings. 5. A specific Anatolia_EnvironmentSystem.INI is included and you can edit it to your liking. Take note that in the Environment file the clouds are set to a specific MinBaseAltitude to overcome the cloud bug. 6. All included Guns/Weapons/Sounds are for the necessary ground objects. Nothing extra is included here. Without the GroundObjects and their respective files, the map will not look as designed. (For example, naval traffic in the Aegean, historical sam sites and navy/army bases) 7. Most naval traffic in the Aegean Sea is classified as NEUTRAL. You can attack them but you can't order your wingman to do so. If you want, edit & classify the target areas as "Alignment=ENEMY" in the Anatolia_TARGETS.INI OTHER MODS TO ADD from 3rd Party Sites ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - OH_Perry FFG standing in for Turkish Gabya Class. Download from: http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ Copy the 4 LOD files into all three GroundObjects/GabyaClass* folders. Anatolia v2 (09/25/2011) for SF2 Series by PureBlue (Umut Destan) ------------------------------------------------------------------ v2 Ramblings ----------------------- New features: - The tileset is now based on Stary's GermanyCE reworked tileset v1.1. - New planning map contributed by Spectre8750 - New target areas (Mostly around the border, for future campaign plans) - New airfields (Stefanovikio AB, Ercan and Paphos in Cyprus) - A few airfields with new designs - Most naval groundobjects now include properly defined "destroyed models." - New SAM vehicles included (Crotale Standin, Avenger, L60 Bofors...) - More work in Cyprus. Some roads, barracks, harbours.. (Still work in progress) I suggest creating an Exclusive Install for this terrain. The pack already includes historically accurate groundobjects, and many of the aircraft used in the region are already available as mods and more are on the way.. Hopefully the next step for the project will be a pack that includes everything; campaings/objects/aircraft/terrain. Have fun! v1 Ramblings ----------------------- This project has been in development for 3 years and is the fruit of long hours of research, design and implementation work. I've met great people along the way and they made many contributions to the project. I thank every one of them but my special appreciations go to, Steve "Swambast" who worked countless hours with me and developed STT (Swambast's Target Translator) which let me lay the foundation of this project; and Stary, a great artist from Poland who is behind all the beautiful looks of the terrain; Dave and the CombatAce team for providing us the platform to meet and have fun. Rename a set of your "game.exe and game.ini" files to "Anatolia.exe and Anatolia.INI" (eg. Copy the included "Terrains" and "Objects" folders to your ModFolder. With this project, a terrain folder, groundobjects and their respective guns/weapons are included. INSTALL METHOD #2 With this method, you only copy the included "Terrains" and "Objects" folders to your ModFolder. The Terrain has LimitedNations set the TRUE. So you'll only get aircraft with only Turkish and Greek markings. 4. A specific Anatolia_EnvironmentSystem.INI is included and you can edit it to your liking. Take note that in the Environment file the clouds are set to a specific MinBaseAltitude to overcome the cloud bug. 5. All included Guns/Weapons/Sounds are for the necessary ground objects. Nothing extra is included here. Without the GroundObjects and their respective files, the map will not look as designed. (For example, naval traffic in the Aegean, historical sam sites and navy/army bases) 6. Most naval traffic in the Aegean Sea is classified as NEUTRAL. You can attack them but you can't order your wingman to do so. If you want, edit & classify the target areas as "Alignment=ENEMY" in the Anatolia_TARGETS.INI CREDITS (Thank you all!) ================================================================================== - STT (Swambast's Targeting Tool) by Steve "Swambast" - TK and Thirdwire - Stary for the Tileset and Hangars,Lighthouses - 8 new airbases for WOE by Gepard - Factory Places, Subpen/bridges by Gepard - Many airfields Light mods by Comprnt - Sundowner: B_Trailer_Mk82, M_trailer, B_TrailerLGB, Y_Tractor, RAF_Cart, B_Duel_Y_Trac, C_Type, RAF_Bunker, TAB_Vee, HAS_M, HAS_E, c_store, Earth Walls, mounds, blast walls and all desert variants of these objects - Planning map contributed by Spectre8750 - Wrench! This model represents the Zulfiqar class frigate, also known as F-22P type, in service with the Pakistan Navy since 2009. This class is an improved version of China's Type 053H3 Jiangwei-II class ships, armed with the same missiles but significantly more advanced close-in weapons. These general purpose frigates are Pakistan's most modern warships. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
