  1. TSF Saab 37 Viggen(*) Flygvapnet Package

    Saab 37 Viggen(*)
by The Scandinavian Front & Friends.

The Saab 37 Viggen ("Thunderbolt", ambiguous with "Tufted duck") is a Swedish single-seat, single-engine, short-medium range combat aircraft,
manufactured between 1970 and 1990. Several distinctive variants were produced to perform the roles of strike fighter (AJ37), maritime patrol aircraft (SH 37)
and all-weather fighter-interceptor aircraft (JA 37). In the late 1990s, all Viggens was updated to the multirole version (AJS 37). The last flight with
the Viggen (AJS 37, AJSH & SK 37E Jammers) was done in 2005 with all airplanes replaced by the Saab 39 Gripen.

This package contains Four Flyable and One AI Aircraft

    Saab AJ 37 Viggen
Attack version with limited fighter capacity. In service between 1971 and 1998. This aircraft carried the now-famous splinter camo that is the dread of skinners and model makers worldwide.

    Saab JA 37 Viggen
Fighter version introduced in 1980 with new engine, entirely different avionics and an internal gun. Stayed in service until 2004 when it was replaced with the Saab 39 Gripen.

    Saab JA 37D Viggen
Upgraded JA 37 with RB 99 Amraam capacity introduced in 1997. All was taken out of service in 2004.

    Saab AJS 37 Viggen
The last and most capable version with lessions learned from the JAS 39 Program. 48 Viggens was updated to this standard and they stayed in service from 1991 to 2005.

Saab SH 37 Viggen (AI Only)
Maritime Patrol Version with potent attack capacity against maritime targets. In Service from 1975 to 1996.

    INSTALLATION:
Download this package and unzip into a folder of your choice, preferably one easy to access.

Visit the DAT site and download their Viggen package. You will only need the Cockpit folder as well as the LOD and OUT files. The airplane will not work without them.

Move the Cockpit Folder and the LOD and OUT files from the DAT package into this unextracted package - Viggen R3 goes into the JA 37 and AJS 37 Folders; Viggen R1 into the AJ 37 and SH 37 Folders.

Copy the package into your Mod Folder.

    Have fun.

The official soundtrack of the mod is
    with Sabaton.
Before downloading the main files again if you seek to patch the game, check the support topic. Patches are posted there too.

    Main Features:
New 512x512 Terrain Tiles by Stary; resident master of Terrains who have made sure that the Baltic region looks the part and steadily pushes the limits of the SF2 Engine.

New Flyable Aircraft: F 16AM Falcon, F 18 Hornet, J 32E Lansen , The J 35J Draken, Danish & Finnish Drakens, SK-16 & Helikopter 15B amongst others, the Helicopter with its own Visby Operations Mission! All new effects.

A number of corrections, smoother code, changes and small additions to existing campaigns as well as numerous bug fixes.

    Campaign Name: The Catalina Affair
    Year: 1952
    Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: Small
What to expect: A quick campaign with props and early jets over the Baltic. Made to resemble a larger battle that does not go deeper into a full blown war.

    Campaign Name: Operation Isbjörn
    Year: 1956
Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force, Finnish Air Force, Norwegian Air Force
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: Medium
What to expect: A longer campaign with jets and props. More focus on the ground war.

    Campaign Name: Operation Mannerheims Sköld
    Year: 1966
Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force, Finnish Air Force, Norwegian Air Force, Danish Air Force
    Naval Combat: Yes

What to expect: The Total War in Scandinavia. A long campaign, where no stops will be pulled in order to succeed in the battle. Large air battles, air assaults and intense dogfights are on the schedule.

    Campaign Name: Midvintermörker
    Year: 2012
    Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force
Naval Combat: In a manner of speaking
    Ground War Scale: Small
What to expect: Based on a novel by Lars Wilderäng. The ultimate pilots challenge as you fight to retake Gotland from a Russian Invasion Force. Survival is your goal.

Campaign Name: Operation Mannerheims Sköld 2014
    Year: 2014
Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force, Finnish Air Force, Norwegian Air Force
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: Large
What to expect: The Total War in Scandinavia. A long campaign, where no stops will be pulled in order to succeed in the battle. Large air battles, air assaults and intense dogfights are on the schedule.
Just with modern aircraft and adjusted accordingly. Gets very interesting as both sides start to run low on supply and have to risk losing missions to preserve their aircraft.

    Installation:
This mod requires SF2: Europe. SF2 North Atlantic, Expansion Pack 1 and DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter is highly recommended.

First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_.
Check http://www.thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out.

Delete ANY PRIOR TSF MOD INSTALLATION! This is vital as items has been renamed, moved or otherwise changed.
If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is
a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed.

Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe
depending on what you prefer and got installed. Name the Copy Strike Fighters 2 TSF.exe . Start your new .exe once, then close the game.

Now go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents.
Unzip the contents of the 7zip files "TSF2" into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites.

If you do not own Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic, then unzip "Unzip if you do not have SF2: NA.7z". Read the Readme included and follow it to the letter.
If you own Strike Figthers 2 Expansion Pack 1, unzip Install if you have SF2 Israel Expansion Pack 1.7z". Allow any overwrites.
If you own DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter, unzip "Install if you have DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter.7z". Allow any overwrites.

  4. The Scandinavian Front 2: Final Release

PLEASE BE AWARE; This release of TSF 2 is unpolished and is to be considered a Beta version. In short, there will be bugs and not all of them have been found. Unless things change significantly, there will not be more releases.
Please read the letter below to understand why.

If you just want the SK 60 or the Saab 37 Viggen - look in the Aircraft section. If not posted there, they will be posted there shortly.

A letter from the Project Leader:
My name is Jonathan and I am the project leader of The Scandinavian Front. I want to apologize that I will not be living up to the vision I had for The Scandinavian Front. The reason for this is because between my new full time job and all my other projects, TSF 2 fell by the wayside. This is not fair to TSF nor is it fair to you.

This is to be considered a Beta release. It has bugs. The Campaigns have not been fully balanced. But it is a playground that you can play around with - just like always. But this will be the Final Release of TSF 2. I sat down one too many times trying to make it perfect and I will have to accept that TSF 2 may never be. Maybe some day I will sit down and release a patch to bring it up to speed. But today is not that day.

I want to thank all the fans of TSF 2 for their support during this time. It has been invaluble. I also want to thank AngelP, Stary, Ravenclaw and my mate Paulopanz who have been there for me to make this mod what it is today. Without them, I could never have made this dream. Do not blame them for the unpolished state of this release, they gave me their all and I am very grateful.

    FEATURES

Fly and fight with Aircraft from the Scandinavian Air Forces, including the legendary Saab lineup of aircraft in combat against the Soviet Union in multiple scenarios from 1950 to 2014.

Campaigns include several intensive conflicts, training missions and a virtual museum allowing you to follow a Swedish Flottilj for most of its history!

Now at last - Saab SK60 and Saab 37 Viggen are avalible to fly in TSF 2 alongside - for the first time - Soviet Aircraft in service of the fictionalFinno-Soviet Republic!

More AI Aircraft to fly with or against!

Updated Terrain Tiles, Weapons and Menu Screens.

Optimized code; unused and outdated assets removed.

    Installation:
    This mod requires SF2: Europe.
SF2 North Atlantic, Expansion Pack 1 and DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter is highly recommended.
Please be aware that without SF2 North Atlantic, at least two Campaigns will be unavalible.
First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_.
Check Thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out.
Delete ANY PRIOR TSF MOD INSTALLATION! This is vital as items has been renamed, moved or otherwise changed.
If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed.
Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe depending on what you prefer and got installed.

Download ALL THE FILES into THE SAME FOLDER and Unzip TSF2_Final from TSF2_FinalPack.7z.001. You need 7z or Winrar to do this.

Unzip the contents of the 7zip files "TSF2_Final" into the mod folder of your choice.
If you do not own Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic, then unzip "Unzip if you do not have SF NA.7z". Read the Readme included and follow it to the letter.
If you own Strike Figthers 2 Expansion Pack 1, unzip "Install if you do not have SF NA.7z". Allow any overwrites.
If you own DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter, unzip "Install if you have DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter.7z". Allow any overwrites.
If you own DLC 028, unzip "Install_if_you_have_DLC28.7z". Allow any overwrites.

  5. TSF Saab JAS 39 Gripen Flygvapnet Package.

Please note: This is Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) JAS Gripen only. You are recommended to create new folders for the Hungarian, Czech and South African versions as this one will overwrite settings allowing them to show up in Campaigns.

The Saab JAS 39 Gripen (griffin) is a lightweight single-engine multirole fighter manufactured by the Swedish aerospace
company Saab. It was designed to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet).
The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology.
It is powered by the Volvo-Flygmotor RM12 engine, a derivative of the General Electric F404, and has a top speed of
Mach 2. Later aircraft are equipped for in-flight refuelling; most of the export aircraft have been designed
to be compatible with NATO interoperability standards.

This package contains four Aircraft with correct serials, year-specific loadouts and correct weapons for the Swedish Air Force.

JAS 39A: The initial fighter version that entered service with the Swedish Air Force in 1996. A modification program has started and 31 of these will be upgraded to C/D standard.

JAS 39B: The two-seat version of the A variant. It is 0.66 m (2 ft 2 in) longer than the single seat version. The rear cockpit does not have a HUD,
but an image from the front cockpit HUD can be presented on the rear cockpit flight data display; version has reduced fuel load and no internal gun.
Training variant; Little to no operational capacity.

JAS 39C: The NATO-compatible version of Gripen with extended capabilities in terms of armament, electronics, etc. It uses large colour displays with English language,
feet and knots instead of meters and km/h. This variant can also be refuelled in flight.

JAS 39D: The two-seat version of the C variant; otherwise similar to the B variant. Training variant; Little to no operational capacity.

  6. The Pacific Incident

    The Pacific Incident Mod
    for SF2: North Atlantic

IMPORTANT: This mod is made with some surprise in mind. If you do not wish to be spoiled, do not read the Credits (Under the Folder "SPOILER") until after you have played the mod. Also, you should refrain from observing the support thread as this is the official discussion thread with spoilers

At the first of August, 1980, the USS Nimitz departs from Pearl Harbour with a small escort group. As bad weather looms on the horizon, the escorts are detached and sent back to Pearl.

As the Nimitz sails head first into the storm, they discover a phenomena - a giant vortex - that nobody have ever seen before. It affects the crew, and the ship in a mysterious way.

As the crew wakes up, shaken and disturbed by the recent event, they know that their duty is to defend the United States in the past, present and the future...

Installation: Unzip into your Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic folder. Allow any overwrites.

    Please note:
The Terrain is very unoptimized since TK did not leave any instructions for Stary. As such, even the heaviest computers can have some issues with the endless water (for some reason). Setting Terrain Detail and Terrain Texture to Low will fix this and allow good FPS.

    Enjoy!

  7. Operation Formosa Freedom

    Operation Formosa Freedom
    By JonathanRL

    Year: 1959
Flyable Services: US Air Force, US Navy, Republic of China Air Force
    Carrier Operations: Yes
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: Medium
Cheese / Ham Sandwich Included: No

Hey, Paulopanz. This one is for you. Consider it a Thank-You for all you done for TSF !

    Summary:
    September, 1959

The Peoples Republic of China increases their rethoric against their wayward province Taiwan, on the Island of Formosa. For the purpose of "peace and order"
in the region, they demand that Formosa shall surrender its independence. Meanwhile, both US and Taiwan intelligence services declare the probability of actual invasion to be low.

Intimidated by the massive bomber armada of the PRC, the Goverment of Taiwan requests US Aid who comes swiftly in the shape of several Interceptor Squadrons.
Two Carrier Groups in the Pacific are also ordered to converge on Formosa; bolstering the strike capacity of the Island.

The worst fear of the Taiwanese people is confirmed as Amphibious Regiments are spotted outside the coast of the outer islands. This will be one of the fierest ground, air and naval war in history.

Will Formosa fall before US Marines arrive to relive the defenders?

    Installation:
    Required:
    Strike Fighters 2 Europe
    Strike Fighters 2 Vietnam

    Recommended:
    A-4A DLC
    Expansion Pack 1

If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, This mod will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for Formosa is
a good idea. If you only plan to use Formosa on your main installation, then this step can be bypassed.

Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe
depending on what you prefer and got installed. Name the Copy Strike Fighters 2 Formosa.exe . Start your new .exe once, then close the game.

Unzip the contents of the 7zip file "Formosa" into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites.

If you own Expansion Pack 1, unzip the file "Optimal" into the same Mod Folder to install correct skins for the J-2.

    Enjoy!

  8. TSF J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package

The Scandinavian Front J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package
    By Team TSF & Friends

The Saab 35 Draken (English: "Kite") was a Swedish fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. The Draken was built to replace the Saab J 29 Tunnan and, later, the fighter variant (J 32B) of the Saab 32 Lansen. The indigenous J 35 was an effective supersonic Cold War fighter that was also successfully exported to Austria, Denmark and Finland.

    Please note:
We lack a proper "Early" Draken Model, and as such, the A/B versions are incorrect and use the same 3D Model as the 35D/F/J versions.

If you already have the TSF Mega Package, you will only find minor edits, weapons as well as the J 35J to be new to this package. Hence, it is worth grabbing.

  10. The Scandinavian Front Mega Package Part 2

    Overview:

The Scandinavian Front (TSF) is a expansion pack type mod for Strike Fighters 2: Europe. It focuses on the efforts of the Scandinavian Air Forces to repel Soviet aggression in the Baltic area. Each part of the mod is self-sustaining and covers a different era, but they can also be merged
    Packages released:

    The Catalina Affair (1952)
    Operation Isbjörn (1956)
The Gulf of Finland Skirmishes (1964)
    Operation Mannerheims Sköld (1966)
    Midvintermörker (2012)

This package contains all released packages updated and ready to play.
    You also need Part 1!
    http://combatace.com/files/file/12979-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-1/

    Installation:

First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_. Check http://www.thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out.

Unzip the contents of the 7zip files into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites.

  11. Saab JAS 39 Gripen-C/D Força Aérea Brasileira Package

Saab JAS 39 Gripen-C/D Força Aérea Brasileira Package
    by The Scandinavian Front Team

The Saab JAS 39 Gripen (griffin) is a lightweight single-engine multirole fighter manufactured by the Swedish aerospacecompany Saab. It was designed to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet). The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology. It is powered by the Volvo-Flygmotor RM12 engine, a derivative of the General Electric F404, and has a top speed of Mach 2. Later aircraft are equipped for in-flight refuelling; most of the export aircraft have been designed to be compatible with NATO interoperability standards. The Aircraft was most recently leased by Brazil awaiting delivery of their Gripen-NG; At least 6 Gripen-C and Gripen-D will be avalible for the 2016 Olympics - most probably many more.

This package contains two "Probable-in-near-future" Aircraft with correct serials, year-specific loadouts and correct weapons.

JAS 39C-B(razil): The NATO-compatible version of Gripen with extended capabilities in terms of armament, electronics, etc. It uses large colour displays with English language,
feet and knots instead of meters and km/h. This variant can also be refuelled in flight.

JAS 39D-B(razil): The two-seat version of the C variant; otherwise similar to the B variant. Training variant.

  13. TSF 2: Expansion Pack 1

This is an Expansion Pack. You need The Scandinavian Front 2 in order to play this mod.
(Please read the included Credits file. I could not do what I do without the lovely people who helped me by allowing me to use their work!)

The official soundtrack of the mod is
    with Sabaton.
Before downloading the main files again if you seek to patch the game, check the support topic. Patches are posted there too.

    Main Features:
    * Several new and unique aircraft to fly, amongst them the Saab 18, Saab 21, Myrsky, Fouga Magister and Avia S-92!

    * New cockpits for the De Havilland Mosquito, Saab 18, Saab 21 and the Fouga Magister by Stary; one of the best cockpit builders for Strike Fighters.

    * A new Campaign, featuring an all out liberation of Finland by Swedish and Norwegian Forces set in the year 1950 including Amphibious Assaults.

    * Fly for the Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic! A TSF First, this Campaign will allow you to fly an aircraft for the communists, defeating the filthy, warmongering imperialists in the name of Socialism!

    * Bug Fixes and updates to the older campaigns, adding or replacing aircraft where suitable.
    Included Campaigns:
    Campaign Name: Operation Harmaahylje
    Year: 1950
Flyable Services: Swedish Air Force, Norwegian Air Force, Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic Air Force.
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: Large
What to expect: Korea War dogfights with very unique aircraft, a long and intense ground war that does not pull any punches.

    Installation:
This mod requires SF2: Europe & SF2 North Atlantic with The Scandinavian Front 2 Installed, Expansion Pack 1 and DLC 008 J 34 Hawker Hunter is highly recommended.

First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_.
Check http://www.thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out.

If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is
a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed.

Now go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents.
Unzip the contents of the 7zip files "TSF2" into the mod folder already containing TSF 2. Allow any overwrites.

    Notes:
Any person who may be responsible for the fact that Team TSF is not allowed to use the A-Team Saab 37 Viggen may not play this modification. If any breach of this rule occurs, I am at full liberty to mete out whatever punishment I deem fit. By downloading the modification, you agree to this condition.

  14. Open Ocean Carrier Battle Map

This terrain is Starys Water-Only terrain, adjusted to be a Carrier duelling ground. It has two Carrier Stations and a few
waypoints, as well as movement data to attack Convoys. There is no interference by ground based aircraft whatsoever, both Carriers
has to rely on what they have available on their decks and is thus perfect for single missions. The Terrain can however also
    be used for Sea-Based Campaigns.

    Installation:
Simply unzip into the Mod Folder of your choice.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This Terrain requires Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic

This Terrain may require some management of your Ground Objects. The key to this Terrain is the Ocean_NATIONS.INI. This needs to be adjusted to create the scenario you wish.
As of right now, it is set to USN vs Soviet. It is imperative that you choose a year where both nations have a Carrier; regardless of the nations chosen. Do note that
it does not have to be a Red vs Blue Scenario. Brazilian Navy vs Indian Navy, Indian Navy vs US Navy, Soviet Navy vs Brazilian Navy and onwards are all fun combinations
in their own way. Not to mention the classic "Argentine Navy vs Royal Navy" ;-)

To spawn a Carrier Group, there needs to be a Carrier and Escorts. Make sure the Carrier can house the intended aircraft!

    Troubleshooting:
There are a few issues that may arise with this terrain, and all of them are based on your Ground Objects:

My Nations/Enemy Carrier is not spawning:
Check that you added the correct nation in the Nations.ini
Check that the Carrier can carry the size of your aircraft (Some carriers can only house "Small" Aircraft and will not spawn if you chosen a "Medium" aircraft)
Make sure the Carrier has a Name List.

    My Carrier has no Escorts:
Make sure you have nation-appropriate Escorts. Escorts are ships designated as Crusiers, Destroyers and Frigates. This is done in the vessels Data file (WarshipClass=FRIGATE)
For some nations, you can download Escorts but for others, you need to edit them for the nation you wish to use.

Recommended Mods for use with this Terrain:
    Soviet Navy Vertical Pack
    WW2 Naval Units
    SF2: NA Ultimate Carriers Pack
    CVN Ulyanovsk
Recommend you look in the Add-On Ships Section for anything else you may need. Paulopanz has also uploaded several Airplane + Carrier Packages that are worth checking out.

As a Alizé pilot, you are to prevent any submarines from attacking the Clemenceau, sink enemy transports bringing reinforcements to Iceland
and work alongside your squadron to secure victory for NATO in this vital sector.

    Honneur, patrie, valeur, discipline!

    Please note:
This campaign is best played with visual and targeting aids on difficult setting. It becomes a tad too easy otherwise.

    Installation:
This mod requires Strike Fighters 2 North Atlantic and Strike Fighters 2 Vietnam OR French F-8E (FN) Crusader DLC.

Install into the Strike Fighters 2 Mod Folder of your choice, usually found at
    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFigthers2

compatibility. Allow overwrites or use a separate folder.

  16. TSF Saab JAS 39 Sea Gripen-C Package.

    Installation:
Unzip the entire package into your mod folder, usually Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 or similar.

    Information:
The Sea Gripen is Saabs take on a Carrier Borne Fighter, based off their Saab Gripen NG Project. It was however some ideas that the C version also
would be an ideal platform for navies with smaller Carriers as a gap-filler until the Gripen NG entered the market. The idea has since been scrapped.

However, this is the What-If Section and since we like Saab does not have a Gripen NG (E/F) available, we made one off the Gripen-C instead.
Good Gripen-C Templates are included and free for use.

This package contains one Aircraft with five skins, correct serials, nation-specific loadouts and correct weapons.

Saab Demonstrator: Two made, modified from Swedish Air Force Gripen-Cs. Initally built as a proof-of-concept but then transferred for demonstrations and
practical trials. First naval operation trials was made on the USS George H.W Bush during 2012. Alongside the many details in the contract, Saab retained
the right to the US Navy Digital Camo for use upon the airframe. Official demonstrations of these Aircraft is said to have been boosted by Saabs decision to
give out free copies of The Scandinavian Front during air shows.

Swedish Air Force: The Swedish Air Force, in a frenzy to find new budget cuts for their Armed Forces decided to refit a Wing of Fighters from the Gripen-C to
the Sea Gripen-C instead of upgrading them to the Gripen NG. The wing was then activated in 2014 as part of the Swedish Air Force Rapid Reaction Force where
Carrier Landings in NATO Operations may be a requirement. The wing is based at F 21 Luleå and have access to the USS Queen Elizabeth for Carrier Training for their pilots.

Brazilian Naval Avitation: The Brazilian Navy was the first nation to adopt the Aircraft for their navy, making the development of the Aircraft a requirement
for the later approval of the Gripen NG Contract. VF-1 recived the Aircraft and begun training in 2014 and declared themselves operation for duty on the A 12
Sao Paulo in early 2016, making a flyover at the Olympic Games. Brazil has scored most kills with their Gripens, shooting down dozens of Drug Smuggling Aircraft
    and boats every month.

Indian Fleet Air Arm: Following the defence paper of 2011, the carrier INS Viraat was to be decomissioned in 2020. However, without the Sea Harriers, she had been
reduced to a Helicopter Carrier. Doubting both the Gripen NGs and the Rafaeles capacity to land upon her decks, the Sea Gripen-C was tested and subsequently bought 20 aircraft
with a requirement for a quick delivery. The Indian Navy has expressed interest to retain the INS Viraat for a longer period of time, satisfied with the combination.

Royal Navy: Following the near-crash-and-recovery of the F-35 Project saw the Royal Navy reducing the ammount of Aircraft to equip their Queen Elizabeth Class Carriers with.
In order to retain maximum value for the Carriers built, the F-35B entered a Fleet Defence and offensive air combat role with the Gripen-C with both low purchase and operating costs
deemed the best alternative. The 801th Naval Air Squadron with battle honours from world war II, Korea and the Falklands was reactivated to fly the aircraft, putting them in the front line
for Britannic Security Policy once again. The Royal Navy is pleased with the Aircraft and has expressed interest to upgrade to the Gripen NG in the 2020s.

  17. Wings of your Nation: Sea Gripen Chronicles

The general idea of this campaign is to imitate the over-the-top, generic Jet Fighter commercials that companies sometimes produce. As such, expect the Rule of Cool to be in full effect.

    Year: 2016
Flyable Services: Saab, Swedish Air Force, Brazilian Navy, Indian Navy, Royal Navy, German Naval Aviation
    Carrier Operations: Yes
    Naval Combat: Yes
    Ground War Scale: None
What to expect: Carrier Operations, Naval Support - dogfights and attacking ships in open water.

In another part of the world, there is suffering. A civil war has recently ended and the UN have decided to bring in humanitarian aid. As we speak, convoys are assembled to bring food and medicine to the population.

A major regional power, a Rogue Nation is unhappy with the end of the civil war. They have profited by the constant warfare in their enemies nation, trying to put their puppet in the presidents office. They are even now preparing to destroy the convoys and bring their own law into the torn nation.

The UN did however anticipate this. A Task Force from your nation have been dispatched with ships from SAAB Kockums and Sea Gripen fighters. Defence of the convoys and the destruction of enemy naval forces is your mission objective. If possible, you must also hinder their transports of weapons and equipment to reach the war-torn area.

You are the Wings of your Nation. You are Gripen Pilots.

    Installation:

  18. SF2E: TSF: Operation Isbjörn

    SF2E: The Scandinavian Front
    Operation Isbjörn 1.3 Stand Alone.
    By The Scandinavian Front Team.

Special thanks to gillg and Wrench.

In 1956, diplomatic talks about the Baltic Sea region between Finland, Sweden and the Soviet Union broke down. Angered and afraid of
NATOs influence in Scandinavia, The Soviet Union demands that Finland and Sweden joins the Warsaw pact to ensure the borders of the
Union. Both countries refuse. On October 1th, the Soviet Union deploys forces to force the countries into the pact.

Sweden, Finland and Norway set condition Isbjörn, activating an alliance against Soviet Agression and rallies to defend Scandinavia...

    Installation Instructions:
Simply unzip it all into your mod folder. I would advise you to use a clean installation so there is as little risk as possible
for errors. This mod does not overwrite any original data and can be used alongside any Central Europe themed mod Campaign - in theory.

If you own Strike Figthers 2 Israel, unzip the "Install_if_you_have_SFI_Exp1" file into the mod folder as well, and allow any overwrites.

This can be used as stand alone or to patch earlier versions of Operation Isbjörn.
    Important Notes:
SF2 Europe is a requirement. Preferably, use a fully merged installation.
The Terrain itself is not very combatible with the other games, hence the requirement.

While the DLC 008 Hawker Hunter is not required, its strongly recommended for this campaign.
If you have the A-21R from A-Team Site, This campaign has a squadron that flies it - if installed.

Kindly report any bugs or issues to me by PM or in proper thread.

    1.3 Additions:
    A 32A Lansen (Early)
The Lansen have been reskinned and revamped completly. Feels different, acts different, looks VERY Different ! A must try!

    The Vampire:
J-28B Vampire and the finnish "Vamppi" is now flyable for people without Expansion Pack One. They are not as good looking
as pauls versions, but they are a good substitute for the AI.

Also included are many fixes and twists as well as some bug fixes. Enjoy !

  19. Operation Stora Bält

The Second World War is long since over and the Swedish Empire has managed to stay neutral despite provocations from both sides. As The United States and Soviet Union are busy with each other, there is the time and place to settle an old score, the sworn enemy since centuries past. Now reduced to only controlling the most vital strategic asset in the Atlantic Ocean, the Swedish Navy has been given their orders - The Kingdom of Denmark must be erased from the face of the earth and control of Iceland given to the Swedish Empire - By God and Victorious arms!

A/N: So I got a little bored waiting for assets for the almost complete Expansion Pack 1 and decided that I had to pay a little tribute to the fact that Sweden and Denmark
has the dubious honour of holding the record of most wars fought between them. So I decided on this little AU to have an excuse to launch a major Amphibious Invasion at Island. Total time from idea to completion was about 3 days. Have fun.

    Installation:
    This Mod requires SF2, SF2: Vietnam, SF2: Europe, SF2 Israel, SF2 North Atlantic, SF2 Expansion Pack 1 and SF2 Expansion Pack 2.
It has not been tested with anything less. It might work without SF2 and SF2 Israel but I really have no idea.

Unzip into Mod Folder. This mod is compatible with The Scandinavian Front 2 and TSF 2: Expansion Pack 1.

    Notes:
Any person who may be responsible for the fact that Team TSF is not allowed to use the A-Team Saab 37 Viggen may not play this modification. If any breach of this rule occurs, I am at full liberty to mete out whatever punishment I deem fit. By downloading the modification, you agree to this condition.

Do check the Credits section. I cannot do what I do without the talented people who provide terrains, ground objects and aircraft for me to use.

  20. SF2: Europe Expansion 2 Campaign Flyable Aircraft tweak 1.1 (NATO)

Just unzip into your merged Strike Fighters 2 Folder.
You need SF2: Israel Exp 1 for this to work.
Only tested on fully Merged Installation.

I also very much recommend Soulfreaks F-84 Mega Skin Update Pack:
    http://combatace.com/files/file/11551-thirdwire-f-84f-mega-skin-update-pack/
I have not tested this mod without using it, and using it would be a great thing for you to do. Trust me :)

You have to make the aircraft flyable by yourself. To do this, simply copy the line:
    CockpitDataFile=Hunter6_cockpit.ini
into the .ini of the Aircraft you wish to make flyable.
For the Spitfires, I recommend using the P-51D Cockpit:
    CockpitDataFile=P-51D_cockpit.ini

Contains the Campaign fix for the F-100A Super Sabre.
Warsaw Pact Air Force now also operates a few Squadrons of Spitfires,
used as standins for Soviet Props.

Added Aircraft (All are Flyable in Campaign with abovementioned modification)

    USAF: F-84F, P-51D
    RAF: Canberra, Spitfire9e, Spitfire 9c, Vampire9
    France: F-84F, P-51D
    Denmark: Hunter 5, Meteor8
    Luftwaffe: F-84F
    Netherlands: F-84F, Meteor8, Hunter4
    Belgium: F-84F, Meteor8

My Tributes to the NATO Fighters & Mirage Factory teams.

    Thanks to:
    Thirdwire
Its his toys, I only changed their places in the Toybox!

  21. Operation Longbow (Desert 1983)

    Operation Longbow 1.1
    By JonathnanRL

As the 1975 Dhimar-Paran war ends with the exile of Parans Emperor, a discovery is made in the
deepest corner of Parani Mountains. A mineral mine, large enough alone to sustain the Empires economy
for generations to come have been discovered, much to the dismay of the Dhimari whose oil supply after decades
of war have either been spent, burned or sold.

As the eighties arrive, Paran have reinforced their Air Force with western jets, cut most of their ties with the
Soviet Union and become a member of the United Nations. Dhimar however does not trust the military buildup in the
region and argues that a pre-emtive strike to "subdue" Paran is necessary. The Kingdoms true goal, however
is control of the mineral mine.

The United States, seeing the need to aid their ally reluctantly sends Air Force and Marine Corps Squadrons to the
region in order to defend the Kingdom, should Paran attack.

On the last of Januari, 1983, A lone Parani Mirage strafes the American F-15s based at D3 Airfield. The next day,
The Kingdom of Dhimar attacks the Empire of Paran. Angered by the attack upon their Forces, Ronald Reagan
orders the US Forces to support the Dhimari Offensive...

You need everything but SF2: Israel Expansion Pack 1 for this Campaign. It is designed to work
in a Merged Installation and uses Aircraft from all four as well as Expansion Pack 2.

    Optional Add-On Aircraft:

Theese Aircraft will be present in the campaign if you have them installed.
If they are not installed, others will take their place...

  22. TSF J 35 Draken Ilmavoimat Package

The Scandinavian Front Saab J-35S Draken Ilmavoimat Package
    By Team TSF & Friends

The second and final new-build Draken order came from the Suomen Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Force) in April 1970 for 12 all-weather interceptor 35XS (export Suomi) aircraft to be built in Finland by Valmet from Swedish "knock-down" parts. Seven J35Bs, stripped of all-weather avionics, were leased to the Ilmavoimat in 1972 as the 35BS in preparation for the new aircraft and were bought outright in 1976.

The first new build aircraft were delivered in April 1974, the last of the new aircraft arrived in 1975 and all were designated 35S. Six ex-Swedish J35Fs (as the 35FS) and three Sk35Cs (as 35CSs) were bought in 1976 at the same time as the 35BS aircraft mentioned above, and another ex-J35F (18 aircraft) and Sk35C (2 aircraft) order followed in 1984. The arrival of two-seat trainers in Finland meant that pilot conversion could now take place "at home" instead of in Sweden.

Initially Drakens were delivered to HävLLv 11 of the Hämeen Lennosto (Häme region Wing) based at Tikkakoski near Jyväskylä in central Finland. Later, HävLLv 11 relocated to the extreme north, taking up residence at the base of Rovaniemi within Lapin Lennosto (Lapland region Wing). In 1984 a second Draken unit was formed as HävLLv 21 of the Satakunnan Lennosto (Satakunta region Wing) at Pirkkala, near Tampere in south-western Finland.

    This package contains three aircraft. J 35BS, J 35S & J 35S 1990 refit. They are correctly armed with Swedish-built missiles.

    Have fun, Juhis!

    Installation:
Go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Your Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents.
Unzip the contents of the 7zip files into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites.

Please note: OP Isbjörn 1.2 is stand-alone but can be used to upgrade OP Isbjörn 1.1 to 1.2.

    Major changes include:

    * Completly rewritten ground war

    * Air Attack strategy now reflects Swedens military objectives during the Cold War

    * New Aircraft (Tunnan versions mostly, but also Pauls J-33 Venom)

    * A cleanup of the Swedish Air Force divisions.

    * More variety in enemy aircraft, including MiG-19s and Tu-4 Bombers.

for errors. This mod does not overwrite any original data and can be used alongside any Central Europe themed mod Campaign - in theory.

    Important Notes:
SF2 Europe is a requirement. Preferably, use a fully merged installation. The Terrain itself is not very combatible with the other games, hence the requirement.

Aside from that, no other downloads required. The package contains all necessary aircraft, weapons and objects.

While the DLC 008 Hawker Hunter is not required, its strongly recommended for this campaign. If you want J28B Vampire Squadrons, you need to own SF2: Israel Expansion Pack 1.

Kindly report any bugs or issues to me by PM or in proper thread.
