  1. Lahatut Over Israel SF2

    'Lahatut' Hughes 500E/500MD TOW Defender Ver 2.0 for SF2
     
    This is a third party add on of the Israeli version of Hughes 500 model helicopter using models and cockpits created by me.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
    I have just modified it a bit.
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.

    This is second version of my previous Lahatut.
    It is updated in lod, data.ini,skins,decals etc.
    New decal sets covering all 36 numbers.
    I have added also Lahatut 500E unarmed version.
     

    Ive named both aircrat diferently than previous ones to avoid confusion.
    Highly recomended to delete old one.
     
    Do not mix old and new files...as it will not work well.
     

    ******************IMPORTANT******************
     
    This addon works only with my WeaponPACK (included in rar file). All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
     
    Animations.
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light on/off at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting.
     
    ANIMATION 8 - front left door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 9 - front right door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - rear door. (disabled in _data.ini file)
     
    ANIMATION 1 - If needed you can activate old XM70 sight to aim hydra rockets. In fact MD500 defender was offered for sale also with M27 Minigun and XM70 sight but I am not sure if IAF ever bought minigun subsystem.
     
    Like in previously realased loaches here also you can realy fly low and slow. This helo got little more power due to higher weight compared to old OH-6A
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here is to control using rudder and vector thrust control.
     

    Skins.
    All numbers are historicaly correct and are based on available photos. But I am not sure if those numbers are 100% correct for specific unit.
    Tayeset 160. First operational unit of Lahatut. It was used by 160Sq during first Lebanon War with AH-1S(mod)
    Tayeset 161.
    Tayeset 190. Formed in 1985 with aircrafts transfered from 160 and 161 sqns.
    Flight School also aquired few aircrafts in mid 90s.
     
    Weapons.
    TOWs - BGM-71 A/B/C/D.
    M260 7 tube rocket launcher with several different warheads.
     
    Weapons are the same as in previous helicopter packs, so if you downloaded AH-1S(mod) no need to copy weapons.

  2. AH-1G Wings Over Vietnam-SF1

    This is a third party add on of the AH-1G Cobra using models and cockpits created by me.

    For SF2 You have to separete Decals folders.
    There is a plenty of tutorials how to convert to SF2 series.
    For now temporary i dont have posibility to convert and work on SF2 sim. Temporary.

    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
     
    AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed in late models
    - nose lights activate/deactivate in early model. Lights must on.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
     
     
    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be
     
    like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick
     
    lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector
     
    as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is good cruising
     
    speed. Use vector throttle to control speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and
     
    unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not
     
    working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just
     
    to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion
     
    best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
     
     
    I made all Mk40 FFAR rockets with different look of warhead. Two versions low poly with
     
    colors in max and hi-detail with skins. But i just noticed that i did not pack hi-detailed
    versions. I will upload it little later in weapon pack update.
    I have redone all weapons - launchers M159,157,158,M200, and some navy LAUs. Gunpods M18
    and navy SUU-11. XM118 smoke dispenser and also zuni LAU for future.
    Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options.

    In Spanish AH-1G Z-14 model folder there is seperate folder with additional weapons made for Spanish model. It should be instaled same way as other weapons.

    Outboard TOW pylons. You can load 4 or 8 BGM-71 Missiles. Upper M65 launcher is made as StationGroupID=3 and lowwer M65 launcher is StationGroupID=4. Either you can load only on upper launcher or both lower and upper.
    Of course loading onl on lower without upper will look silly. But this is thirdwire game engine. We can't change it. Unfortunately in loadout menu option for 2 BGM-71 will appear. Well i don't know how to limit station to load only on weapon rack. Do not use it also. It doesn't look good. And missile has no launching tube.
     
    Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options.

    There is skin only for 11 ACR in Europe. Well Q was upgraded to S(MOD) quickly so not much info to find about Q in units.
    All serial numbers are proper for Q model but am not sure if these numbers appeared in 11th ACR.
    15086 for sure was there.
     
     
    This pack contains already weapons folder. There you will find 2 new weapons and one weapon rack for this Q model Cobra.

    TOW launcher tubes.
     
    Also you have to download my WeaponPACK for AH-1G so this helo can work properly. Otherwise there will be no rocket pods, guns etc.

    This addon works only with my WeaponPACK (Included in rar file) All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
     
    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
     
    AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed in late models
    - nose lights activate/deactivate in early model. Lights must on.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    WARNING!

    This is totaly new file. I highly recomend to backup your old files. OR just delete all old files.
    This is totaly new files and will not work in many parts with old.
     
    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.

    For Spanish AH-1G Z-14/HA.14 Cobra there is seperate folder with additional weapons made for Spanish model. It should be instaled same way as other weapons.

    There is skin only for 11 ACR in Europe. Well Q was upgraded to S(MOD) quickly so not much info to find about Q in units.
    All serial numbers are proper for Q model but am not sure if these numbers appeared in 11th ACR.
    15086 for sure was there.
     
    Weapons.
    All weapons are reskined. TOW models are new.
    Most of the weapon are same as in previous packs and are common to G/Q/S/P model.
    Including XM158 and M200 launchers.
    TOWs BGM-71A/B
     
    One more thing. I am using mostly standard weapon effects.
    Make sure to edit it your way if you decide to use this weapons.
     
    CHANGES to previous version:
    New skins, fixed some details on model, fixed some ini lines.
    TOW Weapons redone.
    Changed loadouts,
    TOW launchers are part of airframe, now it is loaded diferent way then before and not using weapon rack.

    To take off from ship.
    Increase throttle realase brake.
    Or.
    Incrase throttle around 75% of throttle vector controll and then realase brake.
    Landing on ship.
    Aproach. Reduce speed using throttle vector controll. Realase hook. Slowly aproach matching speed with vessel and reducing altitude to deck height. Hit deck. Needs practice but it is easy.
     
    Catapult on deck are set 10cm higher than regular deck level. So aircraft is 'hovering' 10cm above deck. It must be this way since these vesseles are not supportin aircraft carrier operations. It is just fooling game engine.
     
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct and based on available documents.
     

    I divided models into three sub packs. Weapons,guns,sounds are common to every part.

    semi fictional skins (serial numbers are correct for J mode but not sure all of them apeard in HMA -169
    HMA-169 'World Famous Vipers' Two skins early green and mid-late 80s tri color version.
    This unit used AH-1J until 1986. This skin is based on photos but serial numbers are not 100% correct. Those are real SeaCObra numbers but fictional for this unit. However numbers started with 159 were present in this unit.
     

    Optional files:
    Two navy ships LHA and LPD class. Converted to USMC service. So in single mission, player flight will start from ship. (Water map needed)
    Both with landing deck.
    Experimental lights on deck of LPD class ship. Credits to Fubar for his carrier lights pack.
     
    Weapons included.
     
    One more thing. I am using mostly standard weapon effects.
    Make sure to edit it your way if you decide to use this weapons.
     
    During late 70 Marines tested scoop exhaust like US Army on G model. There are just a few photos with this mod.
    Here in game it will apear for a while in 1976-1978. It doesn't do anything. Since there is no IR suppresion in game. It is just for look and fun factor.
     
    In 80's model there is ALQ-144 IR Jammer. Since ther is no IR Jamming in game it is just very weak jammer. you can turn it on but don't count on jamming.
     
    Pilots:
    I am using usnpilots by OldDiego. Not included.
    SOme pilots models might be too big for this helo.

    Copy all files into specific folders.

    For M197gatling sound copy the lines from SOUNDLIST ADDON to your soundlist ini file.

    This is a third party add on of the OH-6A CAYUSE using models* and cockpits created by me.
    *External model is build by my friend Tomek Wachowski and me, years ago for differnt purpose. Fortunately he found some early work files on his hard drive and brought to me. With some work i was able to bring it back to life. Technicaly it is 80% new model compared to original old one flying somewhere out there.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
    I have just modified it a bit.
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
    Few thing still needs to be done here. But I decided to upload it already.

    Standard commands for activating Loach features:
     
    OH-6A Loach:
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting.
     
    A2Ground mode - M70E1 gunsight.
     
    In OH-6A Cayuse model XM70E1 gunsight will apear in cockpit and external model only when gun is loaded on weaponstation.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse only:
     
    ANIMATION 8 - front left door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 9 - front right door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - rear door.
     
     
    This helicopteris build in two variants. First is ‚clean’ out of factory OH-6A Cayuse. Just small scout chopper. This is additional aircraft to main file here.
    OH-6A Cayuse as seen on many photos from Vietnam War. Known also as Loach.
    In this model you can switch to rear gunner positionand actualy really hit ground targets with M60. You just have to aim throug rear – front sight line. Like in real gun.
    It is not prefect but this game as you know is not supporting choppers, double cockpits and many many more things. So this time again it is just to have at least good feeling.
     
    Gunner is made as internal weapon not weapon station. This way is better. Gunner is set as SECONDARY GUN by default.
     
    You can really fly low and slow. And in Pink Team just mark targets for Cobra wingman.
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important her to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
     
    Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.
    Paint schemes and markings. I was trying to be acurate as much as possible in paint schemes and markins. Some skins for unit are generic because there were some little diferences within unit itself. Plus this schemes represents aircrafts used bu units during 2-3 year of service.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse standard olive green paint with two serial numbers.
     
    OH-6A Loach. Here i was trying to match my AH-1G Cobra.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.

    Story about Weapon systems.
    Internal. Gunner with M60 400 round of ammo.
    No flash by default. Because with cocpit movement on gunner station it apear somewhere on elbow. better when it is not there. It can be easy changed by setting entry on M60 in aircraftdata.ini to TRUE
     
    Additional Weapons.
    - Weapon Station 1
     
    XM27E1 – M134 Minigun
    M27 - as above redesignated an unfaired Minigun M134 since 1969.
    XM8 – M129 40mm automatic grenade launcher. Not seen in Vietnam.
     
     
    Plus some extra weapons that were spotted on photos from Vietnam War.
     
    - Weapon Stations 2 & 3
    Up to two single tubes for Mk40 FFAR rockets attached on skids, with different warhead rockets. M151, M156, M229, M255A1, M259, M257, M247.
     
    - Weapon Station 6
    Experimental quad launcher unit developed by Rock Island Arsenal attached inside cargo compartment. Similiar to system mounted later in exported versions of H-500 Series. Very rare, seen on few pictures from Vietnam War but it was there.
    Do not mix Weapon station 2 and 6 on loadouts menu. Meaning to be correct 2 or 1 single tube OR Quad launcher.
     
    - Weapon Station 7
    Most interesting is 7 tube XM158 launcher attached to XM27 susbsytem instead of 7.62mm minigun. Very rare field mod probably instaled only on one aircraft (no. 67-16321). I just used two versions with M151 and M156 warheads.
     
    - Weapon Stations 4 & 5
    Smoke grenades. DO NOT GIVE THEM TO WINGMAN.
    Just five colours of smoke grenades, Yellow, White, Green, Red, Violet. I am not sure if this will support available color smoke effects. So probably wil need to create new smoke effects or mod smoke grenades.
     
    - Weapon Station 8
    Exhaust modification in late Loaches. Starting 1972 when SA-7 was threatening US crews this mod was often instaled on scout choppers. Same purpose as on late G Cobra models. I will apear on aircraft by default starting 1973 due to loadout.ini file.
     
    - Weapon Stations 9, 10, 11, 12.
     
    Not to be used on OH-6A !
    Purpose of this is to play Pink Team on single mission with armed AH-1G Cobra.
    In single mission on loadout menu you can change wingman aircraft to any available AH-1G Cobra and arm it with designated weapons for Cobra. If you don't like this option you can easly disable this by puting \ mark in data.ini file in front of weapon station entry.

    Plus new version of slow/fast rotor.
     
    Also new cockpits included for both 69 and 80 versions.

    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
     
    AIRBRAKES - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - deploy arresting hook to land on aircraft carrier.
     
    LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to fold before shooting.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M60 gunsight cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)

    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
     
    To take off from ship.
    Increase throttle realase brake.
    Or.
    Incrase throttle around 75% of throttle vector controll and then realase brake.
    Landing on ship.
    Aproach. Reduce speed using throttle vector controll. Realase hook. Slowly aproach matching speed with vessel and reducing altitude to deck height. Hit deck. Needs practice but it is easy.
     
    Catapult on deck are set 10cm higher than regular deck level. So aircraft is 'hovering' 10cm above deck. It must be this way since these vesseles are not supportin aircraft carrier operations. It is just fooling game engine.

    Unlike the G model here on Sea Cobra gun is already part of airframe. This way is better for J model.
    If you have downloaded G model plus weaponPACK before rocket pods and gun pods are working fine here.
    For 80's model version there is folder with specific weapons. LAU-68/61 for MK66 Hydra plus AN/ALE 39 CMDs
    Mk66 Hydra rockets with different warheads included.
    LAU-10D/A launchers and MK71 Zunis. Also included in pack. However there is already existing great hi-poly hi-detailed version of LAU-10 and Zunis by Ravenclaw. If you wish you can use them by editing ini files. My Zuni rockets are little more FPS friendly.

    LANDING GEAR - skid search light on/off at any speed. Dont forget to retract it because you wil be not able to shoot.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station TSU guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)

    ANIMATION 1 - NVG (It is not nvg but some greent filter) If you don't like it disable it in cockpitini file.
     
    Added eye candy parking animation.
     
    Technicaly it is still old G/Q model with few upgrades. Bell enginers just put additional 400horse power, new tail gearbox with tail rotor and
     
    some avionics upgrades. Here I also added some extra power.
    For almost 10 years all new cobra was always S but different modification step model. This one was designated S(Mod) but after 1987 (when they
     
    were already extra confused by step models) Army simplified designation system and this one become just S model.
    Sometiems S(mod) is refered also as Q. But S(mod) had few visual differences compared to previous model. It also received AN/APR-39.
    Tail rotor and tail rotor housing are borrowed from Marine J model. Inlet screens are removed already from this model onward.
    In mid 80's lot of S(mod) were sent inot National Guard units. At this point they received wire strike protection system. Some were also equipped
     
    with nvg. But still TSU has no nvg capability so it was not much of real night fighter.
    Some S(Mod) gained C-NITE system for night targeting but it is not in my model.
     
    In late 80s some National Guard birds received K-747 blades but it is not here.

    NVG.
    Unfortunately there is no NVG in this game.
    I just added green "filter" to cockpit and you can activate it by default Animation 1 key.
    In external view ther will be little change in cockpit- unfortunately not moving with pilot/guner head.
    In copit view there is green glow and filter It is definitely not helping during night flight but this is beta version. Maybe one day real nvg

  12. AH-1P / S(Prod) Cobra TOW ver.2016

    BELL AH-1S(Prod) COBRA Ver 2.0 for SF2

    This is a third party add on of the AH-1S(Prod) Cobra using models and cockpits created by me.

    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
     
    AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - skid search light on/off at any speed. Dont forget to retract it because you wil be not able to shoot.

    Airfield eye candy blades animation.
     

    Technicaly it is old S model with few upgrades. It has new 1st version of flat plate canopy. Rest things remain same as in previous S(mod) Cobra. In 1987 S(Prod) Cobra was redesignated AH-1P.
    In mid 80s some birds received K-747 blades. Here represented by 78 model.
     
    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
     
    NVG.
    Unfortunately there is no NVG in this game.
    I just added green "filter" to cockpit and you can activate it by default Animation 1 key.
    In external view ther will be little change in cockpit- unfortunately not moving with pilot/guner head.
    In copit view there is green glow and filter It is definitely not helping during night flight but this is beta version. Maybe one day real nvg will be possible here. If you dont like it disable it in cockpit.ini file. This feature apears only in National Guard 85 model and bonus,

    WARNING!
     
    This is totaly new file. I highly recomend to backup your old files from AH-1G mod and old AH-1 S mod. OR just delete all old files.
    This is totaly new files and will not work in many parts with old.
     
    In 1974 Israel aquired for test 6 war weary AH-1G Cobra. It saw some combat in newly formed squadrons. After positive feedback abput new aircraft it was sent back to USA for upgrades.
    In 1979-1980 Israel received back rebuilded to S(mod) standard 6 aircrafts (rebuild of G model they purchased in 1975. 3 were sent to 160Sq and 3 to 161Sq. Zahal used them during operation Peace for Galilee in 1982. Finaly around 1987 these 6 aircrafts were also rebuild into newer model. One original S(Mod) is still in museum.

  14. OH-6A Loaches Over ...SF1

    This is a third party add on of the OH-6A CAYUSE using models* and cockpits created by me.
    *External model is build by my friend Tomek Wachowski and me long time ago for differnt purpose. I just remodeled it a lot for use in this game. Technicaly it is 80% new model compared to original old one.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
    I have just modified it a bit.
    It is designed for and works in SF1 series. Flight model is copy from SF2. Here in SF1 somehow works different and I can not set it SF2 way. Sorry guys I tried, but no good result. Someone has to sit on FM here.
     
    Please report if any LOD file is not ok. I've exported everything again into SF1 standard but I could miss something. If ever something is wrong sorry for that. Report and I will fix it.

    OH-6A Loach:
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting.
     
    A2Ground mode - M70E1 gunsight.
     
    In OH-6A Cayuse model XM70E1 gunsight will apear in cockpit and external model only when gun is loaded on weaponstation.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse only:
     
    ANIMATION 8 - front left door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 9 - front right door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - rear door.
     
     
    This helicopteris build in two variants. First is ‚clean’ out of factory OH-6A Cayuse. Just small scout chopper. Second is OH-6A Cayuse as seen on many photos from Vietnam War. Known also as Loach.
    In this model you can switch to rear gunner positionand actualy realy hit ground targets with M60. You just have to aim throug rear – front sight line. Like in real gun.
    It is not prefect but this game as you know is not supporting choppers, double cockpits and many many more things. So this time again it is just to have at least good feeling.
     
    Gunner is made as internal weapon not weapon station. This way is better. Gunner is set as secondary weapon by default.
     
    You can realy fly low and slow. And in Pink Team just mark targets for Cobra wingman.
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right it is realy easy.
     
    Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.
    Paint schemes and markings. I was trying to be acurate as much as possible in paint schemes and markins. Some skins for unit are generic because there were some little diferences within unit itself. Plus this schemes represents aircrafts used bu units during 2-3 year of service.
     
     
    OH-6A Cayuse standard olive green paint with two serial numbers.
     
    OH-6A Loach. Here i was trying to match my AH-1G Cobra.
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct.

    Story about Weapon systems.
    Internal. Gunner with M60 400 round of ammo.
    No flash by default. Because with cocpit movement on gunner station it apear somewhere on elbow. better when it is not there. It can be easy changed by setting entry on M60 in aircraftdata.ini to TRUE
     
     
    - Weapon Station 1
     
    XM27E1 – M134 Minigun
    M27 - as above redesignated an unfaired Minigun M134 since 1969.
    XM8 – M129 40mm automatic grenade launcher. Not seen in Vietnam.
     
     
    Plus some extra weapons that were spotted on photos from Vietnam War.
     
    - Weapon Stations 2 & 3
    Up to two single tubes for Mk40 FFAR rockets attached on skids, with different warhead rockets. M151, M156, M229, M255A1, M259, M257, M247.
     
     
    - Weapon Station 6
    Experimental quad launcher unit developed by Rock Island Arsenal attached inside cargo compartment. Similiar to system mounted later in exported versions of H-500 Series. Very rare, seen on few pictures from Vietnam War but it was there.
     
    Do not mix Weapon station 2 and 6 on loadouts menu. Meaning to be correct 2 or 1 single tube OR Quad launcher.
     
    - Weapon Station 7
    Most interesting is 7 tube XM158 launcher attached to XM27 susbsytem instead of 7.62mm minigun. Very rare field mod probably instaled only on one aircraft (no. 67-16321). I just used two versions with M151 and M156 warheads.
     
    - Weapon Stations 4 & 5
    Smoke grenades. DO NOT GIVE THEM TO WINGMAN.
    Just five colours of smoke grenades, Yellow, White, Green, Red, Violet. I am not sure if this will support available color smoke effects. So probably wil need to create new smoke effects or mod smoke grenades.
     
    - Weapon Station 8
    Exhaust modification in late Loaches. Starting 1972 when SA-7 was threatening US crews this mod was often instaled on scout choppers. Same purpose as on late G Cobra models. I will apear on aircraft by default starting 1973 due to loadout.ini file.
     
     
    - Weapon Stations 9, 10, 11, 12.
     
    Not to be used on OH-6A !
    Purpose of this is to play Pink Team on single mission with armed AH-1G Cobra.
     
    In single mission on loadout menu you can change wingman aircraft to any AH-1G Cobra available and arm it with designated weapons for Cobra. If you don't like this option you can easly disable this by puting \ mark in data.ini file in front of weapon station entry.

  15. AH-64A Peten Over Israel SF2

    Boeing AH-64A Peten mod Ver 1.0 for SF2
     
    DISCLAIMER
    ----------
    This is a third party add on of the AH-64A Apache using models and cockpits created by Dels.
    Flight model and specific Israeli Peten mod was made by me.
     
    It is designed for and works in the SF2 series of games.
     
    This mod is made because of new upgraded Israel 2 Terrain by Wrench. - highly recommended by the way. Instead of working on Something Completely Different i was mixing with this great helo by Dels. So here it is.
     
    AH-64A Peten mod is made as specific aircraft for Israel. Nation Name is changed to Israel and service start date set to 1990.
    It was in my mind just simple mod (at the begining) but ended as little more complex. It is not perfect, but so far it works for now.
    I have changed FM my way. So there is a lot of changes in data file.
    It has a new engines system, new weapon stations, countermeasures and some other stuff.
    I have also put life into TADS and PNVS. Just fun in external view.
    And the most important thing is bumps, dispensers and whistles of Israeli Apache.
    I wanted to make two paint versions so fake pilot is not much help here. So Peten mod is added by weaponstation. Anyway gun is always on board. So this is how it works here.
     
    Some small changes into cockpit ini file.
    Also new Fuel tanks (CARC green and IAF tan) are provided plus M260 and M261 rocket launchers with different warheads. (same as in Cobra packs)
     
    Use vector thrust controll, rudder and controll throttle. It is easy to fly right now.
    Still working on better FM.
     
    WEAPONS
    -------------
     
    The AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and rails included in this package come from FastCargo's excellent "Hellfire and BrimStonefor SFP1/WOV/WOE (Version 1.1)".
    All credit to FC for them, Dels have arranged them in folders for SF2 and made some minor .ini changes. Dels also made the AGM-114K Hellfire II using FC's AGM-114A model.
     
    I made Hellfires as specific station code for IAF. Also skins are without US ARMY markings. So better to use this as it wil not overwrite anything in you weapons directory. Unless you named it same as me.
     
    Hellfire rails are made by FastCargo. I just rename it. I had some issues with loadouts. So again here you should depend on loadout.ini file.
    It always uses two rails upper M272 with two hellfires (up) and lower M299 (with two hellfires on bottom rails only)
    I don't know why but on loadout with 4 hellfires on M299 - in game it was always 3 shown. Strange.
    So to avoid conflicts with previous hellfire rails I made them as specific station code only for Peten.
     
    I am always using Specific station code so I don't have mess in Loadout menu. I can only see weapons that I can/need to carry.
     
    M260 and M261 Rocket launchers. There are two versions of these launchers CARC green and IAF Tan. Same as in my Cobra packs. You can overwrite (recomended). The only change here is display names. To avoid conflicts in loadout menu with previous launchers I changed CARCgreen to M260/M261.warhead.name.US and IAF Tan to M260/M261.warhead.name.IDF. You can overwrite. It wil still works with cobras and here with Peten and no mess with display names.
    Launchers uses my Mk66 hydra rockets. Also here in pack. Same as in latest Cobra packs.
     
    Important here is M230 ChainGun. It is a key to have a Peten mod for early green and late IAF camo.
    Gun is loaded by weaponstation. Also coded.
     
    New sound file for M230 is provided, with specific data entry into SOUNDLIST.ini.
     
    Stingers are available for loadout but i did not put it into loadout.ini. I never seen IAF Apaches with Stingers. Not much hostile flyers there ?
    No other IRM/ARM weapons allowed.

    30MM_M230 same as in original Dels package but with edited sound file name.

    113 Tayeset as they started to use Peten in 1990 and later also 190 Tayeset starting 1995.

    Standard commands for activating Loach features:
     
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting.
     
     
    ANIMATION 10 - Show/hide doors. If ever you will fly in cold enviroment and feel uncomfortable, you can fly with front doors instaled, It doesn't do anything. And will not help you. It's just for different look in winter.
     
    ANIMATION 1 - 'NVG'
     
     
    You can realy fly low and slow. It needs practice.
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here is to use rudder and vector thrust control.
     
    Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and arehistoricaly correct.
     
    Two birds flew during operation Urgent Fury 68-17191 and ...(dont rememr right now second bird number).
     
    Weapons.
    XM27 – M134 Minigun
    M260 7 tube rocket launcher. First years of operation with mk40 rockets and later Mk66 rockets.
    Since M260 could fire Mk40 and Mk66 rockets here are two types. Early ears older and later new hydra rockets.
     
    There is no gunsight for this helo. Acording to one of the pilots they were using "grease pencil mark on the windscreen, . And practicing shooting this way ". So here it is embeded to windshield. During night with 'nvg' it will glow a little.

    This is a third party addon of SA.341 and SA.342 Gazelle helicopter.
    This is orignal model by BPAo moded by me.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters modified by me. I am not using airbrakes or flaps but flying fast and slow is stil possible, even hovering with little practice.

    This is highly modified SA-341 Gazelle by BPAo (TMF). Lucky, thanks to Crusader I had access to original max file. So I could work a little on this great helo. At first I was planing only to rebuild middle east Gazelles to have some balance of power in Wings Over Israel game. But having oportunity to work on file brought me at this point. And I decided to go with French Gazelles first.
    Generaly model is almost the same as old one. My work was to add some parts here and there (rwr,cable cutters, new athos, some internal parts, skids etc..). Rearanged animations and added new. Weapons/pylons are part of airframe. Ive added new rotor. Also I've rearanged UVW mapping. So basicaly skins are 70% new.
     
    I was putting some hangar/loading screenies but finaly it covers only few models. Rest must be done in future.
     

    This mod represents few versions of Gazelle.
    Unarmed called 'Lisse'. Early 1973 version without APX-397 sight and late already equipped with 'Athos'
    Armed with 20mm cannon called 'Canon' and Version armed with HOT missiles usually called HOT but here it is split into two models; one with Athos sight and second with Viviene.
    Also you can find here Air to Air escort version -early called 'Celtic' and late called "Mistral"
    Mistral/Celtic version is set as attack role and has similar aircraft dutties as attack version plus escort. Thing is that you may consider changing role only to recon/escort as it will not perform well agianst ground targets.
     
     
     
    ******************IMPORTANT******************
     
    This addon works with my WeaponPACK (included in rar file). Most of pylons/launch rails are part of airframe. So in weapons folder you have to put only ini files. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course you can edit and use any other weapons availalbe.
     
    Weapons included:
     
    SA.341F2 'Canon'
    NC621 20mm automatic canon. Two verson low and high RPM rate.
    By default in loadout.ini it is low-rpm always. Better do not give hi-rpm to wingman.
     
    SA.341M 'HOT' Sometimes called as SA.341F 'HOT' first model equipped with HOT missiles. Only 40 build because of underpowered engine. Somehow it was in use and passed form unit to unit until 90's - HOT-1,2,3 missiles.
     
    SA.342L1 'Celtic'/'Mistral'
    Mistral Air to air missiles.
     
    SA.342M and M1
    HOT-1,2,3 missiles.
     
    All late versions have stations for flare launchers, suppresed exhaust and/or engine intake filter.
     
     
     
    IMPORTANT THING ABOUT WEAPONSTATIONS.
     
    F2 'Canon' and M/M1 version 90 and 93 have weaponstations calling for use Mistral ATAM.
    THIS IS NOT for use on those helos. It is to have possibility to assign L1 Celtic/Mistral for wingman to have Air to air escort. So do not use it on F or M version as it will not apear there.
     
    Cocpits.
    All versions have dedicated cockpits. It is simplified and unified version of Gazelle cockpit.
    In every pit you can switch from pilot to co-pilot/weapon operator seat.
    On co pilot seat you have access to 1x "binocular" sight Athos/Viviane. By choosing radar on you will have "sniper" zoom. I dont know how many x zoom is that. It's zooming. And it is acurate somehow. With little practice you can even hit targets from 1-1.2 km.
    aiming crosshair is 'what if' since I never found the look of real one
     
    In HOT equipped version by selectiong HOT missile sight will lock on target as all HOT missiles are made as EOGR.
     
    As Mistral and Celtic are escort versions ther is not much features in cockpit.
     

    Animations and standard commands:
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed.
     
    ANIMATION 1 - right side door.
    ANIMATION 2 - left side door.
    ANIMATION 3 - rear doors.
     
    Thereis also parking animation that works only when aircraft will be placed by game engine on airfiled as parked aircraft.
     
    Flying.
    As with all my previous helos flying is quite easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    Normaly throtle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 55% wait little and then increase to 100% and helo will take off nicely. 341 version got little less power in engine.
     

    Skins.
    There is just few skins but lot of use of it in few units. So it is more about decals assigned.
    All serial numbers are based on available photos and ALAT documents and are historicaly correct.
    I was trying to put all real units with real codes/numbers for specific year. Not always easy.
    There is still some numbers missing.
     
    Inside there is seperate folder Called "Operation_Dauget'
    Inside you will find skins made for use with ODS mod for SF2.
    It contains skins and decals for some units during French part of Operation Desert Storm. French codename for his operation was Dauget.
     
    Only thing you have to do is coppy all files exept skin folders and use it in you ODS mod. Also specific loadouts for this period are provided. Due to hot climate/engine power, ALAT used only two HOT missiles. Same thing nearly ten years earlier during operation Manta in Tchad.

    If you already have this pack. You can download just update data.ini of each aircraft. file Updated_Aircraft_Data_only.rar
     
    Please copy data.ini file of aircraft model into specific folder in game mod folder.
    Do not use Data.ini of on emodel on other. Even if file name is same.
    Example.
     
    RC-135U_70 got different data.ini file than model _80 or _90.
    So you need to copy each aircraft data.ini file from each folder of this update into yours game folders.
    Just keep this in mind to avoid mess with fake pilot RC mods.
     
    Or you can download whole updated pack and overwrite yuor game files.
     
    If you are downloading it for the first time. No need to download update. It has already updated ini files.

    This is Beta version which means:
     
    - I never finished avionics work. I was trying to do something but lack of time...and it will take me months. So ther is no specific avionics for every model. Just one generic. And it is not working. It really needs some avionics work.
     
    - Skins could be better. I just simple deleted some lines here and there but I've never put so much attention to weathering etc.
     
    - Cokpit is from B-52. Just for test flights. It is included. I don't remember who made this. All credit to him.
     
    - All birds are set as Bobmer so they can fly high.
     
    - For sure it needs some ini work.
     
    - It need still some work. But only if i will find time. Better to upload it now than never. So for now it is realased as in condition.

    All serial numbers are historicaly correct. Same as names.
    All aircraft were names as code + number "Combat Sent II or Cobra Ball I etc.) I have no information about everything. Info about any of it would be great. Especialy about Rivet Card.
     
    Since whole mod is made via fake pilot there are some limitations.
    Biggest "no" for me is first S- Cobra Ball where 663 and 664 carried little different set of sensors.
     
    Some aircrafts were upgraded later than other in same model group. So service date is generic as first aircraft of block build was issued.
    Example: first Cobra Ball was flying already 1969 (663 number) but second (664 number) was delivered in 73 if I remember correctly. Same with other aircrafts, they were never delivered same year.

  19. RA-5C Vigilante Over Vietnam

    This is simple skin pack for RA-5C Vigilante over Vietnam.
    RA-5C and RVAH squadrons deployed 33 times in SEA during Vietnam War.
    But in this pack you have one painting for every year of service during Vietnam War. Diferent units. Some wil apear twice like RVAH-11 and 12. As extra for 1966 there are two skins. So everything is 12 skin sets.
    Actualy there is not much of skin differences here. Most work is in the decals section.
     
    Pack includes:

    * Here are two paint schemes for one year. First works from January to June second July - December of 1966.
    At the beginig all 6 aircrafts of unit were paintet in experimental camo. Later they chenged to original grey over white paint scheme. So here in single mission pack green camo will apear only unitl end of June 1966 and then standard grey/white camo for RVAH-6.
     
    All serial numbers are historicaly correct and matched with modex number. (Hope)
    If I was not sure or have no information about number/modex it is marked on number.lst file.
    During service many RA-5C were lost. My tailnumbers mostly are original unit deployment before any replacemnt was done.
     
    All skins are original from Julhem exelent RA-5C Vigilante V3.0.
    I just resized skins and converted them into jpgs. Also I repainted some areas near cockpit. (new rescue arrows,danger triangles etc. and some stenciling)
    All decals are my work exept tail template for RVAH-5 (NE and red arrow on tailfin - this comes form original Julhelm pack)
    As always I was trying to put reference photos of real aircrafts. It is inside of each skin folder.
     
    RVAH-6 green camo is my "repaint" of original skin thanks to Julhelms templates.
     
    Unit badges are painted on skin. But there are also disabled decal.tga included in decals folder.

    EXTRAS.
     
    I made strobe pod for RA-5C. with experimental flash/strobe effect. Not satissfied full about but it is uploaded. It works as RP so you got only 64 strobe shots.
    Effect should be fixed so it will be just quick instant shot.
    I was thinkin about creating new proper 400gal fuel tanks for A-5/RA-5. But maybe next time.
     
    RA-5C tailcone. - Via fake pilot I've added tailcone. So no need to load/unload empty fuel pack. It will always apear on aircraft. I like it this way.
     
    Added Aircraft Data.ini file with correct lines for adding strobe pod and fake pilot tailcone.
    If you don't like it - do not use it.
    Fixed chaff/flare positions.

    This is a third party add on of the first LittleBird AH-6C using models and cockpits created by me.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
    I have just modified it a bit.

    Standard commands:
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to retract before shooting on hard weapons settings)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - Show/hide doors. If ever you will fly in cold enviroment and feel uncomfortable, you can fly with front doors instaled, It doesn't do anything. And will not help you. It's just for different look in winter.
     
    ANIMATION 1 - 'NVG'
     
    You can realy fly low and slow.
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    Fun is skiding between buildings in cities.
     
    Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more.
     
    Cockpits.
    Since photos of interior of this two early 160th SOAR birds are extremly rare and usualy low quality for now cockpits are just "guess" cockpits. Based on these low quality photos, some MD500D, Hughes 369D manuals, guessing.
     
    AH-6F.
    Based on MD500D series. 9 airframes aquired by 160thSOAR probably in 1984 since all airframes are build in 84. AH-6F still used old M27 subsytem with M134 minigun. And same mount as earlier AH-6C for 7 tube launcher.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct.
     
    Weapons.
    XM27 – M134 Minigun
    M260 7 tube rocket launcher. First years of operation with mk40 rockets and later Mk66 rockets.
     
    There is no gunsight for this helo. Acording to one of the pilots they were using "grease pencil mark on the windscreen, . And practicing shooting this way ". So here it is embeded to windshield. During night with 'nvg' it will glow a little.
     

    MH-6E.
    Special Forces insertion/extraction variant of MD369MD. Introduced in 1981. No weapons.
     
    Skins.
    All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct.
     
    Weapons:
     
    Here you can load experimental beta version of specops.
    Operator with M4 or M4/M203.
    You have to land select "weapon" and deploy them on the ground and get away.
    Remember this is beta. Lod model is "ehmm" and animations is just for try. I did not even finish skin. So do not expect fireworks.
     
    There is also two weaponstations to carry M27 subsystem and M260 launcher. It is not to be used on MH-6E !!!
    I added it here so player can pick AH-6C/F as wingman and have cover by wingman. Just fun in single mission.
     

    MH-6E participated in Urgent Fury with AH-6C. It was not used in inital attack but used later for extraction wounded 82nd Airborne members to USS Guam.

    This mod represents Late model of CH-53A already with instaled EAPS and early models oF CH-53D with uprated engines.
    A model never received aux fuel tanks and were used until 1992. At the end of service mostly by reserve units.
    D model /early/ was used also until around 1992.  Not every D model was upgraded so in this config they were flying until the 90s.

    CHANGES:
    I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files.
    YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS CH-53A and CH-53D_70. Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones.
    The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same you can be overwrite without fear...
    Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. 
    Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini.
    Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas.
    Some changes and rearrangement in the cockpit

    FAkePilot mod neede to run this mod. 
    As always.
    This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of the weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. 
    Standard commands:

    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed. 
    ANIMATION 1 - right side hatch and door.
    ANIMATION 2 - left hatch cabin windows
    ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside
    Parking animations.
    Two parking animations included one for 'on land base' and other for 'on board' parking.
    Im including two vessels moded as USMC nation.(same as in AH-1J pack) so you can practice start and land. 
    Those ships have moded catapults, deck and arresting cables in data.ini file. 
    Those ships are limited only to those used during Vietnam War on WestPac/SEA cruises.
    You can fold tail and rotor by enabling animation in data.ini  file. But it looks silly. And my intention for this animation was eye candy on board vessel.

    With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    With heavy cargo load probably you need little run on A model as engines on A are little underpowered.
    Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly more and more, wait and it will take off. 
    It is possible to land on board two included ships. don't forget about a hook.
     
    Cockpits.
    One cockpit based on NATOPS manual, an early model for both A and early D model.

    Both models are similar. The only difference is in engine power. D model is 'stronger' so it's easier with heavy loadouts. And only D can tow 'experimental' Mk105 minesweeper.

    Skins.
    All serial numbers are based on available photos, and USMC documents and are historically correct. 
    Weapons.
    The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner. Well, it is a quite defensive weapon.
    Ah.. there is Napalm barrel bombs. Used in Vietnam War. Inside _WingsOverVietnam_Only Addon Folder
    ...BOOM.
    Cargo loads.
    I am releasing this cargo load in current condition. So maybe some skins needs to be adjusted.
    Cargo loads include few cargo crates for cargo bay and hook, howitzer, MUTTs. Skins for MUTTS - Thank yo The Trooper.

    in 1973 USMC joined NAVY in operation End Sweep and equipped their D model (HMH-463 only) with minesweeping stuff. So here you can "tow" Mk105 minesweeper. It is just interim mk105. V.2 is under development.
    To see Mk105 open cargo bay.
    IMPORTANT - 
    Due to construction of this mod it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard, you may have some complications on airfield - especially with underslung cargo load. 
    Countermeasures.
    I've deleted Countermeasures from weapon loadout. 

    Skins.
    All serial numbers, as far as I know, are based on photos and US Army docs and are historically correct.
    CH-53A in Vietnam used by HMH-463 and HMH-361.
    In mid-80s A model was still in use by some units. One of the last unit to use CH-53A was HMH-772 until 1992 when they send A to AMARC.
    Also in mid-80s ( I believe it was in middle or late) US Navy composite squadron VC-1 was using old ex-marine CH-53A until 1992 when they send them to AMARC. I think they were using only these two aircrafts.
    CH-53D
    Few paintings fro different years,  early green early 80s green and tri-color mid-80s.
    HMH-361, HMH-362, HMH-461, HMH-461 - two schemes one - 78 from a trip to Japan and one 1973 during Operation End Sweep.

    Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots. 
    This mod still needs some work. Will be working on it.

    This is totaly new file. I highly recomend to backup your old files. OR just delete all old files. Even weapon folders. It is updated here.
    This is totaly new files and will not work in many parts with old.
     
    This model is based on previous J model with little modifications. Representing J International model exported to Iran. And J TOW International Cobra - modified J Cobra TOW capable aircraft. Only user of this model was also Iran and South Korea which used 8 aircrafts between 1978-2004.
     
    Pack includes 3 aircrafts as I made it specific for Iran and South Korea.
    Cockpits included.
     
    This addon works only with included WeaponPACK. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
     
    Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
    With some differenced compared to G model.
     
    AIRBRAKES - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
     
    ARRESTING HOOK - deploy arresting hook to land on aircraft carrier.
     
    LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed. Don't forget to fold before shooting.
     
    A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
     
    A2Ground mode - pilot M60 gunsight cross.
     
    ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
     
    ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
     
    ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
     
    ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
     

    For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
     
    When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
     
    There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
     

    All serial numbers are historicaly correct for each country.
     
    Nations.
    I've set nation name for Iran. In my instal Iran - Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. Same with J Tow model and plus SKorea- which is Republic of Korea Air Force.
    You might want to add new nation as It should be - Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation
    And Republic of Korea Army Aviation - ROKAA not ROKAF.
     
    But as always you can mod it your way.
     
    Skins:
    I've included skins for Iranian Army Aviation for both J and J TOW model representing early Imperial Iranian Army Aviation and post revolutionary Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation.
    Also South Korean Army Aviation is represented by early and late type of painting.
    During Iran-Iraq war Iranian army did some test with launching AGM-65 missiles. But reports says airframe sufers structural damage.
    Here I made possible to load Mavericks for Iranian AH-1J.
     
    Pilots:
    I am using usnpilots by OldDiego. Not included.
    Some pilots models might be too big for this helo.

    Copy all files into specific folders.

    For M197gatling sound copy the lines from SOUNDLIST ADDON to your soundlist ini file.

    This is a third party addon of SA.341 and SA.342 Gazelle helicopter.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters modified by me. I am not using airbrakes or flaps but flying fast and slow is stil possible, even hovering with little practice.

    This is highly modified SA-341 Gazelle by BPAo (TMF). Lucky, thanks to Crusader I had access to original max file. So I could work a little on this great helo. This is second part of my gazelles rebuild. It represents only export versions and Egyptian ABHCO build - Gazelle L and K.
    Few changes to previous French model. Most visible is higher skids and engine filter. And some changes in antenas.
    Generaly model is almost the same as old one. My work was to add some parts here and there (rwr,cable cutters, new athos, some internal parts, skids etc..). Rearanged animations and added new. Weapons/pylons are part of airframe. Ive added new rotor. Also I've rearanged UVW mapping. So basicaly skins are 70% new.

    Weapons included:
     
    NC621 20mm automatic canon. Two verson low and high RPM rate. Available only for Iraq and Egypt.
    By default in loadout.ini it is low-rpm always. Better do not give hi-rpm to wingman.
    Due to aircraft-data.ini / loadout.ini you can't add NC621 for other countries. As gunpod is part of airframe / lod file ONLY in Iraq and Egypt folder.
    HOT-1,2,3 missiles, known from French Gazelles pack.
     
    Also optional suppresed exhaust.
     

    Cocpits.
    All versions have dedicated cockpits. It is simplified and unified version of Gazelle cockpit.
    In every pit you can switch from pilot to co-pilot/weapon operator seat.
    On co pilot seat you have access to 1x "binocular" sight Athos/Viviane. By choosing radar on you will have "sniper" zoom. I dont know how many x zoom is that. It's zooming. And it is acurate somehow. With little practice you can even hit targets from 1-1.2 km.
    aiming crosshair is 'what if' since I never found the look of real one
     
    In HOT equipped version by selectiong HOT missile sight will lock on target as all HOT missiles are made as EOGR.
     
    Animations and standard commands:
     
    LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed.
     
    ANIMATION 1 - right side door.
    ANIMATION 2 - left side door.
    ANIMATION 3 - rear doors.
     
    Thereis also parking animation that works only when aircraft will be placed by game engine on airfiled as parked aircraft.
     
    Flying.
    As with all my previous helos flying is quite easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
    Normaly throtle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 55% wait little and then increase to 100% and helo will take off nicely. 341 version got little less power in engine.
     

    Versions and skins.
     
    Each helo in this pack is made for specific country. There are few differences in some lod files for each country. And somehow can be used for different mod instals.
     
    .Operation Desert Storm.
     
    - Kuwait Air Force in paint scheme from 90-91. During Iraq invasion and Operation Desert Storm. Only HOT and unarmed version here. All serial numbers and codes are historicaly correct.
     
    - Qatar Emiri Air Force. Only Hot and unarmed Gazelles in QEAF inventory. All serial numbers and codes are historicaly correct.
     
    .Wings Over Israel.
     
    - Syrian Arabic Air FOrce. Syria purchased only SA342L with HOT missiles. Firs 8 serial numbers are historicaly correct. Rest is random from L series numbers.
     
    - Egyptian Air Force. Egypt operated 44 HOT Gazelles and 30 with 20mm gun. All numbers are correct for 342L Series. But not historicaly correct for EAF. This is random numbers from ABHCO list.
     
    .Iran - Iraq War Mod.
    - Iraqi Air Force. Iraq purchased numbers of Gazelles in early 80s. Probably wired for 20mm gun and HOT missiles. I got only 2 serial numbers for Iraq firs two on the list. Got few more reference on IQAF but pics are very blurred. So rest of numbers are random,

     
    All decals are set to random.
    Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots.
    Im adding simply repaint of OldDiego's usn pilots
     
    Sounds - two additional sounds data entrys for 20mm cannon should be added to soundlist.ini.

    This is a third party addon of SA.341 Gazelle helicopter.
    The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters modified by me. I am not using airbrakes or flaps but flying fast and slow is stil possible, even hovering with little practice.
    It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. And will never work in SF1.

    This is highly modified SA-341 Gazelle by BPAo (TMF). Lucky, thanks to Crusader I had access to original max file. So I could work a little on this great helo.
    Generaly model is almost the same as old one. My work was to add some parts here and there (floaters, new sights, new pylon, some internal parts, skids etc..). Rearanged animations and added new. Weapons/pylons are part of airframe. Ive added new rotor. Also I've rearanged UVW mapping. So basicaly skins are 70% new.
    This is third part of my gazelles rebuild. It represents Westland built versions of - Gazelle B, C and D used by United Kingdom military units.
    Few changes to previous French model.
     

    This mod represents few versions of Gazelle used in United Kingdom military.
     
    HT.2 Training, liaison, transport helicopter used by Royal Navy
     
    HT.3 Training, liaison, transport helicopter used by Royal Air Force
     
    AH.1 Army Air Corps helicopter used as recon, liaison, light transport.
     
    While HT.2 and HT.3 are pure slick and clean helos. AH.1 version saw some combat.
    Thats why in this pack it is seperated in few parts.
    First is main AH.1 general helicopter used by Army Air Corps and Royal marines. This is unarmed version, here can be found in 3 versions -early, late with Ferranti AF532 observation sight and late version vith external recon pod.
     
    AH.1 as all british gazelles are unarmed helicopters used mainly for recon duties. However durin Operation Corporate some of Army Air Corps and Roya Marines helos were equipped with Matra six shot rocket pods (there were no aiming sight or anything like that instaled) Still due to reports it never saw combat use. Only training shooting.
     
     
     
    ******************IMPORTANT******************
     
    This addon works with my WeaponPACK (included in rar file). Most of pylons/launch rails are part of airframe. So in weapons folder you have to put only ini files. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course you can edit and use any other weapons availalbe.
     
    Weapons included:
     
    There is no weapons. It is only floaters, engine filter, suppresed exhaust and some other stuff that can be added to helo, just for look.
     
    Only offensive weapon added is in seperate folder for Operation Corporate. Matra LRF2 Rocket pods.
     
    NOTE.
    In AH.1 - 86 ver. you have acces to recon pod and search light. By loading search light you will have search light "beam" while light are one. But unfortunately light source will apear also when searchlight is not loaded. Anyway this is just experimental thing here.

    I was trying to put all real units with real codes/numbers for specific year. Not always easy.
    There is still some numbers missing.
    Skins are made for early and late paint used by Army Air Corps and Royal Marines.
     
    Inside there is seperate folder Called "Operation Corporate' and 'Operation Granby'
    Inside you will find whole helicopter pack needed to fly in specific instal for Falklands and Desert Storm mods.
     
     
     
     
     

    Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots.
    Two repainted versions of pilots are provided.
    Those are repaint of OldDiego's great usn pilots.
     
    Nation for this helo depends on version. There is Royal Navy (alos for Royal Marines) and RAF. Also new nation ARMY AIR CORPS is added in specific txt file. This should be added (by copy text from provided file) to nationlist.ini

    ANIMATION 1 - If needed you can activate old XM70 sight to aim hydra rockets. In fact MD500 defender was offered for sale also with M27 Minigun and XM70 sight.
    Here on Defender will apear when switching to AG mode. In TOW Defender gunsight by animation key 1.
     
    By pressing Arresting Hook activation key you can switch do TOW gunner.
     
    Like in previously realased loaches here also you can realy fly low and slow. This helo got little more power due to higher weight compared to old OH-6A
    I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
    Important here is to control ac using rudder and vector thrust control.
     
    Pack comes with two versions of Defender. First is basic recon version. Second is aircraft equipped with TOW missile system.
     
    Skins are generic for Republic of Korea Army Aviation.
    All numbers as far as I know are are historicaly correct and are based on available photos. Just few numbers, but can be updated later.
     
    Weapons.
    TOWs - BGM-71 A/B/C/D.
    M260 7-tube rocket launcher with several different warheads.
    M27 minigun subsytem
