I upgraded from ME to XP, which I like a lot. Problem is, when I had ME, I could Ctrl-Alt-Delete and close out all programs except explorer and systray, so I could free up more resources, but XP is unfamiliar to me, now there are all sorts of processes, and I am unsure what I can close, I was carefull(or so I thought) and closed something that froze the pc, I had to restart. Anyway, does anyone know what all I can close or need to keep open, when I want to play a game? Thanks for any help.

I have the SFP1E, I have installed several aircraft and they are in the game. I have edited the various files, but almost always it says to open the weapons with the weapon editor. The problem is, where is the editor? I don't seem to have it. Can someone point me in the right direction, or explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys. Actually I did find it yesterday by searching the links page. It took me a little bit to figure it out, but it is working beautifully for me now. I was getting a bit frustrated when the readme's would say to open the weapon editor, and I thought it was in the SFP1E. :)

Hello, I just joined, and I d/l the afterburner texture by Twig, and I am not sure how to install it. The readme says to put in the flightdata.cat and back up original. How do I open the .cat file? Do I need a special program or the sdk? Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys!!! I got the SFP1E File Extract Util , and it seems to work. I also d/l some missions, but don't see them in single player.Is this normal, or are they for multiplayer? Thanks again.
