  1. 3rd Wire VA-176 A-1H Template

    A long time project of mine...

    This is my template for the STOCK 3rd Wire A-1H Skyraider. It depict the VA-176 A-1H with the "BEE" scheme. As this is my first skin and did not want to be too complicated, this is a single layer one. With time, i will surely evolve :)

    Just unzip the folder in your object/aircraft/a-1h directory.

    Add the following in the A-1H.ini :

    [TextureSetXXX]
    Directory=VA176BEE
    Name=VA176BEE
    Nation=USN
    Squadron=VA-176 "Thunderbolts"
    Specular=0.000000
    Glossiness=0.000000
    Reflection=0.000000

    XXX stands for the number in sequence.

    I added another squadron patch then the VA-176 one used in the A-1 skin pack made by Wrench. So if you have then (hope you have) you will be able to find mine in the drop down list.

    This skin is for an A-1 right out of the paint shop, so don't expect a dirty one here!

    the template is jpeg format 2048 x 2048.

    Work done on the skin : wings, body, tail, weapons pylons, tail wheel, main wheels, tail hook, engine, propeller and interior of the speed brakes.

    Now it's yours to enjoy!

  2. SF2 T-33A (Canadair CT-133) Silver Star

    SF2 Canadair CL-30 (CT-133) Silver Star

    Based on the SF2 Lockheed F-80C/RF-80C/T-33A Shooting Stars Pak by ErikGen (Ver.2).
    *** For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Recommended/Preferred) ***

    This package contains 1 aircraft for SF2.

    *Note: as this aircraft is built with the latest 3W exporter, they will most likely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen Installs*

    What started as a simple skin (Snowbirds one) quickly came to a multi skin project. Then, after having a lot of RCAF skins, the idea came to do a complete package and here it is!
    Aircraft included, and skins are:

    CT-133 : Complete plane

    Skins :
    1955
    1956 (navy)
    1956 (silver/orange)
    1957
    1958
    1960 (camo)
    1960 (silver/orange)
    1965
    1968
    1970
    1975
    1978
    1982
    1988 (camo)
    1988
    1991
    2002
    Snowbirds support aircraft

    All skins are in DDS format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE for all skins. The serial numbers are 100% accurate, as these really flew in the RCAF.

    The RCAF skins/markings were a real mess up to the 80’s, so these are the common one’s encountered and how they should have look like. In real life, that was not the case every time as there was mix up between skins…

    Drag and drop the files in their respectives folders.

    Special tanks to:

    ErikGen – Base aircraft where the T-33A can be found :

  4. CF-105

    Entirely based on the CF-105 made by FastCargo that can be found here :
    http://combatace.com/files/file/13267-avro-arrow-cf-105-mark-ii/

    I did the panel lines and rivets and did the skin for all 6 aircrafts (initial schemes plus RL-203 extended lines on wings).

    You may use the skin files only or use it as an entire aircraft.

    No decals as they were pre-production birds so everything is put on the skin itself.

    All congrats shall go to FastCargo for putting up a great plane like this and the one's who helped him to make it a reality!

  9. CT-156 Harvard II

    CT-156 Harvard II for SF2

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Based on the T-6C Texan II made by dtmdragon (which is based on Dels work).

    Original dtmdragon plane can be found here : http://combatace.com/files/file/15102-raytheon-t-6c-texan-ii-for-sf2/
    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    This is the CT-156 Harvard II as used by the RCAF 15th Wing for the SF2 series of games.

    To be used on dtmdragon T-6C Texan II ONLY. (have not been tested on Dels planes as the PC-9, AT-6B and T-6A, but some if not all MIGHT work).

    The CT-156 Harvard II is a variant used for pilot instruction in the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC), located at 15 Wing, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They are leased to the Royal Canadian Air Force by the program's administrator, CAE. NFTC's Harvard II aircraft are almost identical in cockpit layout and performance to the American JPATS Texan IIs. Within NFTC, students fly the Harvard II in Phase 2 and 3 of the training program, and some will go on to fly the CT-155 Hawk jet trainer also used by NFTC for Phase 4 (Moose Jaw) and Phase 5 Fighter Lead-In Training (4 Wing, Cold Lake, Alberta). NFTC had 25 Harvard II aircraft owned and maintained by Bombardier, although one was lost following a non-fatal crash in 2011. CAE took over the program in 2015.

    Although the CT-156 is a version of the T-6A, i prefered to use the T-6C Texan II in order to get the version with wing hard points, intelligence/ surveillance/ reconnaissance capabilities, a digital glass cockpit that includes a Head-Up Display, six multi-function displays, Hands On Throttle And Stick. Also, you may use weapons with it while the real aircraft is not intended to use some (in the RCAF).

    These skins represent the scheme used by the RCAF on their CT-156 trainers along with the ''vintage'' scheme use on aircraft 120.

    The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers are real one's.

    You will get the following skins in this package :

    15 Wing :
    Serials 156101 to 156126 (except 156120) : Regular scheme
    Serial 156120 : Vintage scheme

    Two installation choice :

    SKINS ONLY (assuming you have the dtmdragon T-6C already installed):

    Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/aircraft/CT-156/RCAF AND RCAF(156120) folder in your game T-6C aircraft folder.
    Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack decals/CT-156/RCAF folder in your game T-6C decals folder.

    Open the Textureset.ini and edit the file by adding the texture.ini lines. Don't forget to change the file path accordingly.

    COMPLETE AIRCRAFT :

    Copy the CT-156 aircraft folder content to your game aircraft folder.
    Copy the CT-156 decals folder content to your game decals folder.
    Copy the CT-156 pilots folder content to your game pilots folder.
    Copy the CT-156 weapons folder content to your game weapons folder.
    Copy the CT-156 sounds folder content to your game sounds folder.

  10. CT-155 Hawk

    CT-155 Hawk for SF2

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Entirely based on BAe Hawk T.1A Update Pak made by Wrench that can be found here :

    http://combatace.com/files/file/12717-bae-hawk-t1a-for-sf2-by-russouk/
    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    This is the CT-155 Hawk as used by the RCAF 15th Wing for the SF2 series of games.

    I added rivets and did the skin for the CT-155 Hawks (RCAF) currently used by the NATO Training Center.

    You may use the skin files only or use it as an entire aircraft.

    Did not tested it on others Hawks. So it might work or not.

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    The CT-155 Hawk was selected for the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) program because of its similarities to frontline fighter aircraft. Student pilots graduate from the CT-156 Harvard II to this highly advanced jet trainer. Its Rolls-Royce turbofan engine generates more than 6000lbs of thrust and powers the jet to supersonic speeds.

    The Hawk’s sophisticated glass cockpit features:

    a heads-up display (HUD)
    hands-on throttle and stick (HOTAS) controls
    integrated navigation and targeting systems
    With its superior technology, the jet can perform a wide range of high performance training missions.

    NFTC students train on the Hawk during the program’s final stage. Once they’ve logged 125 flight hours, Canada’s student fighter pilots are ready to join 410 Squadron, the Operation Training Unit, which flies CF-188 Hornets.

    Canada is not alone in selecting this modern trainer. Fifteen countries, including the British Royal Air Force rely on the Hawk to prepare their pilots for combat. The United States Navy uses its own version—the T-45A Goshawk—as an advanced trainer for carrier operations.

    sequential number in your file:

    [squadronXXX]
    Name=436SQN
    DisplayName=4 Wing, 436 Squadron
    Nation=Canada

  17. CH-124 Sea King

    CH-124 pack for SF2
     ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Based on the SH-3D AND SeaKingMK41 made by Florian.
     ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    This is the CH-124 Sea King as used by the RCAF for the SF2 series of games.

    The skins represent the schemes used by the RCAF on their CH-124 Sea Kings.

    The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers are real one's.

    You will get the following skins in this package :
    CH-124A        circa 1963
    CH-124B        circa 1974
    CH-124B        circa 1991

    * Note : I did not touched the model, so visually only the CH-124A 1963 variant will look like the real one.  Thanks to Florian who made a change to my CH-124A lod, i am able to depict a CH-124B look alike as the dome radar has been put on the modified LOD. So unless someone is doing modeling work on this bird to add the RCAF goodies like the Flir, sunoboys launchers and a few other things someday, only the skins for the 1974 and 1991 variant will reflect the real birds.

    I HIGHLY recommand to install the complete aircraft as follow.
    COMPLETE AIRCRAFT :

    Copy the CH-124 Objects/aircraft folders content to your game aircraft folder.
    Copy the CH-124 Objects/decals folder content to your game decals folder.
    Copy the CH-124 Objects/pilots folders content to your game pilots folder.
    Copy the CH-124 Objects/weapons folders content to your game weapons folder.
    Copy the files in the CH-124 Objects files to your game objects folder.
    Copy the CH-124 Sounds folder content to your game sounds folder.

    Credits:
    - Thirdwire
    - Florian for the great SH-3D model AND SeaKingMK41. But more for having modified the LOD file so i could depict the ''B'' version.
    - Myself for the decals and rework :)

    Happy flights!

  19. CF-151 (Rafale) * What-If

    Complete aircraft based on JAT81500 terrific Export Rafale Pack v1.0 :

    Fictional Royal Canadian Air Force Rafale Mod for SFP V2 (CF-151)
    This addon represent the folowing versions of the Rafale :
    - Canada (F3+ version)
    *** Same version as India ***
    Rafale EH
    Changed the roundel on the skins and the decals on this pack are  made by me.
    Background :
    As the original Lockheed Martin F-35 Lighting II Canadian Procurement have been froze by the Liberal government after their 2011 election. It's been long speculated which fighter would replace the aging CF-188's of the RCAF. In 2017, the Liberal government announced the 18 Boeing Super Hornet would be bought as interim aircraft to fill the holes of the current Fleet of CF-188's so operational status can be maintained at 100%. As the tender for the replacement still went on, many manufacturers when on the line to win the replacement aircraft contract.
    In the year 2017, Boeing sued Bombardier (Canadian Aerospace Company) over a dispute on aircraft sales (CS-100's below cost) to Delta Airline. Many actors in Canada, USA and even Britain went to defend the Canadian Company that their was nothing wrong by doing so as Boeing did it in the pas itself (like Air Canada Boeing 787). The response by the Canadian Government was to initially re-think the 18 Super Hornet's order. On septembre 25th, the US court stated the Bombardier was at fault and a double 80% sale tax was then charged on every CS-100 sale to the US market. The Canadian response was immediate with cancellation of the Super Hornet buying.
    On september 26th, the Liberal's announced that a new fighter have been chosen for the RCAF. The secret have been well kept in the RCAF and government ranks. The announced was the cancellation of the F-35 Lightning II procurement and the buying of 72 Rafale C (same as EH model of the India Air Force) with armament, support and maintenance for a life span of 30 years. The Rafale C under the RCAF would be called CF-151 Rafale-C and would equipped the 6 Tactical Fighter Squadrons (401, 409, 410, 416, 425 and 433).
    The 12 first planes (serials 151101 to 151112) were delivered as early of 2018 to the 410 Cougars for training and transition of the CF-18 pilots.  Then the other squadrons received their 12 planes each in late 2018- early 2019 time line.
    Here is the 12 serials per squadrons :
    410 Cougars        151101 - 151112
    425 Alouette        151113 - 151124
    433 Porc-Épic        151125 - 151136
    409 NightHawk        151137 - 151148
    416 Lynx        151149 - 151160
    401 Ram            151161 - 151172

    All decals are made by me. I redraw the panel lines and rivets.
    Serials are real one's but not squadron specific.
    Background :
    The Canadian version of the Lockheed Neptune (P2V7) served as an anti-submarine, anti-shipping and maritime reconnaissance aircraft in the RCAF Maritime Air Command from 1955, replacing the Avro Lancaster maritime aircraft. The Canadian P2V7 was fitted with piston engines initially, although, in 1959, the Neptunes had two underwing Westinghouse J34 jet engine pods retrofitted, similar to those fitted to US Navy variants. Armament included two torpedoes, mines, depth charges, bombs carried internally plus unguided rockets mounted externally underwing. A total of 25 Neptunes served with nos. 404, 405 and 407 squadrons until 1960. Upon unification of the Canadian Forces in 1968, the Neptune was retired and retroactively re-designated the CP122, The RCAF Neptune was replaced by the Canadair CP-107 Argus in the same year.
