  1. Good work, everyone! Stache: sorry to hear about Reed! I have really enjoyed your videos, I hope you keep up with them! catch, that is fine, we'll imagine he went immediately back to base and landed safely, being sure not to neglect any semi-visible trees on the approach!
  2. Ok guys, as we go into the final week, please everyone alive or dead full out the form!
  3. mandrews_2: NOOOOO! Another good pilot lost to collision! He made a good run and yes, the SE5a is a peach, isn't she? lofty_c: If it was a personal campaign where I was trying to survive the war, I would have just re-flown it, as it was more of a "sim-thing" than a "real-world-likely-to-happen" thing, so it's ok, no broken monitors! *edit: also, I have 250 posts, I thought I should be able to go back and edit my old posts now, but I can't. Was I wrong about that?
  4. HarryH: That's too nice a paint scheme for the limited amount of action you have seen! Still, it is keeping you alive! Hang in there! Lou, we will definitely be ready for some new blood whenever you are able to jump in! Sorry, catch, you posted while I was typing. Great balloon bust! Speaking of balloons, do they seem lower in BHAHII? Also does anybody remember which game actually had them reel the balloons down as you attacked? Was that Red Baron II?
  5. Nice work! I actually feel a little disappointed that I didn't get to run and escort missions in my short career! I actually don't think I have done any since playing BH&HII
  6. Yes, great work and great reports!
  7. That's not a problem, we need some new blood! Uneventful is good for now!
  8. Well, it is a Rick Rawlings Challenge, not a Rick Rawlings Cakewalk! (We'll have to try one of those sometime!) I did j just catch a Stache video on YouTube, so hopefully he'll be around at some point with some more pleasant news!
  9. Indeed! To be fair, those tree tops don't render in until late and the don't read very well against the partial snow tiles, so I wasn't completely careless! I did have a pretty good laugh over it, as it is an oddly appropriate end for me to a challenge based on past experiences...
  10. Thanks guys! Trees are apparently the new fences!
  11. Tim Tully Mission 12 Double Whoops!
  12. You should always read the small print! But you shouldn't try to predict the future!
  13. mandrews_2: Nice work there! Now you'll have something to rattle when you go to see the Beatles, if there is ever such a group... catch: just caught up with both your videos. Really lovely work, both the video production and the fighting!
  14. Great reports, Baldric, and congratulations on you confirmed and bringing back everyone safely, which is even better!
  15. ... It's pronounced Franken-steen... lofty_c: Yes, I think week 2 will be a doozy!
  16. Trooper: Ugg! I hate missions in the dark! carrick: NOOOO! Those trees are a real pain, but more on that later... sorry to see you go!
  17. Tim Tully Mission 10 This one was my fault. I should have checked the time more closely and bumped it back a couple of hours...
  18. TROOPER: NOOOOOOOOO! catch: YESSSSS! This war is all over the place!
  19. That's still cracker-jack for 3 missions! We'll catch it on the next report!
  20. Stache, just got done watching the videos, great stuff! I think like in the first one where all the weather effects are active at the same time, this game can't be beat. The second one could be called "It's Raining Albatroses" . And the last one, great job finding a road on the edge of No Man's Land! I guess we'll see you in 1918!
