  1. Mirage 2000-5, ROCAF

    Hello fellow aviators!

First customised skin for the ROCAF Mirage 2000-5!
With permission I used the skin included with the airplane
and I created a set of accurate serials. There are eight in total, ranging from EI04 (2004) to EI46 (2046).
To avoid a certain glitch in the tail I had to place the serial a bit more forward
than it uses to be but it is not disturbing. Also I have toned down the insignia
to a more appropriate low visibility format (as seen in photos).

    Go fly!

Thanks to IAFMars, YEYEYE and Erwin_Hans for the Mirage,
thanks to IAFMARS for the basic skin!

  2. Koninklijke Luchtmacht Meteor F.4, 322 Sqn

    Hi,

In my effort to create a Dutch Meteor skin I have tried to recreate
I-69, one surviving Meteor F.4 in the Netherlands.
Although I have tried to be accurate, the result is far from it...
the "Polly" decal on the tail should be above the horizontal stabilizer
but I couldn't figure out how the skin was pasted on the model.
The end result is this, and I am pleased with it.
So it is NOT 100% accurate, but it IS a Dutch Meteor!

PS: also thanks to Kirsten for the roundel advice, roundel shrunk a little.

  3. Royal Dutch Airforce Hunter F. Mk.4 (mod)

This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu which were
stationed in Papua New Guinea in the early sixties. It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings
of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges.
The tail represents the PNG flag.

    Enjoy this handsome one!

(Thanks Sundowner for the use of the basic Hunter skin!)

PS: This skin is to be used for AD's Hunter F.6, so NOT for the standard Hunter FGA in WOE!!

  4. Leeuwarden based KLu Hunter F.4 (mod)

This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu. This one was one of several
stationed at airbase Leeuwarden and was part of 630 squadron when they were still
flying aircraft instead of doing airbase security.
It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges.

  5. Iraqi green camo

By request; the Tu-16 in Iraqi colours.
One of two (the other in desert) I found somewhere on the net,
so note: I DID NOT CREATE THEM MYSELF!
Only thing I did was adjust the decal package to go with the
recent WOI system. In WOV/WOE you need to replace the
serials with the ones common to those games.
Hope you enjoy it, cudo's for the original creator!

PS: Not sure, but skin most probably made by Phantuam.
    (as noted by jarhead1, thanks!)

  7. MiG-29 Fulcrum-C, Democratic People's Republic of Korea

    Hi!

    Something quick; a skin of a MiG-29 Fulcrum-C
of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).
As far as I know they use the two digit red stencilled numbers on a basic camo
skin of which the darker grey is being replaced by a more darkish green/grey colour.
This is the result. Nice targets for your ROKAF aircraft!

  8. Defenders of the Alps

    Hi fellow aviator!

Another Hunter skin, exotic one from a "late" user.

Switzerland used the Hunters in this livery, these planes representing
a batch of 8 from the 20 Staffel. these all were from the first 100 delivered, being Mk.58s. Later
ones were Mk.58As and were numbered in the 41xx series.

Thanks to Sundowner, Gramps, Diego, Marcelo and David for their original work on
    plane and skins!

    NOTE: ONLY for Armourdave's Hunter F.6 !!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Early camouflaged F-80, korea.

    Hi!

I realised the green skin for the F-80 needed a bit of TLC,
so I fiddled aroud and made this one.
I guess the original was from Pappy, but I don't know...
I just altered it and used the serial numbers which were already
    present; I merged the two.
So, kudo's for all who made the plane and skins possible!

  10. Croatian Air Force MiG-21SM/MF

    A skin set for Russouk2004's Croatian MiG-21SM/MF òr 5tipe's MiG-21bisD.

Two silver/grey skins for the early starting days of the Croatian Air Force (1991-ish),
and two camo skins for the 1993+ period. Serials are used from Russouk2004's
MiG-21SM/MF, so keep that in mind.

If you want to use it for 5tipe's BisD, rename all skin files from "MF" to "BIS".

    Enjoy!

    Thanks to:

    - 5tipe for his MiG-21BisD.
    - Unknown for the LSK camo skin I used. Let me know!

  12. Hawker Sea Fury FB.51, MLD 860 Sqn

    Hello all,

Again a release of a Dutch paint job, I have used a skin by Tim Canada.
The Hawker flew with the Dutch for a while. The aircraft of 860 Sqn
were recognisable by their orange spinner and were stationed on
the aircraft carrier HMS Karel Doorman for a while.
The number 6 stands for the letter F, while this is the 6th letter
in the alphabet (! Yep, some creative thinking there) and it stands
for fighter or fighter-bomber. Other aircraft were stencilled with
the number 10, being the 10th letter (J meaning "jager" meaning fighter)
but I think these were all from 3 Sqn recognisable by a white spinner.
These were land based at naval airbase Valkenburg (close to Katwijk).
    For now, enjoy!

PS: Thanks for letting me alter your fantastic skin, Tim Canada!

  13. "Yak-12" from the movie Jet Pilot.

Just a little tribute to an unknown jewel on the silver screen.
A black painted T-33 skin from the movie "Jet Pilot".
    <a href="http://"http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050562/"" target="_blank">http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050562/</a>

In the movie "Jet Pilot" by Howard Hughes John Wayne is a
USAF pilot in a Sabre intercepting a black "Yak-12". He says
a moment later that is surprisingly looks like their T-33.... blablabla
for the rest of the (romantic) story......
It is a very nice movie made between 1950 and 1957 with a very
    nice plane line-up:
    F-86, F-89, F-94, B-50, B-36, X-1, T-33.
All "enemy" fighters in this movie were painted grey and black,
so you can see F-86's and a F-89 in black, as is the T-33.

With many thanks to Column5, Gramps and Pasko who created
    this T-33.

    Enjoy!

In my second effort to create a Dutch Meteor skin I have tried to recreate

Although I have tried to be accurate, the result is far from it...

So it is NOT 100% accurate, but it IS a Dutch Meteor!

  15. P-51D of the RNEIAF, 1948-1950

    Hi,

    Another experiment.
    This skin represents H-325, a P-51D Mustang of the RNEIAF;
the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force which operated from
    their colony.
Several of the Dutch Mustangs were later put into AURI (later TNI-AU)
service and partially retained their serial number.

In WW2 this machine started as H3-625 (USAAF serial 44-84474),
after the war it was renamed H-325 and the Dutch flags were replaced with
the Dutch roundels. It was put into service by AURI as F-325 and flew
with the Indonesians until it 's crash in 1949, May 1st.

that's the story for this Stang.

  17. Klu 311 Sqn

    This is a one-off skin.
Made it because a gate guarrd nearby inspired me,
an F-84F at Gilze-Rijen AB wearing P-191 reg.

The P-191, as made, was an F-84F-71-RE Thunderstreak
with serial 53-196916 which was taken in service in August 1957
and flew until October 1970. It first flew with 316 Sqn but
was handed to 311 Sqn late December 1957 because 316
was disbanded. With 311 it flew as PP-12 and later as P-191.
The skin in which P-191 is standing guard near the gate
often is incorrect. Over the years I saw different serials and
squadron markings. At one time it almost fell apart, but it
is now in a better condition.

So, here you have P-191. Nice livery, for which I thank
Column 5 because he made the basic camo skin.

  21. Il-28 of the Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte (DDR)

    Hi pilot!

For your Cold War games I have made two skins representing 9
aircraft of the Luftstreitkräfte (of the DDR); a silver one
(standard) and a camouflaged one. The serials are the
correct ones for the normal bomber version.
Note! The included camouflage skin was only applied on ONE
LSK Il-28, being number 208. Nonetheless I have included it
with ability to carry all numbers.
Drag and drop in your Il-28 folder.... ready!

    Hope you like it!

  23. Green Portuguese Gina

Although not an Italian or German skin, it is an Italian plane, so I thought
this to be the right place.

    A Fiat G.91R-4 from Esquadra 121, based at BA12 - Bissau / Bissalanca in the period 1973 - 1974.
After the PAIGC started using SA-7 Strela MANPADs the FAP camouflaged its Fiats in this dark green 'anti-radiation' paint,
developed by personnel of the OGMA (Oficina Geral de Material Aeronautico) facilities in Portugal. This camouflage was to
become widespread between all aircraft used in the Portuguese colonies in the mid-1970s.

Just a quick job I did, hope you like it. Maybe not completely the right tone of green, but it's better than nothing right?!

Particular aircraft flew in this livery in Afghanistan between
    October 1988 and January 1989.

This skin is meant for the standard TW Tu-22, although with a bit of renaming it
can easily be used for all variants except the swingwing Ms.

I hope this skin gives the boring silver Blinders a bit more oomph. Just drop the
objects folder in your standard SF2 folder.
