For the Germans maybe? Sopwith at least, had them in 1917, maybe earlier? You had to take it with you when you crashed your plane or you'd wished you never made it back!

There's a story to that, but for another day, perhaps...

It's probably great for PvP. For single player or COOP, the AI is still a huge disappointment, coupled with no native career coop mode. In VR, with some friends and the Pat Wilson Campaign Generator, it can be fun in doses...they do claim to be working on the AI, there is a thread on it over on the forums.

I use the included software with my NVidia card that used to be called Shadowplay. I edit it with Pinnacle Studio. Keep in mind that it is capturing the signal output from the card and may not represent what you see in your headset. Here's a recent video I did with it:
That video is a lot sharper than what I am seeing in my headset, so it may or may not capture the shimmer. The good news is that if you have an NVidia card, you can find out for free! Let me know if you want to discuss this more!

With the new version, it would be nice if radiator control was implemented. We already have the nice moving louvers, would be sweet if they did something! In that same vein, it seems that mixture controls are a little under implemented. I can lean mixture after takeoff and the it seems like I don't really have to touch it for the next 10000 feet or so. That doesn't seem to be right? Maybe have it impact engine performance a bit more during the climb and descent if possible?

Don't forget to back it up with your order number somewhere safe!

Hey grinningmonk, make sure to send an email to the WOFF support from their site, they can probably help. Keep in mind they are on GMT, I believe, so they may respond at weird times compared to where you are. Good luck, hope you are sorted out quickly!

22 hours ago, busdriver said:#14 remarks near the end about whether to claim those two Albatros scouts without having a witness: IRL guys like Bishop would make the claim and get credit. I think regular guys file the claim and have it denied. In a situation like yours, I file the claim if I see the bandit on fire screaming toward the ground, crash, or make a forced landing even if it most likely will get rejected. Then I edit the claim details in the Pilot Log Editor to indicate an observation balloon (giving its location relative to NML) witnessed the victory. Like you, I'm not very concerned if I get credit "c'est la guerre."
Nice video.
Thank you!

#11 was good, but YouTube couldn't process the video, which I had never seen happen before, so I had deleted it before I noticed!
