Oh my good! Look at that video of the flying Albatros D.V of Josef Mai! Watching it, I just thought: if there is a heaven for fighter pilots, then Josef Mai must leave his cloud and secretly join this pilot, to fly his Albatros once again. What a heartwarming sight! Did I ever mention, that the Albatros is a most beautiful bird? Thank you very much for posting this, rabu!

Didn't know that about the vertical dive, Bullethead - lots of good points there. Hope the devs will take at look at this.

I may do an overclocking with help soon, thank you guys. groumf, there are many different setups possible for the graphics. Since I have an ATI card too (HD 4870) I show you my settings here - feel free to use them. My terrain looks fine, as you may check in "Screenshots" and "Reports from the Front" stickies.

Von Paulus, my system is a self assembled one (assembled by a friend, but I can't ask him - he is against overclocking). Is there a way to check the system, what motherboard I run? Without opening the rig and read what's printed on the board? PS: My CPU is an Intel E8300.

Wonderful work, jwrich! It must be fun to be able to fly those. I tried to do that on a RC model flight simulation in a big model shop. They had it installed with a huge screen, so you could actually try to handle the stearing box. I must admit, I crashed about 20 planes, until I managed to do a landing! Useful sim - you wouldn't want to crash 20 hand built models...

From what I just found in the web, your graphic card is said to be low end. You would want to have a high end card for P3 - maybe even more for P4. The CPU should be over 3 GHz - Winder said, processor speed is good to have. Your system is 4 years old - today you have to change it every two years, at the least. If you want to enjoy your newest sims.

Yes, warping in general went wrong for me only twice, I think. I ended up in the Ardennes both times; still don't know, how that happened, and good advice with having the map on, Hasse Wind. I never dared to do that, cause I expected it to go wrong even easier then. I'll try it. But escort is special. Not your warp goes wrong there - only that you won't be with the 2seats; they are always at the front far earlier, and you have to catch up with them. Which can be too late.

Kenley airfield - I've been there! But in the 80s - there were still the aircraft shelter pits, and the half round taxying way, but apart from that, nothing. Wonder how it looks today.

Hasse Wind, warp and escort don't go together; at least for me. The two-seaters always disappear; also the A-flight.

groumf, 3,2 GHz should be better and possible for you, but please ask the experts.
