  1. "Civilian" Gas Truck

    Civilian Fuel Truck
    = SF/Wo* & SF2 series Games (Any and All!) =

A simple repaint of the stock Zil Fuel truck into something more 'civilian' looking for use around airports and such like. The templates are supplied (they're 1024x, so easy to work with) to allow other skinners the opportunity to create other skins. Also supplied, is a red Phillips 66 skin, easily swapped.

The inis supplied herein are in ANSI format, allowing for use in both 1stGen SF/Wo* and SF2 series.

See the 'To Install' section below for more notes, and how to add to Terrains as a seperate item via _types and _targets editing.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! They'll all add a little color to an otherwise drab setting.

    Happy Gassing!

  2. "Waterworld" Terrain

    "Waterworld" Terrain for SF2

    Full-4 Merged (Reccomened) and/or SF2:V

Just a bit of silliness. I was asked to create a 'quick and dirty' mostly ocean terrain by Fubar512, so he could test some ship mods. This is it. Just a little something fun, and slightly different. Yes, there are Easter Eggs. In fact, the WHOLE map is an Easter Egg!

This terrain contains 2 land-airfields (one for each side) and 6 CV stations; 3 each for Blue and Red. I made use of the "Allowed Missions" statement, so you won't be seeing any CAS or Armed Recons (with no place to drive too...well, you get the idea). Plenty of shipping routes, however.

No tiles (excepting one special, and one for use with GH3) are included with this, but it uses the VietnamSEA tile set, as pointed to via the 'use this cat' statement in the terrain's main ini. If one wished to, you can easily just drop Stary's GH3 set, or any other Vietnam-named tiles directly into the terrain folder. Once the terrain has it's own internal tileset, you can use any cat pointer =EXCEPT= the IsrealME.cat.

The cities on the map have the minimal amounts of targets possible ... this is more for those liking to keep their feet wet. Also, you might just want to consider this terrain a "myth-mash" (see notes below). Bonus point awarded to ID the source of several of the place names.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you read the document through after unzipping before installing. As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading.

    Happy Swimming!

  3. "What If..." 2011 MiG-21MFU (Upgrade), New Iraqi Air Force

"What If..." MiG-21MF(U), New Iraqi Airforce for SF2

    =For SF2, Any and All (but Full-4 Merged Prefered/Reccomended*)

*Note: should work in any install with access to the MiG-21MF lods. Which, iirc, are available in all versions*

While doing research for the "Operation Darius" mod, I came across some statments about rebuilding the New IrAF, possibly using upgraded/updated/rebuilt versions of many that were outside Iraq when OIF kicked off. This mod is the result, albeit beyond speculation, into the realms of pure fantasy.

This assumed (oh! that word!) that the GoI chose to refurbish 18 MiG-21MFs that were in Serbia in 2003 to modern 21st Century capabilities. Think along the lines of the Mig-21-93, Lancer or even closer, the HAL-built Bison for the Indian AF. These aircraft would be used for border security, in-country airspace control, ground support and martime strike. If required.

This aircraft has a modern HUD, TEWS, full avionics suite with multi-mode AA and AG radars, and a defensive pak with jammers and expendable decoys (ie: chaff and flares). It's speced/cleared for weapons of NATO, French and US origins, as well as being able to (re)use old Soviet/WarPac munitions. Offensive weapons mounts carry standard IRMs and medium range radar guided missiles (Magics and R-530F)
This mod also makes use of dtmdragon's 'generic' RWR listing, so make sure you have that installed and updated. As expected, the canopy operates via manual animation keystroke, the ever popular Shift/0.

All new serial numbers using the 2010-stle 'YI' codes have been created, as is the new IrAF insigina (same as the new flag). This is the same prefix code now seen on NIrAF C-130s, Cessna 182s, various helicoptors, and T-6A Texan IIs now in service.
2 versions of the insignia are included; one is full color, the other a Low-Viz version. It's set for the full color now, but you can switch it, if wanted, by a simple edit of the decals.ini.

No weapons are included (other than a "new" 2-IR mount); they are either stock, from pre-existing mods and/or reference those from the GunnyPak.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The usual "Notes" section for other interestering details and stuff, explinations, and general musings and things.

  4. "What If..." RAF Eagle FGR.1

McD/Boeing RAF Eagle FGR.1 Mod for WoE ONLY!!

    Another "What If..."
This is a package of ini and skin (well, decals, anyway) mods for the stock F-15A that comes with WoE. It creates a new aircraft, for use by the Royal Air Force.

    From the ReadMe:

    = TO INSTALL:

It IS suggested that you have the latest weapons pak installed to get the maximum use out of the available weapons capabilities....but this is easily changed to use the "stock" non-modifed weapons. More on that later....

== REMEMBER: This mod is for use in WOE -ONLY!!!- as all the parts ONLY exist there ==
--- Also -- this if for the STOCK 3rd Wire F-15A ONLY - NOT the MF version ---
REMEMBER -- this is NOT a full aircraft, and you MUST have Wings Over Europe to make use of this aircraft mod.

When you unzip to a temp directory, a new "Eagle_FGR1" folder will be created. In it you'll find everything you need to just copy/paste this new bird into your /objects/aircraft folder. Including all the modified stock inis and new damage tgas, somehow overlooked, which are also usable on the standard WoE F-15A. But you'r not ready to fly yet.....

All the cockpit files, cockpit ini, etc, are making use of ALL the stock WoE bits. They are NOT included, but the ini is (to make your life a little easier; & cause I forgot to remove it!)

You'll find a bunch of inis, bmps, tgas, whathave you for this install. The data ini has had the NationName= set to "RAF", so when you fly you'll get RAF medals, and have British flightmates. The loadout has also been adjusted to use UK and USAF weapons.

Just about all types of weapons are loadable, most particulary EOGB, ASM, ARM, EOGR, TV guided missiles, iron bombs and CBUs. The aircraft is NOT equiped with a laser designator, so LGBs are not an option.

REMEMBER -- this is NOT a full aircraft, and you MUST have Wings Over Europe to make use of this aircraft mod.

You'll have the skin folders; "RAF" which just contains a few decals and inis -- you'll need to transfer over the 6 skin bmps from your stock WOE F-15A, as these are reused. In fact, even the decals are the stock ones, just desaturated by me to give them that 'lo-viz' look. The RAF serials are also stock in-game from the F-4M Phantom. They may not be historically correct (yeah, like anything in this mod IS???), but they fit into the era, and look nice.

-getting the point?? this is for WoE ONLY -- I will not violate copyright and upload files that at not leagle to share. --

There are further, more detailed instructions for those without the weapons pak -- folks, I spent a lot of time on the readme (actually, more on that than modding the bird!!!), so for the love of flying, I beg you -PLEASE- read it!!

With thanks to all the other crazies out there like me that just can't leave a good thing alone!
    Take that Fighter Mafia!!!

  5. "What If..." USAF F-36A 'Typhoon'

USAF F-36A Typhoon / Eurofighter 2000 for WoI --ONLY--

This little package contains some inis and a re-decaling of the original RAF skin for something that could be used by the United States Air Force, in a 'What If...' world. I've called it the "F-36A Typhoon", following the projected Next Numbered Fighter. It represents aircraft from the 366th TFW, Mountain Home AFB.

Weapons loadout have been "Americanized", so make sure you have the latest, modern weapons in you weapondsdata.ini. If you're using a WoI'ed version of the Bunyap Pak, you'll have no problems. If you are using a WoI'ed version of TMFs pak, I've included weapons for you to transfer over.

This is NOT a complete pak; you WILL be transfering most of the original parts from the EF2000 to the "F-36A". A complete "Parts List" is below in the Install Instructions. This is only a minimal pak, containing 3 inis, some original (CraigB & Sundowner) skin bits, and new decals. This was done purposefully to keep the d/l size to a minium (as most folks already have the basic aircraft).

REMEMBER: THIS IS FOR WoI ONLY -- SF/WoV/WoE USERS WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE MODIFICATIONS TO THE AVIONICS INI AS LISTED IN MANY THREADS HERE AT COMBATACE.
(Or, just wait for the expected patch to arrive -- "in 2 weeks" --- )

==YOU MUST HAVE THE WOI WEAPONS EDITOR==

Full, detailed, step-by-step instructions are in the included readme -- I've made them as simple to follow as possible! So, PLEASE, read the thing???

  6. "What If..." Vampire F Mk.III

For the "What If..." world of SWOTL2 WW2:1946
Mod of Pasko's Vampire FB 5 into an earlier F.3 version, had an improved version been rushed into production. A semi-complete aircraft mod, it contains nearly everything needed to fly.
NOTE: there are NO lod files in this package -- you will be transfering them from the Vamp 5. I do not feel it is correct to include the aircraft model.
This package contains all the inis, skin, decals and a new cockpit based off of Kesselbrut's Spitfire. Several of the gauges have been relabeled for jet usage. While not 100% accurate, it is a 'closest, best fit' for the bird. New damage tgas are also included.

PLEASE READ THE ENCLOSED README FOR FULL, DETAILED INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS!!! You also must have the latest WepPak installed for the WW2 era weapons.

    With thanks to all involved!

  7. "What If.." Fw-190AT (KM)

Focke Wulf Fw-190AT, Carrier-Based "What If..." for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 Installs:

This is a semi-complete aircraft mod based on Wolf257's FW-190A, converting it into a 'What If" version hypothetically used by the Kriegs Marine on it's aircraft carriers.

I say 'semi-complete', because as per Wolf's wishes, the aircraft lod is NOT included. You'll have to copy it over from one of the other FWs.

This skin has new, redrawn panel and rivet lines -- to which I claim NO historical accuracy! I don't know enough about the Luftwaffe (or especially in the un-real Kreigs Marine version) markings and such; so accept them for what they are, just eye candy.
You also get new Luftwaffe-style outlined aircraft number decals (by me!), and a nice KM nose badge decal as well.

The camo pattern is pretty much standard RLM colors, splinter type. The other markings are all from my rather vivid imagination; as these aircraft never existed (and could probably NEVER be made into a fully navalized version), I ask that you all accept this is the spirt it engenders ... pure fun and a little exploration in the "What If..." realms of the Second World War.

PLEASE read the read me for further, detailed instructions. There's also a "Fictional Historical Notes" section that might be fun to read!

  8. "What If" WGAF A-4E Skyhawk

West German Luftwaffe A-4E Skyhawk for SF, WoV & WoE:

This is a mod the stock 3rd Wire A-4E Skyhawk joining the ranks of "What If..." they had been purchased by the West German Air Force, to replace their Fiat G-91s while awaiting the arrival of the Tornado IDS, in the light to medium attack/strike role. (due to 'unforseen delays' in the Toros)

I feel an aircraft like the Scooter is almost perfect for the European environment: light, fast, manuverable, good weapons fits, easy to fly and maintain, survivable, etc.
Did I mention it was fun to fly???

This is a full aircraft mod tested in SF, WoV, and totally designed for WoE.
This aircraft is designed with the latest Weapons Pak in mind, and has had it's loadouts adjusted accordingly.
I also 'split' the hardpoints, to allow for asymetrical loads on the outboard pylons.
It uses the stock A-4F cockpit (supplied via the cat file! - saves on space in the d/load)

I've also repainted the stock gunsight tga, by making in a brighter yellow. Makes it easier to see for us old folks ;)
Also, it is reccomened that you grab 'Range Counter Fix' for the Skyhawks. .
There's also a real nice 'photoreal' cockpit upgrade for F model Scooters.
Both are available here at CombatAce ... I reccomend them!

This is version 2 of this mod, as there were some issues I need to fix, and had relased the other before total completion.
If you d/led the original, I suggest deleting it and getting this upgraded version. Sorry for the inconvience

Skin created using stock 3rd Wire templates.
Camo pattern by Gramps; modified for European-style colors (thanks Richard!!)

  10. 11 Sentai Ki-43iib Oscar Skin Set

Nakajima Ki-43 "Oscar", Skin , For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs

This package contains a reskin of Wolf257's Ki-43 'Oscar'. It is specifically designed for use on the Ki-43iib mod I released last year . Again, this skin is for Wolf's Oscar =ONLY= , and will absolutely NOT work on ArmorDave's version
You MUST have the Wolf's "WW2 Planes Pak", AND my Ki-43iib mod to install this to. Both are available at CombatAce.

The skin is based off the original IJAAF Natural Metal and Camos, and was built from a new template created off the original skins. All new panel, rivet lines, and other details were drawn by me. The tail Chutai marking is a decal.

It represents aircraft of 11 Sentai, 2 Chutai during early 1942 through early 1943 timeframe, as seen over Malaya, Dutch East Indies (or NEI) and New Gueina. 2 other chutai tail makings have been supplied for those wishing to create the full Sentai. (full instructions are below in the "To Create The Full Sentai" section)

-= NOTE: You MUST have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
--= NOTE: You MUST have Wolf257's Ki-43 (and my Ki-43IIb mod) to install this pakage into (duh!!) and =--
    - This mod has ONLY been tested in SF, WoV and WoE. This mod is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 style install of WoI, as it handles prop flight models in "an extreamly odd way".-

It is HIGHLY suggested that you read the enclosed readme COMPLETLY THROUGH before installing this pak; this will help you during the install process, blah, blah, blah, Notes and Comments section, and of course, etc.

  11. 112 Sqdn RAF Sabre skin

Canadair CL-13 Sabre (RAF Sabre Mk.4) 112 Squadron skin set

For SF, WoV & WoE Cold War installs

What we have here is a skin representing RAF 112 Squadron, circa 1954-ish when they were equipped with the Canadair-built Sabres. They only used them for a short time, while awaiting the arrival of the new Hawker Hunter or Supermarine Swift.

This skin set is particularly designed to add on to the RAF Sabre 4 mod I released some time ago, but can be used on any of the Canadair Sabres by Zur and Co.

You'll also find another folder "misc-cockpit stuff" that has an updated cockpit ini and new gunsight tgas for use on the aforementioned RAF Sabre 4 mod. The cockpit ini also incorporates the fix for the EGT gauge.

  12. 112 Squadron Tomahawk Mk.1

Curtiss-Wright Tomahawk, #112 Squadron, RAF, Western Desert, circa 1941

For SF, WoV & WoE MTO installs

What we have here is a skin representing RAF 112 Squadron as seen in Libya & Egypt during mid-late 1941. The serial numbers are actual numbers assigned by the RAF to their Tomahawks, some of which were (hopefully) assigned to 112's actual aircraft. ;)

This is an update/upgrade to the original I released last year. This version is weathered, has rivets, staining, and a few other goodies, including new Squadron call letters and aircraft ID letters, in what I hope is the correct font.

I claim no historical or mechanical accuracy as to the rivet placement; I'd originally started the project as an experiment to learn HOW to make rivets, and it sort of took off on it's own (pardon the pun)

Also included is a new ring-and-bead gunsight (made by ME!!), and a modified cockpit ini to use.

Full install instructions are in the readme.

  13. 12 Squadron Wellington, Skin & Ini Pak

Vickers Wellington, Skin and Ini Update Pak -For SF/WoV/WoE ETO Installs-

Some small ini mods and a new skin (from a completely new template) for Veltro2K's RAF medium bomber.

New, modified inis include the data ini with additional and corrected lighting and bomb bay tweeks (which will allow the loading of the 2000 & 3000 lb "Cookie" bombs), and the cockpit ini with repositioned pilot station. The aforementioned lighting additions include landing, various formation and marker lights.
    The Flight Model remains untouched!

The skin represents 12 Squadron, approx late 1940/early 1941 time frame, after their return from the Battle of France, and trading in their Fairey Battles for Wellingtons. This skin, from a totally NEW template by me, is based off the solid UV maps so graciously provided by Veltro2k (thanks Ed!!!). The trademark 'geodesic' lines I've tried to duplicate as best as possible. The Serial number decals for 26 aircraft are also new. I cannot claim as high a historical accuracy as I'd like, having only found actual proof for 4 aircraft of 12 Squadron (B,C,R,V). The other serials were assigned to Wellingtons, I'm just not sure of their operational squadron usage.

The new templates are available upon request.

=This mod is designed for use with the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06, as it contains all the needed weapons . If attempting to use this aircraft with any other weapons pak, you'll need to add ALL the WW2 era guns, bombs, torpedoes, etc. They are NOT included in this package.=

As expected, there's a nice detailed readme for you all to NOT ignore... so, give a good once over, huh?

  14. 3 More Airbase "Equipments"

    More Airbase Goodies
    = SF/Wo* & SF2 series Games (Any and All -hopefully*!) =

A few more pieces of equipment, to place around airfields or bases, or other 'locations of interest'. The items are:

Bulldozer (-original creator unknown, as it comes from waay back on the WW2 terrains)
    Road Grader
    Steamroller (these 2 by Sundowner)

It should be noted at this time, these are NOT GroundObjects, like the yellow fuel truck recently released, but TERRAIN objects, that will need hand placement on your terrain of choice. Instructions are below in the "To Add To A Terrain" section.

As always, fairly easy to follow (for Terraformers/Targeteers), yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

*note: as the grader and roller have been built in late model MAX, they may not work in SF/Wo* games. This has NOT been tested*

  16. 368th FS P-47D skin and ini mods

New, somewhat accurate skin for Wolf's Bubbletop Jug, representing 368th FS, ETC circa late 44/early 45-ish. I say 'representative', as I didn't do any real research, other than squadron code letters and nose color. I just wanted a natural metal Jug that wasn't from the 56th FG, and this was fairly easy to do.

  17. 3rd Wire A-1H/A-1J Template Set

This is my template set for the STOCK 3rd Wire A-1H & A-1J Skyraiders.

These are multi layered Photoshop format (PSD) templates for the three main maps

    body
    left_wing
    tail

the templates are 2048 x 2048. there is also a "nodes" map for each, to assist in finding the little odd bits.

the right wing is mapped identically to the left, so the only difference would be for camoflague patterns.
All my myriad layers are intact, which explains the HUGE size of each of them. You may keep or discard those layers that you don't need as you see fit (many are experiments for a mod that fell through)

Somehow or another, these slipped my notice, and should have been uploaded a looooong time ago.

Layered Templates for Stock 3rdWire F-16A "Netz"
These are the PSD templates that I created from the stock bitmaps for the Netz from SF2:I.

These are NOT hi-rez, but only 1024 x 1024 maps. You can experiment with upsizing, but I personally feel that 1024 is perfect 'in middle' size, that looses no detail in game, and will keep frame rates smooth. (after all, the game engine WILL resize to fit)

Feel free to make changes, repaint -the purpose of the upload- and correct any/all errors that I may have induced. Remember, folks, I ain't Sundowner, so things won't be as pretty has his!! (Ant being the Skinning Deity)

I've left ALL my 'working' layers intacat, so there's undoubtedly a bunch of stuff you won't be needed there. Also included are templates for the pylons and drop tanks.

  20. 3rd Wire Parking Enforcement Vehicle

3rd Wire Productions, Parking Enforcement Vehicle

    = For SF/WoV/WoE/WoI and all SF2 games =

This is a modification of RussoUK's VW 'Follow Me' van into a, well, "ticket tagger".

What started out as a joke in the SF2 forums, about not having enough parked aircraft; someone had made a comment about "maybe they'd been towed away for illeagly parking", grew into this little mod.
It still uses the basic yellow/black checkerboard skin, with the addition of 'identifer placards' on the roof, front, back and sides of the vehicle. Yes, the front ID Placard IS supposed to reversed, just as one sees on other Emergency Vehicles.

The vehicle's nationality has been set to "GENERIC", so it can be used by both sides. It's GroundObjectRole has also been set to TRANSPORT, which will allow it to show up on ARMED_RECON missions. If this is unwanted, I'd reccomend changing it to RECON, in the data ini.

Fairly simple install instruction are included; with data for Terrain builders as well, on how to include them scattered around maps as sort of an 'Easter Egg'.

Have fun with it!! And remember the 3W Parking Enforcement Bureau's Mottos:
    "Move It, Or Lose It"

and, BTW, the fines associated with the ticket and towing are EXPENSIVE!!! They go up with the size of the aircraft towed. Plus storage....

    Enjoy!

  22. 3rdW A-1H Skin and Ini Update Pak

A-1H "Skyraider" Skin and Ini Update Pak

    -- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:V =ONLY!!! --

This package contains inis, full skin and decals sets, a few weapons and a complete cockpit, to make the stock AI-only A-1H "Skyraider" flyable. While the cockpit is not 100% correct (or, more truthfully, close), it does have all the gauges working as they would be in a propeller aircraft. Until such time a a proper AD-6/7 (or A-1H/A-1J) pit arrives, this WILL have to suffice.

Ini edits include some enhanced AI statements, corrected ammo counts, fuel quantity, on-board countermeasures (chaff and flares for Vietnam era usage) the addition of the running/formation lights on the tail, a landing light, and a working canopy (use Shift/0 to open and close). Wingfold is NOT activated, due to odd movement and placement issues with the outer wing stores locations. At some point in the future, I'll try and get them dailed in properlly, so the wingfold will work and the weapons follow the wing. A new 300 gallon drop tank has also been included, as the LOD lacks the nodes for built-in drop tanks as seen on other SF2 aircraft (even though called out in the data ini, it just ain't there!). A new SF2-style hangar screen, and an new loading screen are also included. Almost all decals are new, with correct Modex, squadron codes and BuNums. It should be noted, that in Vietnam era squadrons (and possibly before) most Skyraider units used a mix of AD-6/7 (or A-1H/J after 1961), so these may not be fully historical, as the BuNums reflect only the one type (AD-6 or A-1H) per squadron. But the BuNums ARE 100% accurate for the models they indicate; and in the cases where photos or profile were available, the actual aircraft represented.

Skins included in this set are:

VA-35 "Black Panthers",USS Saratoga, Med Cruise, 7/1958 (possibly during the Beirut Crisis)

VA-85 "Black Falcons", USS Forrestal, 1962 (also possibly on a Med Cruise)

VA-176 "Thunderbolts", USS Intrepid, Vietnam War (1st SEA cruise, before the famous "bee and lightning bolt" added)

VMA-331 "Killer Bees", circa 1956-59, before transfering to Skyhawks. This one's for Gunny!

The new "A-1H.ini" has been edited to move these new skins to the top, and the original 3W "USNGray1" and "USAFCAmo1" to the bottom, making it easier to select these USN/USMC marked skins.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/uses, to make it a LOT easier to install.

  24. 3rdW P-51 Decals and Ini Tweek Pak

3rd Wire SF2 P-51D, USAF Decal Fix, and Data ini Tweeks

    =For SF2, Full-4 Merged Installs and/or SF2:I, with Expansion Pak 1=

This VERY small mod to the P-51D from SF2 Expansion makes a couple of changes to the stock USAFSilver1 skin, adding the tail tag to the vert fin, and NationName to the wings, as is Historically Correct ™ after October, 1947.

The data ini tweeks add a landing light, the 3 formation lights under the starboard wing, and activate the canopy via a manual animation key (shift/0).

A ww2 pilot figure is included, as I used this figure in the data ini. More appropriate figures would be either of Deigo's USAF50s figures, as by 1948, USAF pilots had done way with the soft leather helmets, and were using the new 'bone domes'. These ARE reccomended replacements.

Full, easy to follow instructions are included. You =WILL= be adding a new pilot folder, and a new sub-folder to the game's main /Decals folder for the "U.S. AIR FORCE" tail tag decal.
As always, it's reccomended you read this document through before installing. It's actually QUITE simple, for a change!! <grin>

    Happy Landings!

  25. 3W A-6E TRAM Upgrade Kit

    A-6E TRAM (aka "A-6E_79) Skin/Ini UPgrade Pak
    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged Required; and/or SF2:NA -ONLY!!- =

Again, as stated above this is for the stock 3rdWire A-6E_79 ONLY!! If you do not possess SF2NA, DO NOT download this mod, as you will NOT be able to use it.

Some adjustments, tweeks and General Fiddling With ™ for the new SF2NA A-6E TRAM. The package includes a new skin, in Lo-Viz Gray for VA-75 "Sunday Punchers", circa 1990s

Several inis are included (data, loadout, avionics, main ini*), but NO COCKPT or cockpit ini is included -- you must locate and install these yourselves! The data and loadout inis have been adjusted to include LGB capabilities, a built in laser designator. Wingfold and canopy operation are controled via manual animation keys. Wingfold uses the Shift/9 and the canopy the Shift/0 keystrokes.
I've included a main ini, with the cockpit line left blank, so you can insert whichever cockpit ini name you're using. Weapons (in particular the Navy GBU-10D_N is NOT supplied. It comes from the GunnyPak, so having that would be good idea....)

New Hangar & Loading screen are included, as is a new loadout.tga for use on the Loadout Screen. The Loading Screen is actually a jpg conversion of the original 1stGEn bmp for the old TRAM.

The new skin was created from a "Home Grown Templates" ™, with many new decals. Others are stock items. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. The skin is "clean", as all markings are decals, making it a simple matter to create other squadron users. (the mid-fueslage slimer is part of the skin map)
A "StartDefaultDate=" line was NOT added, as doing so would limit you to ONLY this one skin (locking out the Gull Gray/White skins). As more Lo-Viz skins are created, it's reccomended that the actual transistion to Lo-Viz year be discovered, and added to this and any subsuquent new skins. A simple text edit of the textureset ini and adding said line to this skin's listing the A-6E_79.ini.
On the Numbers.lst, those Modex marked with a star (*) have their actual BuNums when assigned to this squadron. The others, rest assured, ARE real A-6E BuNums.

The templates will be uploaded seperately to the SF2/Tools & Utililties section in the Combat Ace Downloads.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! In fact, it's reccomened (read: REQUIRED!!, you read this document through before installing to you Mods Folder)
The Notes section contains further details, descriptions, elightenments, illuminations, and so forth. Be good to read them, too.

    Happy Landings!

(*=my PatenPending "One Click Restoration Main Ini" is NOT included, due to cockpit use choices. I'd suggest you make one, after installation, as per the tutorial at

    http://combatace.com/topic/55746-patching-made-easy-part-deux/

    That should get you started...)
