There are meetings of groups of young people from Germany and France, who care for the graves of WW1 soldiers. It has been called to life, for that they work on it together, learn to know each other - and that they may see and learn. A majority of people would pay these soldiers and their graves respect - active or passively. Unfortunately you alway find those others, who got of the 'socialising track' - they don't feel the same about anything the communities feel, and they express that in such manner. For all interested in the graves of some of these soldiers, here is a link of amateur photographer Tony Sommer, showing some of the graves (and some aircraft) in PHOTOBUCKET: (you will also find the stone of Robert Alexander Little's grave, and a stone marking the crash site of Albert Ball) http://s991.photobuc...f40/tonysommer/

OMG - am I in? I'm in! Yahooo! I am in the Forum!

Yeah - well, I said it all in the title. I am glad I got in here for now! I must be addicted?! But what the heck - we all are addicted to something. We must breathe, for example. Erik, I know it must be done, and may be hard labour. Don't feel nagged on - it isn't meant that way, okay? It's just that I really love this Forum and it's crew and pilots. -

UncleAl: ...afterall . . . there's a war on That's what I'm thinking - security measures. It must get harder and harder to maintain a Forum, where people from all over the world have access, and keep it safe, I wasn't complaining - just happy to get in. And I noticed, how much I miss you all after only one day of withdrawal: got a 'cold turkey'! -
Aaaarrrghh!!! OMG - Davy TASB, you are an English clown - often hitting below the belt.

Eliminating altitude instead of diving steeply
Olham replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
That sounds good, Herr Prop-Wasche, you're on the right track I think. I'll try your new settings. If not over the weekend (social duties: "Why can't you be spontaneus?" etc.), then I'll do so in the week. I think you seriously try to improve some wrong aspects without making the aircraft perform better than the actually did in real life. As you are a pilot yourself, I believe you know quite a bit about aerodynamics and aircraft midair behaviour. I'm looking forward to your results! -
Hey, the US boys performed good teamplay, I'd say! While England played below their abilities.

Works - thanks! -
Those who never learn, will have to repeat history again and again. May the almighty beware us of that.

Seems about as long as climbing the Mount Everest without an oxygen mask, from what I read.

German Sony Music sucks!!! Your video is not available here, Mike, because it contains music owned by Sony Music. Why don't they realise it could be costless commercials. -
Noob question - where are Screenshots saved to?
Olham replied to Hellshade's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
If you press "print", you may have to insert the pic into a graphic program, but that way you can only do one at a time. The command for "screenshots" can be put on any key I think, check "Controlls" (get there by pressing "escape" ingame). In my case they are on F12. The screens go to this direction on Windows Vista: [your computer name] > documents > CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields -

Yeah - good idea! That adds it to the immersion side. -
Thanks for the reminder and the link, Bullet! Will download it too. OT: saw a film from around your corner recently, which I liked. It's called "From the electric mist", with Tommy Lee Jones. If you have seen it - what do you think about it; is that how it looks in Lousy Anna?

Carrick, if you can still edit your post: please make the link clear from the bracket - otherwise it isn't clickable. -
For the devs: Help for re-download of "Hat in the Ring"
Olham posted a topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Dear OFF Team I have been asked by forum members, how they could make another download of "HitR", if their data got lost. Now I tried to find some link for this on OFF website, but wasn't sure, if the "buy now" button needs to get clicked. So I ended up not being able to help or give advice. That made me think of asking you to guide us in the right direction - how has it to be done? -

THE VINTAGE AVIATOR AIRSHOW 2010 in HD Part Two
Olham replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
That's true, they weren't very fast. But this effect can also be caused by the video capture fraps. If a four-blade propellor makes a quarter turn, a half turn or a full turn from one frame to the next, it would appear like standing still. If it made 1/8 of a turn from one frame to the other, it would appear like turning slower than it actually does. Etc. Hope it makes sense? I'm dizzy now! -
Poll: How good is your hit accuracy?
Olham replied to vonOben's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Thanks, UncleAl - you always know where what is. -
A very touching story about Eddie Rickenbacker - I didn't know it. First I thought, WW II was a mistake, but I assume he was also serving then, as a bomber or recon craft pilot. How much some people go through in their lives...

Poll: How good is your hit accuracy?
Olham replied to vonOben's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Don't know; where can I look it up? But however my accuracy is - the Albatros is mounted with 1.000 rounds (the D.Va with 1.100 even), and I have shot down 7 Pups in one flight with that ammo. Now the question is: am I so good, or is the Pup just so fragile? -
Bullethead: I didn't catch him myself. Bullet, I'm very glad you didn't. I never had to witness anything like this, so I don't know what I would do. But I can understand your feelings about it. No animal would act like that murderer, just because it could. I am glad you didn't catch him though, cause what you might have done in your rage, would have ended with an imprisonment of you much faster, than that guy was sentenced. You wouldn't deserve to experience that only because a mad guy went nuts. And I don't want to miss you here. Hope the Jack Daniels (a good drop!) helped you over the worst.
