**the size of this file is very small , you have to copy texture files from the 7sq folder, as 7 sqdn and 37 sqdn flew with the same paint scheme. included in this file are 37 sq logo and 10 serial numbers.**

This skin depicts a F-6 of Pakistan AF 19 Sqdn "Warhawks" based at Mianwali Air Base.The skin is for Crab_02's F-6.

This scheme was painted on an F-6 in colours to symbolise the China-Pakistan friendship, during the F-6's retirement ceremony from PAF service at Samungli AB .
The ceremony actually served three purposes; to mark the retirement of the F-6, to welcome the F-7PG into service, and to celebrate the Sino-Pak friendship. The PAF began to rely on China for new technologies after the 1965 India-Pakistan War, when the US suspended its military aid to both countries. India turned to Russia for its arms support, while the F-6 became the first tangible evidence of Pakistan's relationship with China.

The skin is for ajunaidr's excellent F-104A Starfighter made using his templates.
Reports from Indian MiG-21-pilots that engaged PAF Starfighters in air combats on 17 December 1971 indicate that the Starfighters wore "desert camouflage". It is now well-known that a number of Starfighters from the No.9 Squadron Royal Jordanian Air Force were sent to Pakistan during this war: some of these aircraft were camouflaged, and it is now believed that the Indians on 17 December engaged these "ex-Jordanian" F-104As, shooting down two of them and one of original PAF Starfighters as well.

The IAF operates three variants of the Jaguar - Jaguar IS(GR.1), Jaguar IM(Maritime strike) and Jaguar IB(two seat Trainer ).a total of 158 Jaguars were commisioned in the IAF of which 120 were manufactured at HAL(79 IS, 29 IB, 12 IM). IAF Jaguar IBs have been converted into fully capable attack aircraft with ability to carry LGBs.
 
The Jaguar International was selected in October 1978 to fulfill the Indian Air Force's Deep Penetration Strike Aircraft(DPSA) requirement.An Initial batch of 40 aircraf twere purchased with subsequent 45 to be assembled by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Meanwhile the IAF took on loan 18 RAF Jaguars, the first two of which were handed over on July 19th, 1979. They were inducted in No.14 "Bulls" squadron to replace the ageing Hunters and Canberra bombers. The first HAL assembled Jaguar(JS136) made its maiden flight on March 31st, 1982. The first indigenous manufacture Jagaur aircaft was completed in early 1988.Jaguars were also inducted in Squadrosn No.5 "Tuskers" and No.6 "Dragons", the latter being equipped with some Jaguar IMs in anti-shipping role.The first Jaguar IM was delivered in January 1986. The maritime Jaguar is integrated with the Sea Eagle anti-ship missile. The total order of IAF is approx. 131 Jaguars which form the frontline arsenal of the IAF's armour and is expected to be in service for many more years with aircraft upgrades planned.

In the coming days, I will be releasing more Indian Su-7 & MiG-21 skins, and may be a few Pakistani skins. These were meant for the Indo-Pak mod. But since the project is a dead duck now, no point in holding these skins back on my HD.

MiG-29 Fulcrum "Baaz" Indian Republic Day Scheme Skin
 
Fictional Indian Flag Skin for Mirage Factory MiG-29A_In model. This scheme was painted on four IAF SU-30K/MKs for India's Republic Day flypast.

Mil Mi-8 Hip "Rana" Indian Air Force mod for SF2
Mil Mi-8 Rana mod based on Marcfighter's Mi-8. Package contains full aircraft, Cockpit etc for any of the Strike Fighters 2 series titles( patched upto July 2012 patch).
 
Package contains skins and decals to represent six Indian Air force Mi-8 Squadrons. Actual Indian AF Mi-8 Serial number decals of Indian AF Mi-8s also included(selectable in the loadout screen).
 
Aircraft Textures are in jpeg format to represent following Indian Air Force Mi-8 squadrons( some of which have converted to Mi-17s).
