At 30,000 feet I'm sure my pilot is getting a hell of a draft, yet with a severe lack of oxygen at 230 knots.....the canopy stays open! How do I fix? Should I just reinstall it?

After reading that the Luftwaffe was disbanded in 1946, I am removing the aircraft for this scenario. I was going to snap some teaser pics of F-51s intercepting a Tu-4 bomber formation but I kept getting gunned down by the B-20 20mm cannons on thsoe things. I literally had 2 wings blown off trying to fly in between the formation balls to the walls... -

I have also decided to leave out the B-36 Peacemaker in this since the aircraft had numerous problems and was not active until 1951. -

Crap. I should read more air warfare and WWII books more. I considered the Typhoon, but given the criticism of it being an intercepter, I opted out of it since I am looking for a concept of covering C-54s during the airlift missions. However, used as an attack and CAS aircraft, it would be awesome! -

Ah I see! Once you patch up, you have to extract the MissileObject.INI in the Objects folder out of the catalog ( CAT ) file. From a previous thread I found Lexx's INI edits to input in. Looks like I'm all good to go now! Closing Thread. -

Fixed it... now My nuclear explosions don't work (all Enhanced Explosions packs don't work actually). I've already transferred all my weapons over again and ran the new Weapon Data program to update them to Oct 08 specs. Still no luck. Help.... :beta1: -

I am indecisive here about upgrading to the October 2008 patch for my WOE. I have lots of mods installed from weather to explosion effects, and well in excess of 150 aircraft. Is there really a big difference and benefit in upgrading to the new patch. I've searched on it already, but just would like to get some more opinions out there. I installed it before but got discouraged and reinstalled WOE all over again without the patch after my weapons didn't work. That has been solved already in another thread. Anywho, thoughts and recommendations are welcome to help me in my decision. Thanks! -

I think I will try that. I do want to keep all of my aircraft, weapons and effects though. Is it a simple drag and drop for all 3 of these folders? Doing this Oct 2008 upgrade also makes me really want to improve my B-52 fleet as only the B-52D and B-52F work on my system. The G & H from the upgrade I got off of here do not even show when flying... just it's armament. -
Gun Sound Effects

I managed to override my original sound effects for the .50 caliber guns and cannons. I'd like to replace these sounds with something a little more realistic and intense. Is anyone using modded gun effects that they would reccommend? I also noticed that the engines sometimes drown out the gunfire. -
The paint scheme on my Raptor seems a little too bright for my tastes. Is there any way to 'flatten' the color scheme of my skin and tone down the relfection?

No Runways on Version 2 Greek Terrain

I never had Version 1 before so I just downloaded Version 2 and installed it. There are no runways and airstrips in the terrain and it seems like all my aircraft run into an invisible wall (limited distance in the size of the map). Am I missing something here? How do I add the runways and get rid of this invisible wall stopping my bombers (on escort missions)? Thanks. -
