Hello mate, yes create a flight folder in your "mod folder" (saved games..)
viewlist can be found in the CATs.
you can extract any file to its respective place inside "mod folder" than edit as you wish.

Here's a camera/view mod you might like:

(SF2NA is not a requirement any SF2 will do..)

Yes, those are Docked clones.
They were used to populate the terrain as static objects. Most of these clones have engine sound/smoke deleted, and some without radar/missiles..
So if you're designing custom single missions use the ones without _D, they have the original data.ini files.

A Really wonderful terrain Ant.

At present I know of no way do carrier tours with SF2NA-style naval campaigns. Carrier groups have a single start date, a single retire date, and that's it. We need carrier groups with multiple start dates and retire dates. The alternative is a dozen of so carriers all active at the same time, all churning up the Gulf of Tonkin for the duration of Rolling Thunder. The result looks ridiculous. There are also potential performance problems on some users' machines.
Would this work?
For example create 3 different CVS-11 Intrepid NavalUnits covering the 3 tours on different dates.
Then set the squadrons to respective naval units depending on start dates.
Does the NavalUnit disappear when retirement comes?

On the other hand, something like a radar horizon (?) seems to be simulated.
When attacking a carrier group in open water, the lower I fly the later I will be detected (RWR signature verifies this). The curvature of the earth?...
The radar horizon height depends on my altitude..
Was it like this in previous games? Need to double check it.

Just tried the same mission and profile with Gerwins Old style Iceland, things worked as expected. Clear RWR when terrain masking..
They would still fire a few missiles after I duck but that could be expected I guess.

These two ships, a Kresta (U in RWR) and a Type 053 (FF) can paint me on radar even behind two mountain ridges.
They can lock me up and keep firing at me even after running a while behind this obstacle. Also the ZSU is on my RWR, to the Right, which is actually on the airfield to the right, couple more ridges away, at sea
level. Sure the missiles are not hitting me but it looks like there could be problem with terrain masking the radar signals?
SF2NA, Jul2012, all settings including terrain detail on highest.

I consider the flat object (airfields/runways) Z buffer issue a "view distance" problem also.
When bombing airfields, all parked aircraft and other objects are invisible until close ranges.

A work of art. Loving the details and texture work.
