  1. there are no seperate charges , as Dag mention above the cones are made of cardboard attached on to a aluminium ring to lock the cones to the launcher

    the rear cone is blasted from the rocket exhaust  and the front cone from the penetrating rocket and the exhaust , all that remains on the launcher is the aluminium ring and some cardboard fragments

    OK, Danke, it's totally clear now :) ...and the screenshot is cool good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif

  2. Lau-10/A rocket launchers

    -

    Looks very detailed and high poly models as always Volker. Amazing job good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif

    I am wondering how aerodynamic cones work front/back of those LAU-10 launchers IRL...Will the gas of rocket launch push the cones away or will those cones dropped just before the first ignition or maybe with small charges blast out from the launcher ?

    and i wondering also: have you ever made AN/AXQ-14 data link pod for GBU-15/AGM-130 (on F-15E / F-111) and Hydra 70 rockets (M151, M229, M257, M261) with M260/M261 7/19 tube launchers ? and with aerodynamic cones as well ? good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gif(for Harrier, A-10, F/A-16 etc.)

  3. Hey Volker bring us also the AIM7 A with the note "unter vorbehalt"

    I agree, please put it to your WeaponPack. Maybe later you should update that model...if you got more photos/infos.

    BTW: maybe these will help a bit

  4. I don't know what happened with the cobra pilot. He was very skillful, but on his last turn...?

    Perhaps he got G-lock for a moment ? Why he did not brake off that sharp turn ?

    Engine or rotor problems maybe ?

    Strange...

    the crash with onboard camera on the Cobra:

  5. what causes this?

    probably missing texture(s)

    @fubar512:: you have a major issue on your mig29k the jetintakes are closed! the mig29k does not have this function! they have a a internal guard mesh

    yes it must be opened always on MiG-29K

    but this will closed only if speed is under ~200kmph and weigth on nose wheel... it will opened again if engines arent running on normal (not K) MiG-29s

  6. is all there you only could not see them on the other screenshots

    OK, Thank You...this is fine

    what i badly need are pictures from the nozzle of the AIM-7A / C / D , otherwise i have to release them semifinished

    i contacted Museums in the US but i only got pictures from the E and F versions and this i have already

    unfortunately i dont have images of those older variant, moreover not from the nozzle, sorry :sad:

    and this is the only picture i got from the nozzle of the AIM-7A , now i only hope that my interpretation of it is correct

    looking good ! :imhappy:... maybe if someone will has visual problems with your model, he will post some images for future corrections

    there is still one problem though if my intterpretation would be correct do i have to change the AIM-7C to the same nozzle , because they used the same " Aerojet1.8KS 7800 Rocket Engine " ?????

    on the other hand this pictures shows a the same " Rocket Engine " but from a AIM-7B , this motor was donated to the Smithsonian , with a nozzle more close to the one i made for the AIM-7C

    i wish i could have a bit more help to clear this up

    i think you should contact with Raytheon Co.....worth a try

    http://www.raytheon.com/newsroom/media/

    or you should drop a Personal Message to Dave, hopefully he will able to help you with some old USAF photos...maybe not images of missiles but images of aircrafts whitch carrying those missiles...better than nothing

    :good:

  7. Volker im sending you some images of AIM-7s and AIM-120s... (click the dark blue text for download:Click here to start download from sendspace)

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/6x6v5m

    I think you should add some bright weights onto AIM-7M wingtips (need thicker wingtips) and also you should make a greenish connector on missile body between wings (maybe there are on your Sparrow models, but i can't see on your screenshots)

    Otherwise you did incredibly great works :worship:

  8. 3GO-MW Su-27 Flanker model for DCS-World / FC3

    Su-27 Flanker for DCS-World (based on 3GO Su-27 v1.5 model) v.098e-7570

    How to "install":

    (probaly you will need to "reinstall" if the Auto-updater touched your program)

    Put all files into DCS World folder

    and

    Please edit manually the following two files: Graphics.cfg and PlaneConst.lua

    (Step 2., 3., 4. is not essential)

    1.

    Open graphics.cfg file with an editor in DCS World\Config folder and search for these rows:

    ...

    path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\WorldTexturesTGA3";

    path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\WorldTexturesTGA2";

    path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\WorldTexturesTGA";

    ...

    copy and paste this row into graphics.cfg at VFSTexturePaths section near ...WorldTexturesTGA...rows

    path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\Su-27-3GO";

    2.

    Make a backup/copy of your original PlaneConst.lua file in DCS World\Scripts\Database folder

    3.

    you will need to edit PlaneConst.lua file in DCS World\Scripts\Database folder ...search for row ~214 and edit gear position rows:

    it should be look like after you edited:

    -- main_gear_pos = {-0.537, -2.186, 2.168},

    main_gear_pos = {-0.587, -2.16, 2.168},

    radar_can_see_ground = true,

    -- nose_gear_pos = {5.221, -2.186, 0},

    nose_gear_pos = {4.021, -2.175, 0},

    (Nose Wheel and Main Wheel corrections - More real: "nose lowering" movement when braking, tyre "compression" and turning on ground)...known small bug: AI nose tyre touchdown

    4.

    Delete original Su-27 liveries from ...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\su-27

    Backup folders and files included here...Backup-Old-CMD-Su-27

    (original 3D model files will not overwritten, except broken wings and seperated canopy model but these files are also in "Backup-Old-CMD-Su-27" folder)
