F-15A Dark Camouflage v2.0 This is a darker colour "compass ghost" scheme for the Third Wire F-15A. Its my attempt to give the stock eagle a later more modern feel about her. Its is based on the stock TW skin at 1024 X 1024 resolution. Apologies but I haven't yet acquired the skill or accuracy to attempt anything at a higher resolution yet. Regardless I’m quite enjoying the new look. Hoping some of you might enjoy it too. :-) SF Installation NB: This requires SF2 Europe though if renamed correctly should work in SF2 Israel for the F-15A Baz. Unzip & place the objects folder directly in to your saved game / mods folder. Credits - Third Wire for the original F-15A artwork & WOI F-15A templates. - Everyone at Combat Ace for their countless contributions & pool of knowledge. P.S. I have included a list of supported stock F-15A squadrons. If like me & you are not a hardcore aviation buff, you can use it to enjoy their different markings & associated tail art for the F-15A.

Strike Fighters 2 Israel Retro Style CCIP Gunsight Mod. --------------------------------------------------------- I’m absolutely useless at bombing & rocket attacks in older aircraft with out modern avionics. I just can’t seem to get the hang of it! :-( So I have attempted to up grade the gun sights of the older a SF2 I aircraft so that they incorporate some of the modern features such as CCIP, ASE & so on. But with out losing breaking the continuity & retro look of the HUD. What dose it do? ---------------- (1). Adds CCIP & ASE For all stock player flyable aircraft that don't have a modern avionics. A-4E Ahit, (73) A-4F Ahit A-4H Ahit A-4H Ahit (70) (72) (73) F-4E_Kurnass (73) (75) (78) Nesher Shahak + (71) Installation: ------------- Place the contents of the “StrikeFighters2 Israel” folder found in this download in to your SF2 Israel Saved Game folder & overwrite when asked. Note: This will replace any modified stock COCKPIT_DATA.Ini & AVIONICS_DATA.Ini you might be using!!! This mod is compatible with my "Cockpit & Runway Lights for SF2I mod" but needs to be installed second! Known issues: ------------- Nesher: Unfortunately I have been unable to keep the beautiful arched heading scale of the Nesher in in NAV & SRM modes. So I have deleted it & replaced it with the best compromise. F-4E Kurnass: For the same reasons I have be unable to reproduce the roll tabs for the F-4E gun sight in NAV & AA modes: SRM, MRM. I’m guessing is probably something to do with the way the avionics.dll is told to read the gun sight information from the cockpit.ini. If anyone knows a workaround or a knows a solution, please let me know & I’ll update this file. Credits: -------- All credit go’s to those who took the time to share the information on editing the various entries in the DATA.Ini files on the in CombatAce & Third Wire forms. Thank you! :-) Enjoy SF
  8. Still enjoying getting reacquainted with Flaming Cliffs 2 throughly but spending most of my time getting shot down if flames or watching my wingman get the job done while if float down under parachute....... Just a tad rusty lol A few random screenshots. . . . . .
  9. A few more from FC2........... I love the crispness and clarity of this title. Even with my graphics card setting turned down considerably it still looks beautiful.
  10. Just a few randoms from the Flaming Cliffs 2 title. I know I’m a whole series behind but I’ve got it running quit nicely on my older system that struggles with the latest DCS software. Having switched to the Strike Fighters series back in 2006/7 after feeling saturated with Eagle Dynamics sims. I’ve had to spend the last few weeks trying to relearn what I’ve forgotten over the years. Its been refreshing experience and kind of nice returning to an old friend. I’ve always been a Fulcrum or Flanker man with ED sims since the Flanker 2.0/2.5 days. ( hence the nick name) Decided to give the F-15 a chance this time round and I’m loving the experience so far. If the fun continues, a new graphics card & Flaming Cliffs 3 may be on the cards for next year
  11. File Name: F-15A Dark Camouflage File Submitter: steelflanker File Submitted: 28 October 2012 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Skins F-15A Dark Camouflage v2.0 This is a darker colour "compass ghost" scheme for the Third Wire F-15A. 12. Update!v2 Camouflage pattern now follows the “compass ghost” scheme more accurately. Includes three extra skins the same style. - A std light grey - A std light blue - Dark disruptive grey to complement the original dark blue skin. NB: This update will overwrite the previous version.
  13. Supersonic! Lighting up the desert sky.........
  14. Been making a few more subtle & not so subtle changes to the F-15A’s paint work. Almost anything looks good on this gorgeous aircraft.
  15. A few more Eagle shots.............
  16. I’m not sure when they stated using the darker camouflage over the lighter gray? The camouflage pattern still follows the original, while I’ve tried to make the color tones close the what the last F-15A “AF 77-098” wore when she retired in 2009 & the richness of that beautiful F-15C we've seen in FC 3 screen shots of late. While not 100% accurate to any particular air frame I’m sure, its still passes as feasible I hope.
  17. Its the stock F-15A I’ve repainted in later style color tones. I had a go at giving a more modern feel to our Eagle......I'm quite likening so far.
  18. A lone F-15A Eagle takes to the sky's..........
