This is the age problem (no hard feelings). No not age,Fact Rock 'n' Roll was in the fifties not good. as compared to smoot sounds like doo-wop it was lol In the sixties the Beatles and than the hippies. yeah, tho the Sounds were excelent,as for hippies, they just were about as useful as whale crap... Seventies gets the diso and the eighties the punk/new wave. I dont want to recall the clothes lol..tho in the 80's madonna made a few bucks.. What about the ninties? Than you have grunge and house. I by-passed this stage, went back to ole doo-wop 'in the still of the night'..etc,even moody blues.. I don't like rap music from now, but in the eighties was it for me okay. It is to agressive now, so I do not listen to that. agressive,as in being good music to call women ho's?....as in having no knowledge of sound...

Maybe our little buds in the nkpaf or the chi-com af helped reverse engineer the birds?,or least remove/replace parts as needed?...some yrs ago the israelis did something such, they re-engined their mirages and got themselves a neat bird..

You gotta admit tho,it took big brass cojones to do it...lol you cant go on strike, you're all fired..that ought have been a good hint to daffy and his crew that this Mans MAN was not going be intimidated by anyone..yes the Man DID return Pride to the US Military, gone soon were the days of crossdecking,of hangar queens and of a military that was in a lot of ways in decline...but he did not only do that,he did it with a style and class thats rarely seen these days of 'they did it first'....Mr Regan, after your long goodbye into that dark night I Pray you are at Peace,as you touch the face of god I hope he holds you in his arms....
-
Was thinking bout that, also big brass ones,cojones..those guys(kids at the time) had it to spare!..why the nerve of taking off from a cv with army bombers...

If this doesnt work... forcibly deport them to somewhere and let somebody else deal with the prob (thats my P.C. view). it's been tried, they been kicked out of most arab countries, the jordanian king did not take it kindly when they talked about overthrowing him.... it's not that bad a situation as it might seem,if the ole head terrorist goes there might be a chance for a decent peaceful man to rise,to do what needs be done,as long as hamas, hezbollah and all the other groups have eaccces to the bekka valley and orders from the head terrorist there can be no peace.....the biggest difference between the idf and hamas etc is the idf goes out of its way to Not hurt civilians, the terrorists make it a Point to kill civvies, the more the better for them...

My wife called me and told me about the first strike,I was a bit lazy in getting up but turned on the tv to see the second human filled missile hit...I then knew it was no accident as my wife had said....said a quick prayer for our young Men and Women that I knew soon would be laying it on the line... to those innocent souls that died that day.. I know you were welcomed to fiddlers green...... to our enemies....we did come for you,we WILL continue to do so..as was said by another cowboy President of this Great and Free country, you can run but you can NOT hide...

Guns wont work on A10 and F4-G?
Scout_51 replied to wilbur's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
of course it was and they did do it.....read on... DETHLEFSEN, MERLYN HANS Rank and organization: Major (then Capt.), U.S. Air Force. Place and date: In the air over North Vietnam, 10 March 1967. Entered service at: Royal, lowa. Born: 29 June 1934, Greenville, lowa. Citation: Maj. Dethlefsen was 1 of a flight of F-105 aircraft engaged in a fire suppression mission designed to destroy a key antiaircraft defensive complex containing surface-to-air missiles (SAM), an exceptionally heavy concentration of antiaircraft artillery, and other automatic weapons. The defensive network was situated to dominate the approach and provide protection to an important North Vietnam industrial center that was scheduled to be attacked by fighter bombers immediately after the strike by Maj. Dethlefsen's flight. In the initial attack on the defensive complex the lead aircraft was crippled, and Maj. Dethlefsen's aircraft was extensively damaged by the intense enemy fire. Realizing that the success of the impending fighter bomber attack on the center now depended on his ability to effectively suppress the defensive fire, Maj. Dethlefsen ignored the enemy's overwhelming firepower and the damage to his aircraft and pressed his attack. Despite a continuing hail of antiaircraft fire, deadly surface-to-air missiles, and counterattacks by MIG interceptors, Maj. Dethlefsen flew repeated close range strikes to silence the enemy defensive positions with bombs and cannon fire. His action in rendering ineffective the defensive SAM and antiaircraft artillery sites enabled the ensuing fighter bombers to strike successfully the important industrial target without loss or damage to their aircraft, thereby appreciably reducing the enemy's ability to provide essential war material. Maj. Dethlefsen's consummate skill and selfless dedication to this significant mission were in keeping with the highest traditions of the U.S. Air Force and reflect great credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of his country. Big Brass Ones..seems the wild weasels had to wear steel braced jock-straps.... -

bet tho in r/l the pilots would have loved to be able to hose a sam site,or those pesky a/a guns......remember after firing off the harm, shrike(yeah showing my age now lol)standard arm or whatever was hanging on the pylons the bird was pretty much just a scheduled airline... -
actually some months back some guy was selling a mod that allowed one combat in fs8,dont know if it was real or a lamer tho..but I do think if we can use some of the terrain for cfs2 from flightsim 2000 then there is a way to re route stuff..of course im too dumb to figure out which files... :D

Thanks! That longer plane is an F-8 Crusader. The A-7 had the same basic shape, but they were completely different aircraft. and one reason it WAS called sluff.............
