Some of you may have noted the creation of a new private developer's Forum. We at Coyote Aerospace are looking for volunteers with certain specific skill sets that will move our projects forward. It is our goal to bring you an ever widening variety of aircraft from all over. We need a "unwrapper" to help with the UV mapping for our models. This will aid and abet the fine, talented texture artists we already have and make it easier for us to create the necessary accurate paint jobs seen in the Real World (tm) versions of what we're building. We could also use an experienced Flight Model Guru, to help us fine tune some of the more esoteric parameters (ie: carrier landings and the like) that we've been having some difficulties with. Those with the skills, and who are willing to work for the Greater Glory (tm) of the SF2 series, please contact myself or Veltro2k Thanks In Advance!

Western Approaches, 6th June 1940 After failing to locate the first convoy reported, we have at last located another. We're waiting, submerged at 80 metres, ahead of its track, for the leading escort(s) to pass over... ... before coming up to periscope depth and attacking the merchantmen, who range from whale factory ships... ...to more conventional freighters, large... ...and small. In the event, the convoy approaches quite quickly and by the time I’m at periscope depth, there are merchantmen all around me, in several columns. My immediate priority is establishing that none of the ships is a collision risk. That done, I start picking out targets, fore and aft. There are so many that I’m a bit overwhelmed. On top of that, some are a bit closer than I’d like... ...while others are within range, but still too far off for a high probability of a hit. Above all else, experience tells me the heavy seas are going to mean that even shots that are accurate for line will have problems with the wildly undulating sea surface and the ships pitching up and down, on it. But I'm here, and they're there, right in front of my torpedo tubes! I can't resist the urge to do something about it, here and now, while I can! ...to be continued!

recycle TW tga? who does this? Homefries released a pack many moons ago to. could be some stuff in there for the lo viz skins i find it odd that for a game based in the 60s and 70s essentially, TK had the Alaskan Eagles reporting to Pacific Air Forces rather than Alaskan Air Command

Hello guys I have finalized a serie of skins for the training Nieuports used by the United States at Issoudun in 1918. "EmlD" continues to participate in the First Eagles community? Seems that he left this community long time ago. The last activite of him was in 2018. I would like to know if I can add their Nieuport 3D LODs on my pack, of course with all credit to EmlD and peter01. My skins, will require this, because they use Jpegs texture and are connected with a new type of training Nieuport without machine guns and are set to fly only reconnaissance missions in the aircraft ini files. Would be great thier approval.

Good question............what is the source for their Gunsight? I don't have any images but it is described as being a centre dot and an outer circle of ten Diamond shaped dots for the C. From an A manual but corresponds to the number of diamonds.

Hi Veltro2K, I have a soft spot for Intruders and Prowlers, so I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into a new model. Could I just ask you to look into the front part of the canopy / the windscreen? That area seems a bit too rounded on your model, whereas on the real Intruder we have 2 flat surfaces in front of the pilots, meeting in the middle with a prominent edge between them and prominent edges with the side parts of the windscreen as well. Here are a few pictures, which I hope illustrate my point. I do apologize if you have not finished work in that area and my comment comes a bit premature.

Thank you for the help. After changing the code "MinBaseSize=" from medium to small, it still caused SFP2 to crash when trying to use single player editor for CAS or armed recon. UPDATE: IT IS SOLVED! I FOUND THE PROBLEM, it is MY FAULT! What happened is that I renamed A-10 to a different name and the name was too long. So if you have aircraft name being too long, it will cause mission editor to crash. I shorten the aircraft name and it is working perfectly now! For example, I named A-10 as this: (USAF) A-10C Thunderbolt II [2005] "Warthog" it crashed. I shorten it as this: (USAF) A-10C Thunderbolt II [2005] Now mission editor can load successfully!

Alternative .PSD Template for Hangars / Eagle114th Screen Overhaul (1920x1080) This is a Photoshop template for making your own hangars to use with Eagle114th Screen Overhaul I really want to keep my aircraft collection sorted, so when i saw Eagle114th's work i decidded to make some changes and include some more info about every aircraft (i keep them separated by country / service branch) How to Use: This template contains 4 masked Groups, 1 what-if stamp and 1 text layer. Drag and drop your aircraft photo inside "Main Photo" Group, then press CONTROL + T to position and scale it inside the viewport, if necessary hide other layers inside this group. Select current manufacturer / service branch / flag or drag and drop your inside the relevant group (note that i've included a few images like Argentine, Brazilian and UK Flag) Hide or Show the "What-If" layer (it contains a stamp in the upper right corner, as you can see in some screenshots) Use the Text tool on the bottom text and type aircraft name Save as .JPG Requirements: Eagle114 Screen Overhaul - Gravicon Font (Free Download) https://www.fontzillion.com/fonts/tom-c-lai/gravicon-display?utm_source=fontsquirrel.com&utm_medium=matcherator_link&utm_campaign=gravicondisplay Credits: A HUGE thanks for Eagle114th for making such a wonderful new menus. and Wilches for some ideas Hope you like it :)

The Boeing 737 AEW&C is a twin-engine airborne early warning and control aircraft based on the Boeing 737 Next Generation design. It is lighter than the 707-based Boeing E-3 Sentry, and has a fixed, active electronically scanned array radar antenna instead of a rotating one. It was designed for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) under "Project Wedgetail" and designated E-7A Wedgetail. Model: Veltro2k FM tweak : Wrench Skins&Decals:Trent0001 ,Wrench Cockpit: Kesselbrut old age is a bitch! if I left someone out, please let me know. install in Objects/aircraft folder THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE. Sikorsky CH-53C Knife, HH-53B and HH-53C Super Jolly Green Giant Over Vietnam Ver 3.0 for SF2 This is a third party add-on of early rescue / special operations Sikorsky helicopter HH-53B, HH-53C and CH-53C It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. And will never work in SF1. March 2016 February 2019 ************************************************************* This is FREEWARE-DONATIONWARE and it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. The original readmes, if any, and all other pieces of the package MUST remain intact. The names of all contributors, modders, suppliers, etc =MUST= be listed in any new readmes. This package and any part of it may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. See the original readme documentation, if any, for further allowances and restrictions Any persons wishing to make further modifications, contact me first. Any persons wishing to make further modifications MUST remember to put everyone's name in it. Bribes and donations are accepted; ************************************************************* ************************************************************* THIS AIRCRAFT MOD OR ANY PART OF IT MUST NOT BE HOSTED OR POSTED FOR DOWNLOAD ON ANY OTHER WEB SITE WITHOUT MY EXPRESS PERMISSION, OR USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE THAN THIRDWIRE FLIGHT SIMULATORS, AND MUST NOT BE SOLD OR OFFERED FOR SALE BY ITSELF OR WITH ANY OTHER FILES OR MODS. ************************************************************* CHANGES: I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files. YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS CH-53Cand HH-53C and HH-53B from Vietnam pack. Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones. The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same can be overwritten without fear. Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini. Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas. Major changes in the cockpit - now it is much more correct. Although probably not everyone cares ore will see a difference. Anyway. ******************IMPORTANT****************** FakePilot mod needed to run this mod. As always. Standard animation commands HH-53 C: LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. ANIMATION 1 - cargo ramp half open ANIMATION 2 - cabin windows ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside ANIMATION 4 - refueling probe Hook - changes position when refueling to see the tip of the spear. rescue op: Open "bombbay" doors - cargo ramp and right side hatch/door ANIMATION 8 - Open side doors, lower jungle penetrator ANIMATION 9 - deploy PJ ANIMATION 10 - lower/raise hoist. Animation 8, 9 and 10 have a speed limit. So you can't hoist on full speed. With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes. Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control. Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly more and more, wait and it will take off. Cockpits. One cockpit for HH-53C and CH-53C equipped with RWR and one cockpit for earlier non rwr HH-53B. Historically not all HH-53C airframes were equipped with RWR. BUt this mod covers RWR mod installed. Skins. All serial numbers are based on available photos and are historically correct and few versions of one unit for each helo. Few versions of one unit for each helo. CH-53C 21st SOS HH-53C 37th and 40th ARRS HH-53B 37th and 40th ARRS Weapons. The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner equipped with GAU-2 minigun. Well, it is quite a defensive weapon. Unlike in pack 'Over Europe' here CH-53C can't be equipped with a refueling probe (small ini tweak will do the trick). Fuel Tanks 450 US Gal. for CH-53C and HH-53C and 650 US Gal. for HH-53B There is a separate weapon station called SandyStation - with allowed all sort of offensive weapons. Purpose of this station is to fly with Sandy (or any other USAF aircraft) as wingman fully loaded. Same way can be added Sandy fuel tanks. IMPORTANT - Due to tu construction of this mod, it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard, you may have some complications on the airfield - especially with underslung cargo load. Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots. Have fun. Edit and report bugs. Jarek Hereda. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this. daddyairplanes,331Killerbee,76.IAP-Blackbird. Thanks for all kind support. Reference: T.O. 1H-53©A-2-1 Technical Manual USAF HH-53 and CH-53 model. Notes: This is not actually a HC.5 Chinook, but a standard base model Chinook. It's the only one we have in SF2 so it will have to do. A programme to upgrade 46 Chinook HC2, HC2A and HC3 helicopters was initiated in December 2008. Called Project Julius, it includes new digital flight deck avionics based on the Thales TopDeck avionics suite, comprising new multifunction displays, a digital moving map display and an electronic flight bag, installation of a nose-mounted FLIR detector, and upgrading the engines to the more powerful T55-714 standard. Upgraded HC2, HC2A and HC3 aircraft will be redesignated HC4, HC4A and HC5 respectively, and deliveries are expected to commence in 2011. The first conversion, a Chinook HC4, first flew on 9 December 2010. Like the Hawks, she is relatively easy to fly on "normal" mode, which SF helicopters are tuned for. You can hover, fly backwards and sideways, ascend verticaly etc. It takes some practice and skill but is definately doable. Pinnacle landings are hard but can be done. You get what you put in, so if you practice you will be rewarded. She is armed with a pair of player operated 7.62mm L7A2 MMG's. SAS Troopers can be deployed from the rear of the bird. A nice feature is that they will "run" down the ramp and deploy onto the ground (using a "crater" effect). Be careful when selecting the SAS to deploy as many of the HC.5's parts are "fake" weapons and therefore can be "fired". SAS Troopers are used as IIRC they are the only British Forces that use the M4 Carbine. The bird has a full set of lights, including landing lights and a searchlight which are activated/deactivated by the "G" landing gear key. Included are two real Chinook wav files, you can pick which one you like. Listen to them IN GAME, as the game plays them correctly whereas the likes of Windows Media Player does not. Another nice effect is that if your bird is destroyed a nice Chinook wreck will be your funeral pyre! INSTALLATION: Place the ChinookHC5 folder into your Aircraft folder. Place the CH-47EA-Dam.bmp and MH-47G-Destroyed.LOD into your Aircraft folder. Place the HC5Tank, HC5Winch, L7A2, RAFHeloGunner and SAS folders into your Weapons folder. Place the 47Cargo, 47S, 47W2, HC5A, HC5A2, HC5CM, HC5F, HC5FLIR, HC5J, HC5M, HC5M2, HC5P, HC5RN, RAFHelopilot1 and RAFHelopilot2 folders into your Pilots folder. Place the Chinook and Chinook4 wav files into your Sounds folder. Place the two TADS files and the Loading wav file in your Flight folder. And finally, place the contents of the Object folder (SASCrater001, UKForces and Wreckobject.ini) into your main Objects folder. These are the "craters" that will show the Troopers on the ground once deployed. NOTE: The new "crater" is WreckType009, if you already have a WreckType with this number, just paste mine in and rename them as required. You will need to copy over the CH-147-R0g.LOD from the A-Team Chinook mod. If you do not already have it, get it from the A-Team Skunkworks site. CREDITS (a LONG list of contributors): A-Team for Chinook Mod. Note my skin is best possible with current model limitations. It is a generic RAF HC.5 Chinook. Dave "Zur" Zurawski for the glass "Top Deck" cockpit. Thanks Dave for the permission. My good friend Florian "AmokFloo" Schneider for the new SAS Trooper model and freight palette. Thanks buddy! Thanks also to the following: The BANIDOS TEAM for the most excellent damaged Chinook. Kevin "Wrench" Stein for Hangar/Loading Screens I used as a base. Daniel "Kesselbrut" Himmel for Helo Pilots and Helo Gunner on which I based the RAF pilots and gunner. Dels for the C-130J tanks. Ravenclaw_007 for the flare/chaff launchers. Dmtdragon for the flare/chaff positions etc. Tracker for the GRUA_Alouette. 331KillerBee for the L7A2 MMG, Ac-123K CBU, A4Q antenna, Flashbox, Mk7 Depth charge, LAU-32, and XM-8. Anyone else I have missed, apologies. Thanks to all.

Readme for the Raytheon AT-6B Texan II. For Strike Fighters 2 Series. Version 2.0 Changelog: -Cleaned up some areas on the 3d model plus increased the detail in almost all areas including AT-6B specific items plus the addition of extra details. (antennas etc.) -The skin's texture size and detail has been increased, plus changed to .jpg format. -Weapon modifications in _DATA & Loadout.ini files. -Included the AGM-114L as a CGR and added Hellfire rails to the 3d model to overcome the issue of engaging moving targets. -New hangar and loading screens. -New cockpit glass reflection texture. Version 1.5 MAJOR upgrade in cockpit and model by Dels. Much closer to actual AT-6B appearance and specifications. More weapons tweaking by FastCargo. Version 1.1 Added Sounds HUD Fixed Original model, FM, drop tanks, etc. based on Dels PC-9. Idea, decals, skins and coordination by Dave. Addons and weapons by FastCargo. This version is for the SF2 version of ThirdWire sims only! Installation: Copy the Objects directory into your ThirdWire mods folder. Allow overwrites (if any). The only alteration to basic stock or the current SF2 weapons are a slight tweaking of the basic Stinger missile. Notes on this release: The FM isn't perfect, but will work pretty good as long as you remember it is not an F-22...don't try to pull like you are one. Also, for some reason, certain racks will only load through the loadout.ini, but not in the pull down menu. Haven't found why this acts this way yet. Canopy is activated with animation key #10. Notes on the aircraft, from airforce-technology.com: http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/at-6b-light-attack/ "The multirole AT-6 will be capable of performing missions including: net-centric ISR with the ability for precise geo-registration, streaming video and datalinks; light attack including combat search and rescue (CSAR), close air support, forward air control and convoy escort; homeland defence (border security), port security, and counter-narcotics operations; and civil missions such as disaster area reconnaissance, search and rescue, and firefighting. The AT-6B is equipped with a sensor suite that can include a variety of electro-optical, infrared, laser and hyper-spectral sensors, for example the Wescam MX-15Di. The Boeing joint helmet-mounted cueing system, in service with the USAF and US Navy, can be fitted for targeting. There are six wing-mounted hardpoints for stores. With its MIL-STD 1760 smart weapons interface, the AT-6 can be armed with a variety of weapons including 0.50 calibre machine gun pod; air-to-ground missiles like Hellfire and Maverick; AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles; and munitions including Paveway II / enhanced Paveway II / Paveway IV guided bombs, joint direct attack munition (JDAM), small diameter bomb (SDB) and 2.75in rocket pods." In short, the AT-6B is a LIGHT attack aircraft, perfect for COIN ops, FAC, etc. Operate it with this in mind you'll find you'll have a lot of fun with it. Questions, contact us at CombatAce.
