  1. Alternative F-4G(B) skin

    Hi,

Just something I whipped up real fast after I saw the loading screen of the renewed F-4G (65-66 USN)...
I noticed it wasn't overall green, but resembled the lizard scheme very much. So I fiddled around with
some different available skins (I think the lizard skin is TW and other parts came from the green standard skin of the aircraft)
and quickly made this to add some variation in an almost real life manner...

Credits and thanks to Wrench and Kevin Stein for the F-4G USN

  2. Croatian Air Force MiG-21SM/MF

    A skin set for Russouk2004's Croatian MiG-21SM/MF òr 5tipe's MiG-21bisD.

Two silver/grey skins for the early starting days of the Croatian Air Force (1991-ish),
and two camo skins for the 1993+ period. Serials are used from Russouk2004's
MiG-21SM/MF, so keep that in mind.

If you want to use it for 5tipe's BisD, rename all skin files from "MF" to "BIS".

    Enjoy!

    Thanks to:

    - Russouk2004 for his MiG-21SM/MF_Croat.
    - 5tipe for his MiG-21BisD.
    - Unknown for the LSK camo skin I used. Let me know!

  3. Il-28 DDR Luftstreitkräfte

    Hi pilot!

For your Cold War games I have remade (original was for SF1)
    two skins representing 9aircraft of the Luftstreitkräfte (of the DDR);
a silver one (standard) and a camouflaged one. The serials are the
correct ones for the normal bomber version.
Note! The included camouflage skin was only applied on ONE
LSK Il-28, being number 208. Nonetheless I have included it
with ability to carry all numbers.
Drag and drop in your SF folder.... ready!

    Hope you like it!

  4. Tu-22, 341 TBAD

Skin of a Tupolev Tu-22P Blinder-E of the 341st TBAD, Strategic Air Force.
Particular aircraft flew in this livery in Afghanistan between
    October 1988 and January 1989.

This skin is meant for the standard TW Tu-22, although with a bit of renaming it
can easily be used for all variants except the swingwing Ms.

I hope this skin gives the boring silver Blinders a bit more oomph. Just drop the
objects folder in your standard SF2 folder.

    Enjoy!

  7. New Libyan insignia and Nations entry

As of the end of October 2011 Libya is without its dictator
and a free nation. In Malta, a Mirage F.1 was revealed recently, sporting
a new roundel combined with the old flag of red over black over green
with the white moon and star. this is an effort to recreate that particular
set of new markings, together with a new nations.ini entry.

Hope you'll enjoy the new Libyan insignia!

  8. F-8H Philippine Air Force

Besides the US Navy, the US Marines and the French Navy a third customer used the famous Gunfighter.
The Philippines bought about 35 secondhand F-8H from the US Navy storages, of which 10 would serve as parts donors.
All these Saders were in fact refurbished F-8D's. Here's a couple with incorrect tail numbers (sorry) from the 7th TFS.

  9. Green Portuguese Gina

Although not an Italian or German skin, it is an Italian plane, so I thought
this to be the right place.

    A Fiat G.91R-4 from Esquadra 121, based at BA12 - Bissau / Bissalanca in the period 1973 - 1974.
After the PAIGC started using SA-7 Strela MANPADs the FAP camouflaged its Fiats in this dark green 'anti-radiation' paint,
developed by personnel of the OGMA (Oficina Geral de Material Aeronautico) facilities in Portugal. This camouflage was to
become widespread between all aircraft used in the Portuguese colonies in the mid-1970s.

Just a quick job I did, hope you like it. Maybe not completely the right tone of green, but it's better than nothing right?!

  11. Early camouflaged F-80, korea.

    Hi!

I realised the green skin for the F-80 needed a bit of TLC,
so I fiddled aroud and made this one.
I guess the original was from Pappy, but I don't know...
I just altered it and used the serial numbers which were already
    present; I merged the two.
So, kudo's for all who made the plane and skins possible!

  12. Sri Lanka Air Force MiG-27M

A new skin for the MiG-27M made by lindr2,
an all grey one from the SLAF.
The Sri Lanka Air Force acquired about 10
of these mud movers. In their battle against Tamil Tigers
a couple were lost, and another 4 were bought from
the Ukraine. In service, all national insignia were
very small, and a serial was stencilled on the tail.

  14. Honduran Air Force Sa'ar, IDF/AF camo

Again another creation out of the ordinary!
The Sa'ar (a modified Super Mystère) was delivered
from Israel to Honduras in the late seventies. The
bird flew in original "café au lait" for a while before
a low visibility paint was applied. This one is the original
version still in IDF/AF camo. The serials are correct for the type.
    Enjoy!

    Hi!

Another quicky. Representing a VQ-1 bird
with NO serial numbers but with double digit
nose numbers, the EP-3E is a rare bird. The USN
has 11 of them, divided between VQ-1 and VQ-2.
Not (yet) included in the EP-3E beta package.
    Enjoy the nice target!

PS:Thanks to Hntrfxr whose basic skin I used as a basis.

PPS:The decals file doesn't have to be changed when applied
to the CP-140, but adjustments in name are needed when
    using it for a P-3.

as the Cambodian government wasn't able to pay the

    There are two:

-camo DDR with numbers 338 and 311 (338 was the ONLY
Delfin to operate in camo colours, the 311 was painted after being
put up as a gateguard at Bautzen AFB and is now in the Berlin
    Air Force museum.)
