  4. Hi there.. I have a problem regarding ranks.. My ranks changed from lt, major etc.. to pilot, sqr. leader, commander etc.. How or where can I change this back to the original names ? B.R. FooFighters

    I just figured it out.. you were right. Netherlands has a different rank list. I just created a new one with Dutch military ranks. Thanks !
  6. I have a question regarding taking off. I use the (great) F15A of Mirage factory. It's a great plane. The only I do not really like is taking of with flaps on take off. The plane just horizontally takes of, the nose stays horizontal. When it should be facing up a bit. Is it possible to change this ?

    I happens with both auto and manual, but manual is worse. When the plane reaches aprox 300 km/hr it takes off. But the plane completely stays horizontal. With all the other planes it just looks better/different. This is the same runway, same conditions.. only a Strike Eagle. I only set throttle to full.. no joystick movement what so ever.
  9. I have a small problem with mountains from far away. When the first appear in the game the are just a relief in the distance, no textures or something. See above the F14 in the middle. Can I edit flightengine.ini or another file to make this a bit nicer ? The game is SF1, and I have the problem with all terains that have hills and mountains (Desert, Vietnam, Germany etc.. ). Thanks FooFighters I use setting Far distance in the game. And I use the original flightdata.ini

Original skin by Sonny Tuckson (who doesn't like the Buck Danny comics ) and USAFMTL. The 32nd TFS was stationed on Soesterberg AFB in Holland. During the Gulf War, after more than forty years, the Wolfhounds saw action again. Aircrew and ground support personnel were deployed, during the operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM, August 1990 until March 1991, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. On January 28th 1991 one of the team members actually killed an Iraqi MiG. After the War they continued their air activities in theatre as a part of operation PROVIDE COMFORT from April 1991 until April 1993. In the spring of 1994 HQ USAF (E) received permission from HQ USAF to use the 32nd designation for the new 32d Air Operations Group. The 32d Tactical Fighter Squadron was redesigned the 32d Air Operations Squadron on 1 July 1994 following the closure of Soesterberg Air Base.   20. This F-14D was a redone F14A.. just some tweaking on the engine.. No big deal. Definetly not a "D"
  21. I am editing Burning Sands 1983 a little for personal use.. I try to change the fictional part to the Gulf war 1993. Just to get a more real life touch.. My problem is that I edited the campaign2_data file to all aircraft I have in my SF1 map. But in the campaign missions planes show up which are not in the data file.. usally it's the F104 starfighter for both Iraq and USAF. On some occasions a AN-12 cup or C130 shows up. Why is this.. all these planes are not in my data file ! I attached my campaign file for anybody who want to help. campaign_1993.txt
  22. I already checked that.. I had a Iraqi plain with soviet markings, due to that error I checked all lines. Yesterday I started a new campaign to check some things out, then all problems were sold. I think changing the data file during a campaign may gives problems... I will try a starting a new campaign tomorrow to see if all problems are solved.. then I can finally shoot down those Iraqi Mig 23 & 29's and Mirage F1' s ... I can't wait to start.
  23. Hi, Since I updated my SF1 to the latest patch I have a blue ring surrounding my plane. I can only see it in cockpit view. I also had this problem with the 3rd party Deutsland terrain. But it was solved with the flightengine file included in the download. I now only have the blue ring in the dessert terain. I also use deutsland and bombing range without any problems. (both terrain does not use animated water) Anybody got a clue what can cause this ? FooFighters
