Give this a go - works a treat and it's free. It creates virtual cd/dvd drives so no more wearing out your drive.

This is a bit of kit I wouldn't be without and it includes lots of Hard Disk/Partition management tools. UBCD

I dual boot with XP and Win 7. I have 2 hard drives. One is 320GB and that is partitioned 100GB for Win7 + programmes (and it will soon need expanding, I think) and the rest will be used to mess around with Ubuntu. The second hard drive is 1 TB and is partitioned 85GB for XP + programmes and the rest is used for storing data and this partition is regularly backed up to an external hard drive. I also reguarly make an ISO image of my Win 7 installation. I primarily use Win 7 so I'm saving data to a seperate hard disk - a seperate partition would work just the same.

The pizza is great - much better than yucky deep-pan stuff - especially when cooked in traditional pizza ovens. Found a place that offers over 40 different toppings and all the ones I've had there are excellent. Trouble is that it is so popular you need to book early and turning up on the off chance of a table being available ofeten ends in disappointment. Olham, I know I am a lucky blighter and it has just been circumstances/fate that have made it so. It also helps to have family there .

That's warm for Austria this time of year, isn't it? It will be nice if the weather's good but it's the break more than anything at the moment. Just need to chill out by the pool with a cold beer or 2.

As uncleal says, if your using windows 7 try running TrackIR in Administator Mode. If you haven't got win7 then I don't know but someone will come along and solve it for you for sure.

I'll try and get some electrical cleaner tomorrow and give it a go. Funnily enough, Von Paulus, the green light doesn't go out, it's still on. I've tried it in all of my USB ports and no different. At the moment the only other usb devices attached are my backup hard drive and TrackIR. The hard drive is switched off so that leaves TrackIR. I could disconnect that and see what happens if you think it's worth it. It looks more and more like a new JS though.

My woes continue. :suicide2: Downloaded the drivers from Thrustmaster.......no change. Works for a while then no response at all. After exiting OFF and opening "Devices" there is no response there either. The only difference this time was that just before it gave up whilst I was flying, the response to my input was delayed somewhat and then when it did respond it was with way too much movement . So, I'm still open to JS recommendations.

You could combine all but OFF into one hobby......RC flying. That might save you some time .
