Fighter data ini tweaks now all done for a mini 1937 to 1941 install, will most likely package this soon and upload as a "Part I" package..."Part II" will follow later in the year with five or six two-engined bombers that fit well with a late '30s install. Have finally gotten around to tweaking the P-39 Aircobra (c variant and early d batch), and also one of my favorites, the P-40 (cu and/or early b variant), this should work well for early and obscure pto and mto installs. The Flying Tigers flew the c variant largely but I'll leave that perhaps for a future tweaks package for a mid-war scenario. Happy flying, Von S Can barely get above 8500 m alt in the early P-40 but good enough to create some contrails Some damage from a dogfight with Folgere types but the P-40 is fairly sturdy and can take a beating Couldn't resist getting some of the later-variant Folgeres at their base (Series 9 of the c.202 tweak in the pic below) Keeping good formation on the way back home I always find time to enjoy sun effects in the TW sims

Quite a while ago, when climate scientists first warned us about warming, I spent some time thinking about it for myself, and came to the conclusion that they were right, and how, at each point in our history we got here. We didn't mean too, but we did it because we do things in this world without being aware of the connections between everything. We always have, throughout our history. The only thing that saddens me is how different we are than my father's generation. My father, my mother, my uncles, my aunts, they all grew up during the great depression, when there was no social safety net, and then came WW2. What did they do? They all volunteered to fight, or serve. They left friends around the world. It took my father 40 years to tell me he won the Bronze Star. It took my uncle 40 years to tell me he was wounded in the Hurtgen Forest. Why? Because they didn't boast. They weren't about themselves. They always wanted something better for their children than they had experienced, and that's where we have failed them. They were, I think, the greatest generation. We are not, and never will be known as such. I have had people say it to my face, that whatever world we leave behind is something our children will just have to deal with, and they don't care. What a shift in human character that is. Miss you, Mom, Dad, because now our children need you. They don't need us.

one day I was chasing Q-5...I was already very close, enough to see this... So I've made quick repaint. (very very quick). Due to mapping a few things still look aww... but at least some small improvement. I never had a desire to improve more - as it is usually on my radar screen. here => PLAAF_Silver-Green.rar if someone wants gimp xcf layers. let me know.

SF2 Northrup F-89 Scorpion Remod Pack (V.3) 5/25/2019 *For SF2, Any & All (Full 5 Merged Prefered)* This is a repackaging, and MAJOR update of the F-89 Scorpion series of 1950s USAF All-Weather Interceptors. There have been many changes to the various inis, skins/decals, weapons, and whatnots. This is to be considered to be "Version 3", and hopefully the final time the F-89 gets a revamp (unless new models magically appear). This package builds on and improves from the v2 pack dated 3/3/2016. It also replaces that mod completely. This package contains ALL the various marks of the Scorpion, including those later variants built from/modded of Monty's original C & D model LODs. There are several new skins, marked with the star (*) You have herein: F-89C: 57th FIS, (Keflavik, Iceland) 74th FIS, 23rd FIW (Thule AFB, Greenland) F-89D: 75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1955) 84th FIS (Hamilton AFB 1955-59) 64th FIS (Alaska Air Command) 321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1954)* F-89H: 321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1956)* 75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1957) F-89J (Early): 321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1958)* 449th FIS (Ladd AFB, Alaska) F-89J (Late) 59th FIS, Goose Bay Labrador (1958-60)* 178th FIS "Happy Hooligans" ND ANG (1958-66) 124th FIS, Iowa ANG (1962-69)* Several versions also have a "Generic USAF Silver" skin, complete with decals. You may notice several squadrons used the Scorpion in several of it's various incarnations. This is historically correct. Due to mesh/node mapping reasons, some marking remain painted on. A large number however, are decals. Serial numbers are 100% correct for the models depicted, but should be considered 'generic' as they don't represent actual aircraft with a given unit. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. Squadron's listed in the stock game's SquadronList.ini have their names activated via my 'fake' SqTail decal. Those will display their proper names on the Loadout Screen's Squadron Selection Window. When possible, the SF2 'date switch' has been used to turn on Air National Guard units as they became equipped with F-89s. On such aircraft that have operating canopies (those that use the F-89D lod), the canopy works via the Standard Manual Animation Keystroke (tm), shift/0. Included also are "Scorpion" specifc weapons (using the "StationSpecifieCode=" statements. Nuke explosion effects are included for the AIR-2 Genie rocket. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. See "Notes" section for full change log and other important statements. The various other readmes, from all previous versions remain wherever they were originally residing. Good Hunting! I couldn't agree more with your thoughts, I couldn't have expressed them better. I am at a loss for the world future generations will live in. I am a 24 year old and I see this careless behaviour in my generation as well. Not to hijack the thread, but the recent anti-abortion laws in some American states also scare me a lot. If we give birth to children irresponsibly, without the basic needs for their health and future development, we shouldn't be called human beings. We must strive to create a better future for our kids. To give birth to new creatures and then abandon them to their (unlucky) destiny void of love, is a huge sin in my view.

View File AMX A-1A, AMX-T A-1B and AMX A-1M Brazilian Air Force The AMX International AMX is a ground-attack aircraft for battlefield interdiction, close air support and reconnaissance missions. It was built until 1999 by AMX International, an Italian-Brazilian joint venture. The AMX is designated A-1 by the Brazilian Air Force, and A-11 Ghibli by the Italian Air Force. The AMX is capable of operating at high subsonic speed and low altitude, by day or night, and if necessary, from bases with poorly equipped or damaged runways. Low IR signature and reduced radar equivalent cross-section help prevent detection, while low vulnerability of structure and systems aid survivability, while integrated ECM, air-to-air missiles and nose-mounted guns provide self-defence capabilities. AMX-T In 1986, development of a two-seat advanced trainer variant was undertaken. This was intended to provide trainee pilots with experience on fast jets, while still retaining the single-seater's attack capabilities. First flying in 1990, the AMX-T equipped both the Italian and Brazilian air forces. A-1M The product of a Brazilian upgrade program of their A-1s; significant features include a Mectron SCP-01 Scipio radar, Embraer BR2 data link, FLIR Systems navigation equipment, Elbit INS/GPS/databus, the adoption of a glass cockpit,[31] a new OBOGS system and HMD DASH IV. A auto-defesa é proporcionada por mísseis ar-ar, canhões integrados e sistemas de contramedidas eletrônicas including: Two versions of skin Two fictitious skins (A-1M) Three models: AMX-1A AMX-T A1B AMX-1M Model By Rafael Rodrigues Texture By Denis Oliveira Submitter denissoliveira Submitted 03/23/2015 Category Other Origin

All you have to do is look at the lives of the people who are shouting the loudest about climate change and how you have to give up luxuries to save the planet. I can't name one of them that isn't hypocritical. If you believe the planet is in danger, you don't just tell other people to change their ways. You set the example. Having huge mansions that consume tons of electricity and need tons of water for gardening, which also consumes tons of electricity, is not setting the example. Flying all over the world in your private jet or a chartered jet when you can use the internet to provide high definition live video and audio feeds is insane. Driving around in limos or large SUVs isn't exactly following the example either. Excusing all of this by claiming you are paying for "carbon credits" is the same as saying, "rich people can live anyway they want while middle and lower classes have to follow the rules."

Recon balloons were rare. Propaganda ballooning was a common thing in the 50th and 60th. The balloons should drop leaflets, but mostly failed. For interception Yak-11 planes were used.

Around 1959 Northrop with North Aviation tried to sell the N-156F fighter with the AA-20 missile linked with the Hughes TARAN system... presented under the name "Programme Rapière". I've found the old belgium "Mach Magazine" published in March 1960 with its advertisement.

The work is not finished yet, started on the more modern Tiger IIs. Below is pictured an early beta of the KF-5E, which is pretty similar in standards to the Swiss F-5Es. Highlights include radar warning receivers, chaff/flare dispenser and better radar.
