Thank you for the wonderful work!
But it seems to me, the DATA.ini needs small changes. Here is a corrected option for more correct operation of elevators and elevons (by analogy with your F-102A). Also fixed the position of the wing vortex emitters.
Good luck.

Why sell a pig in a poke? Why not write in more detail what exactly is in the package?

Soko_G4.lod and Soko_G4_001.LODAre you sure? In fact, the Download is a complete plane (excluding the Сockpit) and includes both LODs you named.
If the Plane is not in the game, it means that you do not have a Cockpit of A-4 Skyhawk (since Super Galeb doesn't have its own specially made cockpit,a stock cockpit by TW is used). But you can use any other cockpit. Like here, for example:

Indeed! There is one mod here, which in the archive weighs as much as 2 GB - especially for real geeks and poopsockings!
If I were given power on this portal, I would officially limit the weight of the mods that are laid out here to 100 MB. Or I would order to divide a large downloads into several smaller parts (by the way, some modders do this on their own).

File Size 975.43 MB
Guys, don't you think that this is already a clear overkill?

Note: in the Decals.ini you must specify the value
Position = -4.96, 0.8
so that letter N and serial number are in the middle of the white stripe on the rudder.

A wonderful skin, although not quite historically accurate. The aircraft should have blue (actually, gray-turquoise or "blue horizon", "field blue" color ) stripes along the edges of the wings and stabilizer, fuselage edges , the same color of the landing gear struts, Center-section struts and (presumably, not rigidly! ) - inter-wing struts.
(However, the model itself also has some differences from the prototype. The most noticeable is that the elevator wiring runs above the horizontal stabilizer. In reality, the wires passed through the stabilizer, in which there were special slots).

Great job as usual.
But you forgot to put the decals in Decals folder ;)

What's the point of this update?

I don’t think he will do it (everything has grown together for a long time)) Moreover, the only difference is that the FE2 game does not support "autochange" of textures.
But at least I now clearly understand the difference between your two packages ))
It was nice to talk to!

15 hours ago, trotski00 said:When you say it "weighs more" I dont get your meaning mate, please can you clarify that for me ? .
When I talk about "lighter weight", I mean that a 2048x2048 texture saved as a BMP will weigh 12 MB, while an JPEG texture of the same resolution is only 590 KB (!). Also, let's clarify which generation of the game are we talking about? If you are talking about FE of the 1stWave, then you don't even have to try - 1stGens understands only the BMP format. If about FE2, then it easily reproduces skins in the JPEG format, like any other game of the 2ndGens. But since FE2 has not been updated since July 2010, the game cannot convert formats automatically (that is, in SF2, it is enough to save skins for old models in the JPEG format, and the engine will do the rest). Therefore, you need to make changes to the model itself so that it refers to the JPEG textures, and not to the BMP. It's easy enough to do it with a HEX-Editor, and I know how to do it. With Stephen's permission, I could do this for you, but then the model will only be suitable for FE2, while Stephen makes his planes universally suitable for both generations of the game.
PS Perhaps this collision will prompt Stephen to change the model himself (if he sees the point in this). And at the same time, it will make some improvements to the model, which have already been mentioned ;)

Something I did not understand at all from the explanation...
So which of the two files should I download? If the "second" package differs from the "first" only in that it is sharpened 'purely for FE2', then why does it weigh more than the "first"?
On the contrary, JPEG textures for FE2 weigh less than BMP textures for FE1. Why do we need a 'second' package at all, if FE2 is insensitive to skin formats?

Nothing to do with the decals.ini
Insignia is painted on texture, not added via decal.
Of course. Therefore, I gave an image of the necessary identification mark and wrote that "You can also easily redraw the skin." Ten minutes of work in Photoshop is quite enough to apply any identifying mark on any skin (provided that you have a little skill in working with graphic editors).
However, this is no longer relevant, since the author has already made the necessary adjustments))

By the way, Hotfix itself does not work, it requires an appropriate patch.
However, this is no longer a problem. I found a couple of links on the net for updates to versions of March and June 2012.
https://ag.ru/games/strike-fighters-2/patches
Also, when you install one game updated to Mar 2012 (SF2NA in my case) to the Strike Fighters 2 main folder, all previously installed games will be updated to the Mar 2012 version.

Identification marks are not true. For unknown reasons, you depicted roundels on the tail instead of "tridents".
