    Most done...F/2 and 4 ...ignore pilot...used wrong data.ini lol....most have some Notable pilots with personal markings etc...and mostly historically correct Gruppes... New G-10 in wip too...

    View File SF2 McDonnell F2H-2 Banshee (KAW) by Veltro2K SF2 McDonnell F2H-2 Banshee by Veltro2K 9/15/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 5 Merged Recommended) "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods" This package contains a new aircraft, the McDonnell F2H-2 Banshee, as used by the US Navy during the Korean War. That being said, this package =ONLY= contains those units that participated in the conflict. There are 4 units (skins) included in this package. In chronological order: VF-172 Blue Bolts (USS ESSEX, 1951) VF-11 Red Rippers (USS KEARSARGE, 1952) VF-22 Cavaliers - VF-62 Gladiators (both aboard USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN, 1953) The textureset inis for all skins has a listing of the exact dates of deployment. All markings, excepting squadron color bands, are decals. Decal Randomization is TRUE. 24 Modex numbers are supplied for each unit. The 24 'data plaque" BuNums are a pool shared among all the aircraft. Those units that are listed in the game's Squadron List, have their Displayed Name activated by my Patent-Pending 'Fake SqTail' decal. All weapons, sounds, and a pilot figure are supplied. New "box-art" style hangar and loading screens are also included, as is a spare "photo" style loading screen if you get bored with the painting. Wingfold and canopy operations are the Standard Animation Keystrokes (tm), Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy, and Shift/9 for the wings. When in-game, you'll see F2H-2 Banshee (V2K) on the aircraft selection drop-down list. This will diferentiate it from any other Banshees you may, or may not, have. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.     Im back on this mod, but its slow going atm. Ive updated the Sparrows, new motor data, flight time, seeker data AIM-7D, 1959+, first ejector-launch capable variant, proximity fuze AIM-7E, 1963+, improved motor, AIM-7E-2, 1969+ with "dogfight mode" for employment at shorter ranges, reduced minimum range, better fuzing AIM-7E-3, improved reliability and electronics, in service 1975 and exported (Greece, Turkey etc) AIM-7E-4, further modified E-3 for use with F-4J/S, F-14A AIM-7E_IRAN, export variant of the 7E, F-4D/E and F-14A To be continued..

    Okay I've seen the charts before but this video really helps put things into perspective. What's your favorite fictional air or space craft? Not going to lie, some of these are much smaller than I thought they'd be and others a larger than I thought they'd be as well.

    SF2 Hawaii/Northern Pacific Terrain, Modern (v.2) 9/5/2020 - For SF2, Any & All (Full-5 Merged, + Expansion Paks REQUIRED!!!) This is a rebuild of the WW2 Hawaiian Islands terrain into a more "modern" version (1950s and later). This is NOT a WW2 version; it is for post-war into modern times. Do NOT use this in your WW2 PTO mods folder!! You must also have SF2NA are part of you merged installs. This was built and tested in the NA environment. You may experience longer than normal loading times due to the number of terrain objects. It should be noted, due to the inherent scaling issue in the SF series, objects placed herein are, for the most part, representative of their Real World counterparts. See "Notes" for more information. When in game, on the Terrain Selection drop-down, you'll see: Hawaii (Modern) Even though the folder remains in it's original name of just "Hawaii". As is recommended, unzip this archive to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's recommended you -read- the document through after unzipping, but =BEFORE= installing. As always, the "Notes and Other Nonsense" section may make for entertaining reading. Down in that section is a list of required ships that you're going to need!! We are pleased to announce that they have been granted a DCS World license agreement to bring their project to DCS World as an official product. A-10C II Tank Killer Development Update DCS: A-10 II Tank Killer is currently undergoing a lengthy closed testing period to ensure accuracy, stability, and a smooth launch. We continue to improve the Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) indicators, add more skins and mission content, and tune flight model changes. We encourage you to get familiar with the new weapon systems to hit the ground running. This update is being developed in parallel with the A-10C VR Training Software for the United States Air Force 355th Wing. AGM-65L Laser-Maverick Development Progress In this video we introduce the primary features of this substantial update and instruct on the use of the AGM-65L laser-guided Maverick. The Laser-Maverick provides excellent range and ease-of-use to lock onto a target by using the targeting pod. GBU-54 LJDAM Development Progress The GBU-54 is a 500-pound bomb with options for INS/GPS and laser-homing guidance. It can be loaded on all 1760 smart racks. While INS/GPS allows launch-and-leave and the ability to engage through cloud and smoke cover, the laser-guidance provides increased accuracy and can engage moving targets. It’s up to you to determine the best guidance based on the engagement. Watch DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer - GBU-54 Laser-JDAM. AGR-20A APKWS Development Progress The Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) is a cost-effective method of engaging unarmored and lightly armored targets based on pinpoint laser-guidance. Both M-151 high-explosive and M-282 penetration warhead versions are available with seven rockets per each LAU-131 rocket pod. With a range of approximately 5 miles, the APKWS offers accurate firepower. Get a grip on how to use the APKWS with DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer Laser-Guided Rockets.     I forgot to mention in the read-me, that I REALLY recommend using the free-camera view, and 'vist' the Arizona Memorial. You can 'fly' through the entrance, into the 3 rooms. In the last room, the shrine, you can read the names of the fallen on the wall. We've never had ANYTHING even remotely like this in any of the SF games*, and I can't thank Swambast enough for taking the time to build it. *including FastCargo's Gateway Arch in St.Louis in the Mid-West USA map
