  3. "Taliban Grouse"

    This is a "What If" nation missile system based off of the real SA-18 Grouse (or what I could find though internets sources).

    It is set for the "Taliban" nation for my Afghanistan install but can be adapted of course for any map or nation:

    [Nationxxx]
    Name=Taliban
    DisplayName=Taliban
    Alignment=ENEMY
    Mercenary=TRUE
    PilotNameList=NamesMercs.lst
    RankList=RanksUSAF.lst
    CallsignList=CallsignsUS.lst
    Formation.Fighter=USFighter
    Formation.Attack=USFighter
    Formation.Bomber=USBomber
    Formation.Transport=USBomber
    Formation.Tank=USTank
    Formation.MobileAD=USAD
    PilotTrainingStandard=EXCELLENT
    GenderRatio=0
    DebriefSuccessMusic=DebriefSuccess.wav
    DebriefFailMusic=DebriefFail.wav
    DebriefKilledMusic=DebriefKilled.wav
    SpeechFile=USAFSpeech.cat
    SpeechTextFile=USAFSpeechText.str
    StartDate=1994

    It uses Pasko's "SAM Gunner" since I have no modeling skills and is setup for SF2. It can be of course adapted for SF1 but that requires a bit of work that can be found in the SF2 Knowledge Base and is a drag and drop as all files and folders are already organized.

    Afghanistan rules of thumb:

    Kandahar-Shindand-Herat-Qala I Naw "ring" stay above 24,000ft MSL + for traveling. When you break that (usually 23,000 ft) you may get shot at. Other areas roughly 22,000 ft MSL + is a good altitude to stay above but again use flares conservatively. It's not very accurate but if enough are fired you will get shot down. I've seen earlier versions of this shred SEAD flights.

    This is strictly for What If scenarios or installs rather than real world setups as so far there is no heavy use of SAMs in-country.

  7. Su-25T Aggressor 1

    This is a fictional skin, of an Su-25T of the 412th AB, 1st Squadron, Eastern MD, 2015. It is completely fictional and based off of the old USAF “European 1” scheme for the A-10A Warthog, before they switched to the two-tone grey scheme currently applied.

    To install this skin simply cut and paste the folder into the “DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries\Su-25T” and go fly. In the Payload Editor this one is named “Aggressor No.1” in the Paint Schemes drop down menu.

  9. Su-25T USAF 74th FS (FT)

    Su-25T USAF 74th FS, (FT)

    While the Su-25T as a whole is a very capable combat jet within its own right, the aircraft will never be as capable as the A-10A or A-10C currently. However it does look good in a splash of European 1 and represents a fictional rendition of the aircraft in the 74th Fighter Squadron, 23rd Fighter Group, the “Flying Tigers”.

    To install this skin simply cut and paste the folder into the Bazar/Liveries/Su-25T folder and in the Payload Editor, select “USAF 74th FS (FT)” and go fly. And for those with the appropriate mod can use this also for the USA side.

  10. Fictional F/A-18F "Lions Head" Skin w/False Canopy

    I have to admit I've been fascinated with the Lions Head emblem ever since I've seen it on a VF-213 Tomcat "101" so I just kinda carry it on to my preferred mount. Requested by ChrisBV, this is a modification of my own personal skin without my additions since it's good looking

  11. Su-25 United Nations [Fictional]

    This was a request and he said it was okay to make it public. Nothing too special as the aircraft is all white with some weathering to break up the color. Other than that it's fairly simple, and with the Su-25 select "Su-25 UN" in the drop down menu for the Paint scheme.

  24. F/A-18E VFA-35 CAG [Fictional]

    This is a skin specifically developed for the F/A-18E Blk I and therefore can work on a Blk II aircraft, only that due to the ECS stacks will look weird. I will upload a version for the Blk II version.

    However it should be noted that there is no such thing as a "VFA-35" (the "parent' unit would have been VA-35, which was disestablished in early 1995) but given I liked the tail insignia I decided to make a fictional version just to shake off the rust.
