The skin is for ajunaidr's excellent F-104A Starfighter made using his templates.
Reports from Indian MiG-21-pilots that engaged PAF Starfighters in air combats on 17 December 1971 indicate that the Starfighters wore "desert camouflage". It is now well-known that a number of Starfighters from the No.9 Squadron Royal Jordanian Air Force were sent to Pakistan during this war: some of these aircraft were camouflaged, and it is now believed that the Indians on 17 December engaged these "ex-Jordanian" F-104As, shooting down two of them and one of original PAF Starfighters as well.

This scheme was painted on an F-6 in colours to symbolise the China-Pakistan friendship, during the F-6's retirement ceremony from PAF service at Samungli AB .
The ceremony actually served three purposes; to mark the retirement of the F-6, to welcome the F-7PG into service, and to celebrate the Sino-Pak friendship. The PAF began to rely on China for new technologies after the 1965 India-Pakistan War, when the US suspended its military aid to both countries. India turned to Russia for its arms support, while the F-6 became the first tangible evidence of Pakistan's relationship with China.

This skin depicts a F-6 of Pakistan AF 19 Sqdn "Warhawks" based at Mianwali Air Base.The skin is for Crab_02's F-6.

This skin depicts a F-6A of Pakistan AF 15 Sqdn "Cobras" based at Kamra Air Base.These markings were painted on the CO's a/c of the 15 Sqdn.
This skin is for Crab_02's PAF F-6A.

Contains three mods with dedicated skins an serial numbers of all Chetaks built by HAL and imported from France.
a) Chetak_IN is the Indian Navy's SAR & MATCH(Marine Torpedo Carrying Helicopter)
b) Chetak_IAF is the Indian AF & Army's SAR and Light CAS platform
c) Chetak-CG, I just modded for fun as Coast Guard's SAR helicopter
 
It is being uploaded as it is with some FM issues, which is beyond my understanding to fix.

This pack contains serial numbers of Hunter F.56As delivered to the Indian Air Force by UK after the 1965 war as attrition replacemnts and fleet expansion programmes.
Hunter F.56As were Indian versions of Hunter FGA.9s. Hunter F.56s delivered before the 1965 war were Indian version of Hunter F.6.
36 F.56As ordered in 1965, 11 in 1967, and 6 in 1968.

Jaguar in IAF service

The IAF operates three variants of the Jaguar - Jaguar IS(GR.1), Jaguar IM(Maritime strike) and Jaguar IB(two seat Trainer ).a total of 158 Jaguars were commisioned in the IAF of which 120 were manufactured at HAL(79 IS, 29 IB, 12 IM). IAF Jaguar IBs have been converted into fully capable attack aircraft with ability to carry LGBs.
 
The Jaguar International was selected in October 1978 to fulfill the Indian Air Force's Deep Penetration Strike Aircraft(DPSA) requirement.An Initial batch of 40 aircraf twere purchased with subsequent 45 to be assembled by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Meanwhile the IAF took on loan 18 RAF Jaguars, the first two of which were handed over on July 19th, 1979. They were inducted in No.14 "Bulls" squadron to replace the ageing Hunters and Canberra bombers. The first HAL assembled Jaguar(JS136) made its maiden flight on March 31st, 1982. The first indigenous manufacture Jagaur aircaft was completed in early 1988.Jaguars were also inducted in Squadrosn No.5 "Tuskers" and No.6 "Dragons", the latter being equipped with some Jaguar IMs in anti-shipping role.The first Jaguar IM was delivered in January 1986. The maritime Jaguar is integrated with the Sea Eagle anti-ship missile. The total order of IAF is approx. 131 Jaguars which form the frontline arsenal of the IAF's armour and is expected to be in service for many more years with aircraft upgrades planned.

The mod is meant as a tribute to the first jet fighter India acquired and manufactured under license in India. It was 45 Squadron's Vampires that went into action on 01 Septmber 1965 in a valiant attempt to stop Pakistan's suprise attack that marked opening day of the 1965 war. Four valiant Vampire pilots lost their lives that fateful day in that brave attempt. Tthe Vampires were slightly successful in slowing down the Pakistani thrust. Contrary to Pakistani propoganda that the Vampires were pulled out of service the day after the Vampire losses, 45 and 220 Squadron's Vampires continued flying interediction sorties through the war.

Hunters of the IAF

A delegation from India visited Hawker in the UK in 1956 to consider purchase of either the Hunter F.4 or the F.6. Not surprisingly they chose the F.6, ordering 182 in 1957, including 160 "F.56s" , which were F.6s with cannon muzzle blast deflectors and brake chutes, and 22 "T.66" trainers.
 
The first 16 F.56s were actually F.6s obtained directly from RAF stocks, which were modified to F.56 standard after delivery to India. The remaining F.56s were delivered from Hawker. Initial delivery of the F.56 to India was on 11 October 1957, with the type going into squadron service at the end of the year.By the end of 1961 Indian Air Force (IAF) Hunters were up to strength, equipping seven squadrons. They were generally painted in standard RAF green / dark gray / light gray colors.
 
Indian Hunters are believed to have participated in "Operation Vijay(Victory)" - Liberation of Goa from Portuguese rule in 1961.
 
Indian Hunters saw their first major combat service during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965, when they were mostly used in the ground-attack role.

a) XXX with your Windows User name. For e.g,in case of my name, the Citation line would look like - C:\Users\Sandesh Kanchan\Saved Games\ThirdWire\YYY\Flight\IndPVC.txt
 
b) YYY with the the SF2 install name of your C:\Users\XXX\Saved Games\ThirdWire\YYY\Flight\IndPVC.txt. For e.g if you have used Strike Fighters 2 Europe as base for your Indo-Pak mod install, replace "YYY" with "StrikeFighters2 Europe". Indo-Pak mod Mystere IVA Indian Air Force Skin Pack
 
 
A Skin pack that is basically meant to update the stock Wrench's Thirdwire Dassault Mystere IVA(Indian AF) that is a part of the Indo-Pak mod aircraft package.
 
The package has been tested on a merged Indo-Pak SF2 install( SF2/SF2E/SF2V/SF2V/SF2I/Exp pack1 & 2/SF2NA updated upto July 2012 patch) . It does not contain any cockpit or lod files and uses stock Mystere IVA a/c and cockpit model. All skin textures are in jpeg format.
 
It *may* not work properly if your install does not satisfy the above requirements
 
Package contains serial number decals(all 110 IAF Mystere IVA airframes), skins and markings for all Indian AF Mystere IVA squadrons that took part in the 1965 Indo-Pak war( No. 1 "Tigers" , No. 3 "Cobras" , No. 8 'Pursoots" , No. 31 "Lions" and No. 32 "Thunderbirds")
 
 
Installation
Warning : This is meant strictly for the Indo-Pak mod on a full SF2 merged install and it will overwrite the MystereIVa.ini file. I will not be reposible if you chose to install it over a generic install and it messes up your ini files.Should you choose to install it a non-Indo-Pak install, do so at your own risk.
 
Drop the contents of the file(Aircraft & Decals folders) in your X:\Users\YYYY\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects folder and let it overwrite (assuming yours is a Indo-Pak mod install).

This aircraft is based on the stock MiG-21MF in the sim. This is a fictional aircraft capable of carrying all modern Russian, Chinese and Indian weapons.
 
This package includes instructions to add three new nations Strike Fighters Virtual Red Air Force and Strike Fighters Virtual Blue Air Force.
 
Also included are personalized decals for SimHQ SFP1 community's members (you guys rock!!!!), Custom Ranks, Callsigns and Wingman names.
 
Extract the rar file to a temporary folder. Read the following steps for proper installation of this mod. wherever advised, please make backups of the mentioned files.
 
This package has been configured to use Mago's excellent MiG-21MF cockpit. so be sure that you have Mago's MiG-21MF cockpit.

MiG-21bis Type 75 Indian AF skin pack
 
Contains two skins - No. 3 Sqdn "Cobras" & slightly modified version oif Paulo's IAF Grey skin
 
Installation
*Requires paulo's MiG-21bis IAF mod. Also included an alternate data.ini( deleting the odd rod antennas) to make it look more like a dedicated India MiG-21bis
 
Drop contents of the file to your mod folder.

MiG-21UM Desert camo Skin No. 101 Sqdn Indian AF "Falcons"

Skin for Florian's excellent MiG-21UM model. Its a repaint of Florian's original Plain silver skin.
Just drop the 101sq_IAF folder to your MiG-21UM folder and you would be set.
