  1. EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon "BETA" Pack

    SF2 - EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon "BETA" Pack

This aircraft is tested on Fully Merged SF2E/I/NA/V on July 2013 patch.

The aircraft is to be use under the COMBATACE rules "ONLY"

DO NOT VIOLATE THE RULE OR PERFORM PIRACY!

First, I want to thank Bongodriever for his "superb" re-work of his EF-2000 for SF2.
Despite being a "Beta" it is an exceptional aircraft. Lets hope he will finish the work someday?
Also, without his work... we would of all have to wait for another talented individual to make this aircraft.
    Thank you very much Craig.

I want to take this opportunity to dedicate this Aircraft to the following individuals:

"Spinners" - I want to thank you for helping me to get started in becoming a Modder at Combatace.
Even though time have past, I have not forgotten about your kindness, support, and patience in teaching me the basics.

I also want to thank... "Fastcargo" "Wrench" and "Sundowner" for their early support as well.

Of course, since the early days to the present. I had the pleasure of being helped by so many other great and talented
people... You know who you are... Thank you all for sharing your knowledge and many other things...

Now, since this is a BETA... Pretty much all deficiencies are well known. So do not make uncessary post or comments if you find an issue.

Please take the time to read the "knowledge base section for SF2" to install this aircraft, as well as, to answer many questions you might have?

Yes, the knowledge base section has wealth of information that answers most of your concerns or issues. Make the effort to learn it, DO NOT BE LAZY.

Also, make the effort to use the search function for your concerns or issues. You will be surprised that many of topic issues have already been discussed.

Lastly, the file is BIG... I did do my due diligence to make sure all is correct. But like anything in life, there is a chance that I might have miss something or made an error?
Feel free to make the post if you find something that is not correct?

This file contain all of the air wings and squadrons from all of the current EF-2000 user and soon to be user of the EF-2000.

Instead of listing them (which is very long), look at the files and you will know who they are...

With the exception of the RAF 43(F) Sqn and the 2(AC) Special markings, all of the squadrons are current or were in existence.

    - 43(F) squadron was suppose to be the next Typhoon squadron this year, but that was changed when 2(AC) squadron was selected instead.
    - 2(AC) special marking was something I just added.

Note #1: Until Ravenclaw finish the KEPD-350, the GAF and the Eda will not show a stand-off weapon under the loadout for "strike".
I use the KEPD_350 as a reminder for future changes on the loadout.

Note #2: ONly RAF is using the swing-Role for the EF-2000. Most other nations are using the EF-2000 for Air Defense only, but are starting to use the ground attach capability.
So, the loadout is not the most accurate for the various ground roles. You can change it to what ever you like.

Note #3: Pirate cam will appear when you use the AA mode. With targeting pod loaded, you have to select the AG mode to use the targeting pod cam.

All work are done by me with the exception of the credits given to the people below:

Bongodriver - Aircraft/Seat/.LODs and most of the .INIs (with tweaks by me)
ChrisBV - Pilots (I slightly modified the skin)
    Florian/JAT - Pilot
Ravenclaw - Weapons (I modified one of the weapon to make the GBU-48B)
    FastCargo - Fakepilot
Eagle114th - Wingtip vortex (I modified both the skakey/straight vortex effects, also can use both at the same time)
    Spillone104 - Engine sounds

If I have forgotten anyone for their work, my apologies, and your work is being recognized and credited.

    Thank you for reading.

I hope you will enjoy flying this aircraft.

    Cheers!

SF2 Mirage 2000 Foreign Operator Pack

This is a FULL merged SF2 Pack... Tested up to Mar2012 Updates.

Each Foreign Mirage 2000 Operator is included (Full Fleet of each Air Force).

    I have done the following:

    1. Most of the tweaks on the files
    2. All the Mods on the files
    3. All the skins on the files (using MF as the base)
    4. All the modified weapons on the files
    5. 3 separate cockpit glass tint
    6. Modified afterburner/effects (tested 4 different one, settle on the one on file)

    The Air Force included:

    HAF
    Qatar
    ROCAF
    UAE
    EAF
    FAB
    FAP
    HAL

I want to thank 'Crusader' for trying to tweak the cockpit by YEYEYE, and for approving the use of the .LODs.

The cockpit's main Attitude Inidicator is not model appropriately so the standby is the main ADI.
I have lock the main ADI to only capable of 'yaw'

If you want to use the default MF cockpit, just change the name on the MF's cockpit.ini and avionic.ini to correspond with the aircraft's name on file and copy and past to the main files alone with the MF cockpit folder.

  4. SF2 HAF F-4E_SRA

    SF2 HAF F-4E_SRA

    Short History:

During Operation Desert Storm in 1991, Greece played a secondary role with its Hellenic Navy Kortenaer Frigate 'Elli'.
As a gesture of gratitude, the Bush Administration supplied the HAF with, among other equipment, a further 28 refurbished and upgraded F-4Es, Which came from the Indiana ANG's 113th and 163rd Tactical Figher Wings.
The ex-ANG models, knows as South Eastern Regional Amendament (SRA) among the Greek crews, were aging but extremely capable aircrafts.
All the F-4E_SRA were passed to 338 Squadron, which expanded its air-to-ground role.
During the HAF Peace Icarus 2000 program, all the F-4E_SRA from the 338 squadron were transferred to the 337 squadron.
In 2004 with the defence budget cuts, a number of fighters were withdrawn - including the 26 remaining F-4E_SRA Phantoms.
The last flight of the 337 squadron's SRA Phantom took place on May 29, 2006 when squadron commander Lt Col. Theodoros Syrmos deliverd his aircraft to Mikra Internation Airport, Thessaloniki for storage.

This is for SF2 merged install.

    Contain the following Squadrons:

    337 Squadron 'Ghost' (Fantasma)
    337 Squadron HG II
    337 Squadron Hill Grey II

  6. Asian F-16 Viper Pack Part 1

    SF2 Asian F-16 Viper Pack Part 1

First - My sincere thanks to Sony Tuckson and the entire Mirage Factory Team for the permission to use the F-16 Files.

This is for SF2 Full Merge Installed updated to July 11 patch.

The file contain the following squadrons:

**Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF)

21st FS (Luke AF, pilot training)
21st FS Gamblers (Lead bird for the squadron)
    21st FS Special

100 Anniversary (This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China and the KMT party by Dr. Sun)

    401st 12th TRS
    401st 17th FS
    401st 26th FS
    401st 27th FS
401st CAG (Commander of Air Group aircraft)

    455th 14th FS
    455th 21st FS
    455th 23rd FS
    455th CAG

    Aggressor Blue
    Aggressor Brown
    Aggressor Green
    Aggressor Grey
    Aggressor Snow

ED 702 (Aircraft 702 (A model) and aircraft 822 (B model) were assigned to Edwards AF for testing and weapon intergration before being sent to Luke AF to join the training fleet)

Flying Tiger (401 TFW honoring the "AVG" of the Flying Tigers)
    ROCAF Solo

**Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)

    140th SQ
    140th SQ Late

143rd SQ (added just for fun, never flew the F-16A Blk 15 OCU)
145th SQ (also added for fun)

311th TFTS (Squadron at Luke AF to train the pilots, very short live)

425th FS (Current squadron at Luke AF to train the RSAF pilots, added for fun)

    **Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF)

    102nd SQ Early
    102nd SQ Late
    103rd SQ Early
    103rd SQ Late
    403rd SQ
    Wing 1
    Wing 4

    **Indonesia Air Force (TNI-AU)

    3rd SQ Blue Camo
    3rd SQ Blue LV
    3rd SQ Grey Camo
    3rd SQ Grey LV

The files above represented the F-16AM Blk20 for the ROCAF, F-16A Blk15 OCU for the RSAF, F-16A_ADF for the RTAF, and F-16A Blk15OCU for the TNI-AU.

Due to the "fake pilot" mode, you will see the IFF blade on all Blk15 OCU by RSAF and TNI-AU when there shouldn't be... But who cares, it looks good :)

As always, great care is taken to insure proper skin, decal-type/size/position and color when possible.

Any modification that is not fully represented to the actual aircraft is made to improve the looks of the skin rather then to downgrade the quality of the actual aircraft skin and decals, or simply it is beyond my ability.

I DID NOT upload the pilot, effects, and weapons because of three things:

    1. If you have been with the commuty for a long time, I assume you have it all and will modify it to your own liking.
    2. If you are new to the community, then you have a lot to read and upload to get the full impact of the wonderful work that many have contributed.
    3. I am too lazy to do it for you...

    From 1969 to 1989, ROKAF had 27 RF-4C, 92 F-4D, and 103 F-4E.

In late 80s' to early 90s' the ROK Agency for Defense Development

    its remaining 150 or so F-4D/Es and 25 RF-4Cs.

Submission from DASA (ICE Program) and Rockwell (Washingthouse APG-66,
base on the APG-66J for the JASDF's "Kai" program... was maded in
1993. A close decision for the "ICE program" was almost ordered.

However, funding priorites for the KF-16C/D, the F-X, and the KTX-2,
as well as, the ROKs' currency devaluation... kept the ROKAFs' F-4
    upgrades on the back burner.

Now, with the F-15K (F-X 1/2 selection completed - order in two batch
of 40/21. All of the ROKAFs Phantoms are being slowly replace.

    151st TFS F-4D (Replace with F-15K)

    152nd TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")
    153rd TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")
    156th TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")

The ROCAF/Taiwan's secret 34th Squadron's RB-69A/P2V-7U ELINT/SIGINT aircraft flew electronic reconnaissance missions over China and Vietnam. Overall, from 1953 to 1967, 34th Squadron flew 838 missions, 148 Black Bat crew members went down with 15 aircraft. A few were captured after being shot down and later released in Hong Kong. Last squadron's operational mission was flown on Jan. 25, 1967. After 1967, 34th Squadron stopped flying over and near Mainland China, and moved to special ops over Vietnam, until 1972. 12 members of 34th SQ also involved in CIA's Project Main Street in 1971 to 1972, involving tapping North Vietnam's communication link.

The Black Cat Squadron was a squadron of the Republic of China Air Force that flew the U-2 surveillance plane out of Taoyuan Airbase in northern Taiwan, from 1961 to 1974. The formal designation of the squadron was the 35th Squadron, operating under the cover of a high altitude weather research squadron. 26 ROCAF pilots successfully completed U-2 training in the US and flew 220 operational missions, including 102 surveillance flights over the People's Republic of China.
During the squadron's 14 years of existence, five U-2's were shot down by PRC air defenses, with three pilots killed and 2 pilots captured. One other pilot was killed while performing an operational mission off China coast. Seven other Black Cat U-2s were lost during training missions, killing 6 pilots.
The squadron usually had only two U-2 assigned to it, sometimes down to just one aircraft. A total of 19 U-2s were assigned to the Black Cat Squadron, over fourteen years.
The intelligence gathered by the Black Cat Squadron, which included evidence of a military build-up on the Sino-Soviet border, may have contributed to the U.S. opening to China during the Nixon administration by revealing the escalating tensions between the two communist nations. Shortly after Nixon's visit to Beijing, all reconnaissance flights over the People's Republic ceased, and the Black Cat Squadron was officially disbanded in the spring of 1974.

    F-104SM_ROCAF for SF2

This is my modified F-104G to the F-104S series (which I really like). In the late 1960s, Taiwan was looking at purchasing F-104S from Italy, the deal never went through. Only the Turkish Air Froce bought 40 F-104S from Italy.

Please place the appreciate content from each folder into each specific folder base on SF2 format.

F-104G cockpit .LOD is not included. Please follow Wrench's instruction under the knowledge section.

    NOTE:

  16. JASDF F-15CJ_Kai

The is not the perfect F-15CJ_Kai.

This aircraft is base on the Stock F-15A SF2, you would need to have SF2 and/or Merged SF2 installed.

I have made a lot of tweaks on the plane. You can modify it to your own liking.

Thus, weapons and effects is not included, check download section for your preference.

Don't worry if you do not have the effects or weapons installed, the game will DEFAULT to SF2 Stock weapons for the specific time period.

Copy the content of the respect folders to your folder:

"Aircraft" to your "Object Aircraft folder."

"Decals", copy the entire decals folder content and paste it onto your decal folder. I was unable to use specific squadron
for decal folder, as it does not show up on the aircraft.

All of my skin has extensive logos on it... as the JASDF likes to change logos and decals often.

The lack of accuracy consist of:

-The feathers on the engine nozzle is still in place.
-The various antennas that is not shown or updated as per MSIP II and after.
-The larger bullet fairing on the left vertical stab. (should be the thin one).
-The speed brake position when deploy is not accurate (TK did not made the model to extend further).
-I was unable to have all the decals on the RIGHT "outter" vertical stab. and LEFT "inner" vertical stab. to face forward (toward the nose) as per actual aircraft. Two aircraft, the RIGHT "inner" logo is not facing forward.
-The skin pattern/color is not accurate, BUT the JASDF is notorious for having various skin patterns and decals at a drop of a hat... so I am not that much off.

-I'm sure you can find more but that is what is great about this game series... you can CREATE and CHANGE to your liking!

The file contain all of the current JASDF F-15CJ squadrons with the "EXCEPTION" of two skins.

The 1st Tactical Squadron and the Air Developemt and Test Command Squadron.

(Both squadron are provisional and aircrafts get rotated from active units or spare aircraft)

Oh, I added my own squadron "JASDF Shogun" (what if...)

    The following are the Squadrons:

Hiko Kyoiku Kokutai (Tactical Fighter Training Squadron) Nyutabaru Air Base (RJFN).

23rd Hikotai (Squadron), 23Sq. replaced the 202Sq. in 2000 as the F-15 training unit.

Keikai Kokutai (Provisional Group) Nyutabaru Air Base (RJFN)

    Hiko Kyodotai ("Aggressors")

2 Kokudan (Wing): Chitose Air Base (RJCJ), Part of the Northern Air Defence Force (HQ Misawa).

    201 Hikotai
    203 Hikotai

83 Kokutai (Group), Part of the Southwestern Composite Air Division (HQ Naha).

204 Hikotai (204Sq. swopped places with 302Sq. (F-4EJ_Kai) at the beginning of 2009 for better defense of the Southern flank).

6 Kokudan: Kanazawa/Komatsu Air Base (RJNK), Part of the Central Air Defence Force (HQ Iruma).

    303 Hikotai
    306 Hikotai

7 Kokudan: Hyakuti Air Base (RJAH), Part of the Central Air Defence Force (HQ Iruma).

    305 Hikotai

8 Kokudan: Tsuiki Air Base (RJFZ), Part of the Western Air Defence Force (HQ Kasuga).

    304 Hikotai

    SF2 F-4ETM_Simsek "Lightning"

I want to thank "Sundowner" for his gracious assistance and the permission to use his F-4E_2020 .LOD

Not the perfect version of the aircraft but I made this as my own 'Simsek' representation.

    Short history of F-4ETM_Simsek:

"After the completion of the Terminator programme, the TuAF considered upgrading a follow-on batch of 48 more F-4Es Under the project 'Terminator II'.
T2 project was to emphasize on the increased air-to-air capability, the project was to involve more local content rather than using Israely hardware. However, the estimated cost was as high as $670 million and contract negotiations were cancelled in 2005.
After the cancellation, the Turkish Government decided to develope a national modernisation programme using the experience gained from the Terminator project.

Under project 'Simsek' (Lightning) started in February 2006 the TuAF aims to keep more squadron of F-4Es airworthy until the arrival of the F-35.
The 1st ASMC was the main contractor and subcontractor ASELSAN (Askeri Elektronik Sanayi - Military Electronics Industries) providing the avionics.

Simsek includes a structural and avionics upgrade of 16 F-4E Phantom IIs. Structural modifications included in the work will extend the service life until 2014 - 2016, while the avionics enhancement included integration of CDU-900Z control display units, MXF-484 radios, the LN-100GT INS/GPS navigation system, a cockpit TV system, AVTR, and IFF Mode 4.

The first two aircraft, designed as F-4ETM Simsek, were delivered to 112 Filo at Eskishir AB on March 3, 2010. All 16 upgraded aircraft are due to be delivered to 112 Filo, which was the first TuAF Phantom operator. The Simsek project is planned to be completed in early 2011.

To be use in SF2 Merged Installed.

    Contain the following squadrons:

First - My sincere thanks to Sony Tuckson and the entire Mirage Factory Team for the permission to use the F-16 Files.

This is for SF2 Full Merge Installed updated to July 11 patch.

The file contain the following squadrons:

    Esq. 201
    Esq. 201 Late
    Esq. 301
    Esq. 301 Claw

This is my "over flow" work from my Asian Viper Pack.

    9th MLU
    9th SQ
    11th MLU

    11th MLU

    NOTE:

I name my aircraft as stated above. You need to go to the decal.ini and change the name to fit your own aircraft, otherwise the skin decals will not show up.

I tried to add the F16-005.bmp but I think the aircraft .LOD does not read it so I deleted it. The F-16A/B_Blk15 is still the old one. The new aircraft when MF decided to upload will read the F16-005, but only in .DDS file format.

  23. ROKAF F-4E_SK(ICE) Phantom II

The Hankook Kong Goon (Republic of Korea Air Force - ROKAF)

    From 1969 to 1989, ROKAF had 27 RF-4C, 92 F-4D, and 103 F-4E.

In late 80s' to early 90s' the ROK Agency for Defense Development
announced a plan to upgrade the radar and avionics of 35 to 100 of
    its remaining 150 or so F-4D/Es and 25 RF-4Cs.

    11th TFW

    110th TFS F-4D (Replace with F-15K)
    151st TFS F-4D (Replace with F-15K)

    17th TFW

    152nd TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")
    15srd TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")
    156th TFS F-4E (possibly being replace with F-15K or the F-X "3")

    131st TRS RF-4C (Plan to be de-commission)

    For the Phantom Lovers...

This is the ROKAF F-4E_SK(ICE) Phantom II "What if..."

I pick this name because... had the ROKAF upgrade their Phantoms, most
likely it would be base on the "ICE Project." "SK - South Korean"

    In this aircraft:

    - Avionics changes
    - Cockpit changes
    - Data.ini changes
    - Loadout changes
    - Fuel tank changes (F-15 style 600gal tank)
    - etc.

Most members of the CombatAce Forum has made additional modifications to the already
excellent aircrafts being produce by countless talented individuals at this
Forum. The additional modification of this Phantom is one of the examples.

ALL THE CREDITS GOES TO THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALs.

If I miss anyone, I do apologizes and your work is being recognize and
    appreciated.

    SF2 Read Me:

Sundowner was kind enough to give me the "OK" to upload these excellent skins!

Copy/paste the contents of each folder to the proper folder files.

Make sure you make the added changes to your "textureset"

I name the decal folders after the "stock" Kurnass_78 folder (IDFCamo 1). If you want to adapt to Kurnass_73 or_75, you need to make the name changes and decal changes accordingly.

Note: The decals files does not really need to be added... Since Sundowner did a great job on how the skin is apply to the model.
But in case it does not work for you for some reason it is best to add it to your decal folder.

    Credit: Mr. Sundowner

Input Credits: Thanks to the guys... Wrench, STORM, Spinners, hgbn, daddyairplanes

  25. JASDF F-15CJ_Kai Decals Update SF2

This is an update of the F-15CJ_Kai Decals.

For those who have not already done so on their own, or for those who would like to see the proper decal placement?

The following files will "CORRECT" the errors that I described on the initial upload of the F-15CJ_Kai's decals.

This is NOT a set of new decals.

Place the appropriate files into the respective folder.

Please use copy and paste procedure for "each" of the folders content.

Again, let me know if there is any issues. There is always a chance that during the replacement process... something was miss or miss-place.

    Cheers!
