  1. This is gonna be a looooooooong day...
  2. What are your texture graphics settings? Looks as if either what FC said, the trees are stressing your graphics card, or that the engine might be resizing the trees, resulting in the lower quality.
  3. Tofu

Tofu's pretty good if you have it with a good sauce... of course it has to do with the texture but I find I'll down pretty much anything that's not too soft. Preserved duck egg and soy sauce on tofu... mmm
  4. Looks kinda normal from the bottom - sorta like a B-29 on floats... but those two engines on the top...
  5. Looking forward to your HDR settings.
  6. Finally Found

    <S!>
  7. Not sure if the enbseries .dll creator could be contacted or agree to do this, but if bloom and the other stuff is possible, tweaking the brightness/contrast and adding a green filter should be possible.
  8. I got offered a job by the RAAF

    Congrats!
  9. RIP Ed

    S!
  10. i have 3 PS3

LOL! Take a look at some of the video responses
  11. So the major roadblock to having lights on carriers (other than having them built into the model) is that lights are hardcoded only onto aircraft, right? What if a carrier had a dummy catapult and it's own static aircraft assigned to it (like comprnt's static aircraft used pre 08 patch) with lights specified at the appropriate positions? I'm not too sure whether or not you can specify 2 or more flights originating from the same carrier (and which catapult they use), but even if you can't, a system like this would be good for night landing practice. :)
  12. Great ships. The idea was to make a dummy catapult (doesn't fire) and put an aircraft on it that would supply the lights - not sure it would interfere with the other cats though.
  13. Looks great! Looking forward to it.
  14. If I were you, I'd extract the stock .inis and adjust them accordingly; changing these lines Position=132,50 Width=350 Height=380 to fit the old one. Might just be something you missed copying over that conflicts with the new system.
  15. I'm not sure how it was done, but you could also consider something like the B-26 cockpit (?) where the arrester hook key was tied to the bombsite - with the AC-130 you could put a sort of FLIR as the gunsight tied to the arrester hook.
  16. Celebrating its 40th birthday today :) http://www.airspacemag.com/snapshot/39319917.html Looking forward to your model
  17. Flipping on the light (DS) (Good job on these missions comprnt! Hikes up the immersion factor.)
  18. Good work! It really means something about the team when they're still helping resolve problems instead of taking a much needed break (and enjoying their work  ) A very special breed of modders.
  19. Wouldn't you want a different glideslope for different aircraft?
  20. The one thing that really shines in this sim is the modability... as a couple people have brought up before, TK is only one man, making a whole line of games, but all the modders here and elsewhere have truly made this a sim that has something for (almost) everyone... I'd bet if Stiglr ever had the chance to fly, he'd take the bird up for a couple loops and come right back down, screaming at the plane owner that they hadn't built enough realism into it.
  21. That's extremely fast... how fast were you sailing? Is the carrier start date issue because of your date format: Tour[01].Start=07/21/1986 Tour[01].End=02/01/1987 as mm/dd/yyyy instead of mm/yyyy For example in WoV's stock Rolling Thunder (patched up to oct 08): Tour[01].Start=8/1964 Tour[01].End=5/1965 (or try getting rid of the zeroes in front of your numbers - maybe that format only works for single missions)
  22. Welcome Home EricJ

    Welcome home!
  23. Looks great... even better underneath I've always thought those canards resemble whiskers - like on a cat.
