Don't forget the AA rockets in American use were on dedicated bomber interceptors equipped with radar. They were never meant to be used against other fighters. I think that would have been pretty effective had they been used as intended advancements in guided missiles just past the use of rockets by.

I wasn't sure since Ive seen rocket pods that have nose caps that "fall" off when fired. I wasn't sure what the limitations on such pods were when it comes to animation.

Wrench has made some great updates to this older model I was just wondering if there were further things that could be squeezed out of this old girl or if a new model is needed.

I'm just curious if there was anyway to make a rocket pod that had retractable missiles? If it's possible I'd love to see someone make replacement wing tip pods for the F-89H Scorpion. I figure it's a long shot but can't hurt to ask. Ideally a completely new F-89 would be great but most aircraft modelers are very busy and TBH while one of the older mods the F-89 Monty did has not aged that badly at all.

I would go with FE2 it's everything FE1+expansion is and it runs more smoothly on more modern computers.As for stock the terrains I use Jan Tuma's plus a few of the newer ones for Italy and Russia. FE1 mods work in FE2 just fine with a few minor adjustments to the file structure and maybe moving a few files here and there.As for the A team site you have to send and email and apply. it sometimes takes a while and you have to remember that applying to the forums and the download section are separate.I'm pretty sure that the only places for FE mods are here and at the A team site. here is HB D.I http://combatace.com/files/file/8627-hansabd1/ There is also a Phoenix built version too.

beautiful stuff.I just love it. These will add so much to the desert war. I have a question. I was wondering if you would give any thought to making some of the Italian vehicle/AAA crews with a more "terrain neutral" head gear? maybe a steel helmet or a field cap rather than the pith helmets. That way they could better integrate into other theaters. just a suggestion
