A small mod that awards you with Indian medals when successfully flying adn completing missions for the Indian Air Force & Navy.
Made and tested with Indo-Pak mod only and it is meant to be used with that Mod ONLY!!!!

Installation

- Just unzip the files in your SF2 mod folder
- In the Flight folder, Open MedalsInd.ini and replace the following in each Citation line:
a) XXX with your Windows User name. For e.g,in case of my name, the Citation line would look like - C:\Users\Sandesh Kanchan\Saved Games\ThirdWire\YYY\Flight\IndPVC.txt
b) YYY with the the SF2 install name of your C:\Users\XXX\Saved Games\ThirdWire\YYY\Flight\IndPVC.txt. For e.g if you have used Strike Fighters 2 Europe as base for your Indo-Pak mod install, replace "YYY" with "StrikeFighters2 Europe". In case of my name, the Citation line would look like - C:\Users\Sandesh Kanchan\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\Flight\IndPVC.txt

Mod to represent HAL built Alouette IIIs in Indian service(nicknamed "Chetak").
Contains three mods with dedicated skins an serial numbers of all Chetaks built by HAL and imported from France.
a) Chetak_IN is the Indian Navy's SAR & MATCH(Marine Torpedo Carrying Helicopter)
b) Chetak_IAF is the Indian AF & Army's SAR and Light CAS platform
c) Chetak-CG, I just modded for fun as Coast Guard's SAR helicopter
It is being uploaded as it is with some FM issues, which is beyond my understanding to fix.

Mil Mi-8 Rana mod based on Marcfighter's Mi-8. Package contains full aircraft, Cockpit etc for any of the Strike Fighters 2 series titles( patched upto July 2012 patch).
Package contains skins and decals to represent six Indian Air force Mi-8 Squadrons. Actual Indian AF Mi-8 Serial number decals of Indian AF Mi-8s also included(selectable in the loadout screen).
Aircraft Textures are in jpeg format to represent following Indian Air Force Mi-8 squadrons( some of which have converted to Mi-17s).

The biggest change is that the Hunter now able to carry 25 & 60-lb rocket projectiles( something which Indian Hunters did frequently on strike missions).

Mod to represent Indian Air Force MiG-23MF Flogger, nicknamed by the Indian Air Force "Rakshak"(Saviour/Protector in Hindi). Meant specifically for use with the SF2 Indo-Pak install.
The MiG-23MF was acquired by the IAF in 1983 in response to Pakistan's acquisition of F-16s.It was the first IAF fighter equipped with BVR missiles(R-23/AA-7). The IAF operated two MiG-23MF squadrons, No. 223 "Tridents" and No. 224 " Warlords". Both squadrons are represented in this mod. No. 224 Sqdn continued to operate the MiG-23MF till 2007, when they retired the MiG-23MF and converted to Jaguars

Changes in v1.1 - Added Stary's excellent Vampire cockpit. Many thanks to him for granting permission to use his work for this mod.
The mod is meant as a tribute to the first jet fighter India acquired and manufactured under license in India. It was 45 Squadron's Vampires that went into action on 01 Septmber 1965 in a valiant attempt to stop Pakistan's suprise attack that marked opening day of the 1965 war. Four valiant Vampire pilots lost their lives that fateful day in that brave attempt. Tthe Vampires were slightly successful in slowing down the Pakistani thrust. Contrary to Pakistani propoganda that the Vampires were pulled out of service the day after the Vampire losses, 45 and 220 Squadron's Vampires continued flying interediction sorties through the war.

Indo-Pak mod Mystere IVA Indian Air Force Skin Pack
A Skin pack that is basically meant to update the stock Wrench's Thirdwire Dassault Mystere IVA(Indian AF) that is a part of the Indo-Pak mod aircraft package.
The package has been tested on a merged Indo-Pak SF2 install( SF2/SF2E/SF2V/SF2V/SF2I/Exp pack1 & 2/SF2NA updated upto July 2012 patch) . It does not contain any cockpit or lod files and uses stock Mystere IVA a/c and cockpit model. All skin textures are in jpeg format.
It *may* not work properly if your install does not satisfy the above requirements

Installation
Warning : This is meant strictly for the Indo-Pak mod on a full SF2 merged install and it will overwrite the MystereIVa.ini file. I will not be reposible if you chose to install it over a generic install and it messes up your ini files.Should you choose to install it a non-Indo-Pak install, do so at your own risk.
Drop the contents of the file(Aircraft & Decals folders) in your X:\Users\YYYY\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects folder and let it overwrite (assuming yours is a Indo-Pak mod install).

MiG-29 Fulcrum "Baaz" Indian Republic Day Scheme Skin
Fictional Indian Flag Skin for Mirage Factory MiG-29A_In model. This scheme was painted on four IAF SU-30K/MKs for India's Republic Day flypast.
It is recommended to update/replace the MiG-29A_In( that came with the Indo-Pak mod) with the one by SF2 updated Mirage Factory/dast24 (link:http://combatace.com/files/file/12489-the-mirage-factory-mig-29-fulcrum-mod)
This skin pack would not have been possible without Sundowner's great MiG-29 templates. So credit for these skins got to Sundowner as well.

A pack of seven Indian Air Force skins & actual IAF MiG-29 serial numbers pack for Mirage Factory MiG-29A_In model. This has primarily been made for the Indo-Pak mod.
