You convert the LOD fil to a 3D Max file or 3ds to do the work. Work being that we do have to usally modify the model to get it to work in fleet command. Fleet Command is a lil picky about how many polys and verts there are in a model. Too many and you get a CTD. After you do what has to be done to get the model to work in game, you then convert to a J3D file. That's what FC uses in game.

Also you do usally have to put the model back together after conversion from LOD to Max. Not always but usally.

I remmber you posted a picture of the Des Moines class cruiser. I was wondering if I could use it for Fleet Command if you have released it? Every thing would be treated as I did for your Daring class DD. there's some Sverdlov CA that need blasting.>:-)
