  1. Project 877 Paltus (Kilo class) submarine

Project 877 Paltus (Kilo class) submarine for Strike Fighters 2

The Kilo class is the NATO reporting name for a naval diesel-electric submarine that is made in Russia. The original version of the vessels were designated Project 877 Paltus (Halibut) in Russia.
The boats are mainly intended for anti-shipping and anti-submarine operations in relatively shallow waters. Original Project 877 boats are equipped with Rubikon MGK-400 sonar system (with NATO reporting name Shark Gill), which includes a mine detection and avoidance sonar MG-519 Arfa (with NATO reporting name Mouse Roar). Newer Project 636 boats are equipped with improved MGK-400EM, with MG-519 Afra also upgraded to MG-519EM. The improved sonar systems have reduced the number of operators needed by sharing the same console via automation.
The first submarine entered service in the Soviet Navy in 1980, and the class remains in use with the Russian Navy. 17 vessels are believed to still be in active service with the Russian Navy, while 7 vessels are thought to be in reserve.[6] So far, 33 vessels have been exported to several countries: Algeria, People's Republic of China, India, Poland, Iran, Romania and Vietnam.

  2. Aermacchi MB-339A for SFP1/WOX

Aermacchi MB 339A Version 2.0 for SFP1/WOV/WOE/WOI by ID(io)T Team

    Development and operational history

Aermacchi went on to perform an effective "facelift" on the MB-326 to create the "MB-339", a modernized derivative. The first of two "MB-339X" prototypes performed its initial flight on 12 August 1976, with the second following on 20 May 1977. The first of 107 production "MB-339A" trainers for the AMI performed its initial flight on 20 July 1978, with the type entering service in 1979.
The MB-339 retained substantial commonality with the MB-326, differing mainly in a new forward fuselage with a raised cockpit, and twin ventral fins plus a taller tailfin to compensate for the loss in yaw stability due to the new forward fuselage. The MB-339 also featured updated systems, particularly rocket-boosted SICAMB / Martin Baker Mark 1T-10F ejection seats with "zero zero" (zero speed zero altitude) capability. However, the MB-339 retained the Viper 632-43 engine; Aermacchi had seriously considered replacing it with a more modern and fuel-economical engine, but the Viper was cheap, reliable, and had good performance. The engine was license-built by Piaggio. The MB-339 retained the six stores pylons of the MB-326G. It did not have built-in cannon, but cannon pods, dumb bombs, and rocket launchers were qualified as stores for the light attack role. The MB-339 has been export in Argentina where ten "MB-339AA" were obtained by the Argentine Navy (ARA), with the type operating against the British during the Falklands War in 1982. Other MB-339A users included Dubai (seven), Ghana (four), Malaysia (thirteen MB-339AM), Nigeria (twelve MB-339AN), and Peru (sixteen MB-339AP).

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The War Trial
Lt Guillermo Owen Crippa, a young Argentine Fleet Air Arm pilot, was tasked as No 2 of an armed patrol from Stanley airfield shortly after sun-up. The other Aermacchi jet trainer became unserviceable, so Crippa launched on his own. Near Jersey Point he spotted a Royal Navy Lynx helicopter, but as he pulled up to dive on it, he also sighted the ‘enemy’ invasion force anchored in San Carlos Water. Crippa broke off, reported his discovery of the British to his controller in Stanley – and then announced his intention to attack.
At low level and high speed he emerged from the radar shadow of Fanning Head, and fired all his podded Zuni rockets at HMS ARGONAUT. Crippa then engaged a RFA stores ship with his 30mm DEFA cannon, and before exiting the combat zone, took notes on the number and types of ship sheltering in San Carlos Water. He was subsequently awarded Argentina’s highest decoration for valour in combat. The British were also given a first taste of the courage and determination that characterizes Argentine military aviators.

  4. ID(io)T Team Iowa Class Battleship 80s

ID(io)T Team Iowa Class Battleship 80s for Strike Fighters 2

    History:

In the 1980s, as part of President Ronald Reagan's plan to rebuild the U.S. military and create a 600-ship Navy—which would counter the new Soviet Kirov class battlecruisers—all four of the battleships were reactivated and modernized under the 600-ship Navy program.each battleship was overhauled to burn navy distillate fuel and modernized to carry electronic warfare suites, close-in weapon systems (CIWS) for self-defense, and missiles. After recommissioning, the modernized battleships operated as centerpieces of their own battleship battle groups (BBBGs), consisting of one Ticonderoga-class cruiser, one Kidd-class destroyer or Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, one Spruance-class destroyer, three Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates and one support ship, such as a fleet oiler.
During their modernization in the 1980s each Iowa-class battleship was equipped with four of the US Navy's Phalanx CIWS mounts, two of which sat just behind the bridge and two which were next to the after ship's funnel. Iowa, New Jersey, and Missouri were equipped with the Block 0 version of the Phalanx, while Wisconsin received the first operational Block 1 version in 1988.[70] The Phalanx system is intended to serve as a last line of defense against enemy missiles and aircraft, and when activated can engage a target with a 20 mm M61 Vulcan 6-barreled gatling cannon at a distance of approximately 3.6 km (2.2 mi).
A close-up look at an Armored Box Launcher unit, this one aboard USS New Jersey As part of their modernization in the 1980s, each of the Iowa-class battleships received a complement of Armored Box Launchers and "shock hardened" Mk. 141 quad cell launchers. The former was used by the battleships to carry and fire the BGM-109 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) for use against enemy targets on land, while the latter system enabled the ships to carry a complement of RGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles for use against enemy ships. With an estimated range of 675 nautical miles (1,250 km; 777 mi) to 1,500 nautical miles (2,800 km; 1,700 mi) for the Tomahawk missile and 64.5 nautical miles (119.5 km; 74.2 mi) to 85.5 nautical miles (158.3 km; 98.4 mi) for the Harpoon missile system, these two missile systems displaced the sixteen-inch guns and their maximum range of 42,345 yards (38,720 m) (24.06 mi)[28] to become the longest-ranged weapons on the battleships during the 1980s. It has been alleged by some[73][74][75] that the battleships carried the TLAM-A (also cited, incorrectly, as the TLAM-N)—a Tomahawk missile with a W80 nuclear warhead—during their 1980s service with the United States Navy, but owing to the United States Navy's policy of refusing to confirm or deny the presence of nuclear weaponry aboard its ships, these claims can not be conclusively proved.
During the 1980s these battleships made use of the RQ-2 Pioneer, an unmanned aerial vehicle employed in spotting for the guns. Launched from the fantail using a rocket-assist booster that was discarded shortly after takeoff, the Pioneer carried a video camera in a pod under the belly of the aircraft which transmitted live video to the ship so operators could observe enemy actions or fall of shot during naval gunnery. To land the UAV a large net was deployed at the back of the ship the aircraft was flown into it. Missouri and Wisconsin both used the Pioneer UAVs successfully during Operation Desert Storm.

    USS Iowa (BB-61)

Reactivated in the early 1980s, Iowa operated in the Atlantic Fleet, cruising in North American and European waters for most of the decade and participating in joint military exercises with European ships. On 19 April 1989, 47 sailors were killed following an explosion in her No. 2 turret. In 1990, Iowa was decommissioned for the last time and placed in the mothball fleet. She was stricken from the Naval Vessel Register on 17 March 2006. Iowa is currently anchored as part of the National Defense Reserve Fleet in Suisun Bay, California and is available for donation as a museum and memorial.

    USS New Jersey (BB-62)

Reactivated in 1982 under the 600-ship Navy program, New Jersey was sent to Lebanon to protect U.S. interests and U.S. Marines, firing her main guns at Druze and Syrian positions in the Beqaa Valley east of Beirut. Decommissioned for the last time 8 February 1991, New Jersey was briefly retained on the Naval Vessel Register before being donated to the Home Port Alliance of Camden, New Jersey for use as a museum ship in October 2001

    USS Missouri (BB-63)

Reactivated in 1984 as part of the 600-ship Navy plan, Missouri was sent on operational cruises until being assigned to Operation Earnest Will in 1988. In 1991, Missouri participated in Operation Desert Storm, firing 28 Tomahawk Missiles and 759 sixteen-inch (406 mm) shells at Iraqi targets along the coast. Decommissioned for the last time in 1992, Missouri was donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, for use as a museum ship in 1999.

    USS Wisconsin (BB-64)

reactivated in 1986 as part of the 600-ship Navy plan. In 1991, Wisconsin participated in Operation Desert Storm, firing 24 Tomahawk Missiles at Iraqi targets, and expending 319 16-inch (406 mm) shells at Iraqi troop formations along the coast. Decommissioned for the last time 30 September 1991, Wisconsin was placed in the reserve fleet until struck from the Naval Vessel Register on 17 March 2006 so she could be transferred for use as a museum ship. Wisconsin is currently berthed at the Nauticus maritime museum in Norfolk, Virginia.

  6. Soko G-4 Super Galeb v1.1

Soko G-4 Super Galeb by ID(io)Ts TEAM

Soko G-4 Super Galeb is single-engined basic/advanced flying and armament trainer with light attack capability, powered by one DMB (Rolls-Royce/Bristol Siddeley) Viper Mk 632-46 turbojet .
The aircraft was meant to be the advanced trainer for the former Yugoslav Air Force , substituing the elder Soko G2 "Galeb"in early 80's.The aircraft is usually compared with other planes of the
same type like Bae Hawk,Alpha Jet , although it is smaller and lighter .
It has never exceed the speed of 921 km/h at 11,000 m and maximum level speed "clean" 920 km/h at 6,000 m .Despites the nickname"Super Galeb", the aircraft is completely different from the elder Soko G2.
The good aerodynamic qualities are obvious in many airshows proving a very friendly and easy control of the airframe, between -4.00 and +8.00 G ,besides the semplicity and the durability.
The main armament of the aircraft is composed by rockets, bombs, cluster bombs, droptanks and the specific gun pod using Gsh-23 cannon. Some references talk about a special recon pod mounted, which permits at
the aircraft to be used in recon missions.
The G-4 saw many combat missions at the beginning of the Yugoslav wars, used like light-attacker. In total there were three Super Galebs shot down with pilots safely ejected.
During the Kosovo War the G-4 was used in few combat missions attacking the KLA positions in Kosovo at treetop level without loss, proving the high qualities of resistance to light SAMs and ground fire.
However, seven G-4 aircraft from the Lete?e Zvezde display team were destroyed in an underground tunnel at Golubovci Airbase, afer lasr guided bombing.

In the early 1990s the G-4 was a contender in the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System program in the U.S and was highly praised by American test pilots who flew it.
It lost the bid to the Raytheon/Pilatus entry, which became the T-6 Texan II.the only export order made for the aircraft was for six planes by Myanmar
    VERSION 1.1
due to inconvenient issues about shadows, we revised the max source file and deleted the .shd file from the game.

  7. Avia S-199 by ID(io)T team

    Avia S-199 for SFP1,WOX oct.08 patch by ID(io)T team

    Historical note-(from Wikipedia)
Avia Company ,a branch of the enormous Škoda Works in Czechoslovakia built numerous Messhershmitt Bf-109G’s during the WW2 for the German Luftwaffe. After the war the major part of the construction line remained intact, and soon the Czechoslovakian Air Force put an order for Avia S-99, an exact copy of Bf-109G.
Under unknown conditions, the company run out of Daimler-Benz DB 605 engines andi it was decided to use an alternative type.Making an unfortuned -for many-decision ,the specialists managed to put the the Junkers Jumo 211 and the propeller of he-111 bomber to the existing Me-109 G airframe. This engine used by the Henkel He-111 bomber was heavier, used heavier propeller that caused torque and the final result was an aircraft with control difficulties .the new variant was named after Avia S-199 and an order for a new branch was made very soon .
Despite the aircraft's numerous problems and unpopularity with its pilots, it achieved fame as the first fighter obtained by the Israeli Air Force, for use during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Czechoslovak pilots nicknamed it Mezek ("Mule"), while in Israel it was officially known as the Sakeen ("knife" in Hebrew). In practice, the aircraft was more often called Messerschmitt or Messer (which also means "knife", in German and Yiddish).
Around 550 S-199s were built, including a number of conversion trainers designated CS-199 (armed) and C-210 (unarmed), 20 were purchased by Israel. The first flight took place in March 1947, and production ended in 1949. The last examples were withdrawn from Czechoslovak service (with their National Security Guard) in 1957.

    Silverbolt : Test flights

    Instructions:
Simply put S-199 and Piloter folders inside Aircraft folder in your install and the sound file inside Sounds folder.

    IMPORTANT NOTICES:
1)this plane is meant to be a freeware for the beginning, don’t buy it from nowhere J
2)although the major part of these planes were used by the Czechoslovakian Air force, we didn’t have time to complete a skin L…please, contribute!!!!!!!
3)putting datas to make it fly more close to the real one, we discovered why it was named “mule”…..so, expect something more easy to handle. Of course, for the case that everybody knows, prop planes doesn’t work properly under “hard”mode…but even in medium mode, it goes great!

  8. IAI Kfir TC7

ISRAEL AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIES I.A.I Kfir TC.7 for SFP1/WOV/WOE/WOI not testet in SF2.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    A little background:

The twin seater variant of I.A.I Kfir appeared shortly after the entrance in service of the single seater variant C2. Technical data refers to the type as multirole fighter with full capacities despites the minor amount of fuel , elevated weight and the lack of DEFA cannons. With the entrance of service of the Kfir c7 variant, several airframes were updated to this standard. Strangely, there are many airframes displayed in museums and photos that show at least the left cannon mounted in the usual position between intake and left wing. Other photos testify that twin seater Kfirs of the south American air forces mount both cannons, as it happened for the major updates of Mirage III in “Pantera” and “Cheetah”, sign that at least , with the technological evolution, the space reserved for the cannons was for new free. For some other, this was an eventual resolution of the fatigue problems of the trainer variant or adoption of the two seater nose on to a single seater airframe with less hours of flight.

In Israeli service the aircraft was used mainly for trainer purposes, as chase plane for prototypes and test bench for new systems and subsystems. Some reports testify that some TC2-TC7were used as ELINT platforms to study the electromagnetic emissions of Arab defence systems.

  9. Soko G2 Galeb

    A bit of history:

Yugoslavia's Aeronautical Technical Institute began design work on an airplane, named Galeb, in 1957. The first flight of the prototype was performed on 31 July 1961. Soon, after a full-size wooden mock-up, the second prototype Galeb 2 was built The Air Force needed a trainer with secondary combat ability that could operate from unprepared runways. Not familiar with such requirements, the designers provided for landing gear strong enough to make the aircraft suitable for landing on aircraft carriers.
Production began in 1964, making it the first indigenous jet to enter mass production in Yugoslavia. The first production series G-2A was entered in the aircraft register of the Yugoslav Air Force on 30 July 1965, and the last one on 6 January 1981. Production of updated aircraft for export to Libya was extended until mid-1983. Soko produced a total of 248 Galeb aircraft, 132 of which were used by the Yugoslav Air Force. In the first Congo war, a total of three J-21 Jastrebs and one G2Galeb were delivered to the government, flown and mantained by yugoslav mercenaries. In early 90’s during the Yugoslav war, many airframes of dismissed Galebs were put in flight condition and used together with the single seater variant Jastreb as ground attackers from all sides.

    Installation instructions:
Put the files in the respective folders.
There are some .INI files to be edited because not everyone have it in the same condition. For exhample: there are guns and a couple of weapons to be added to their respective WEAPONDATA.INI and GUNDATA.INI and then run the editors.
Plus extract or modify the SOUNDLIST.INI in Flight folder in order to have the JATO sound.

    Flight Instructions:
This model have a simulated JATO rocket effect to help in take-offs especially when eavy loaded. To activate the JATO use the controls used for vector thrust. (down to activate - up to deactivate) This system works on the principle of the gun recoil so the "propellent" will empty when ammo finish. The rockets work for 14 seconds. Is recomended to not fire the JATO until 150 Km/h.
When the rockets shuts down you could jettison the spent bottles by Ctrl-D as droptanks.

    Credits:
For the model we use the wonderful cockpit for F-80 shooting star, made by76.IAP-Blackbird
    Erikgen for the pilots
Aleks and Nghengo for 3d model and texture
Spillone 104 for test flights, JATO mod (bottles and effects), loadouts & sounds
Homer for the serial numbers set taken from his F-84G JRV skin pack
This model is freeware, and so it must remain!!! have a nice flight
