There is currently not a release date, but yes the project is still being developed. Check out their forum right here on Combatace. They've been relatively active with progression pictures. 

I've already tried to adapt his contrails with no such luck. I've also attempted with his missile effects which I thought were more accurate than current SF2 effects IMHO.  

What happened to Lexx's Siberian Sky? Was that not transferable to SF2? Because he was able to create very convincing contrails that were visible at pretty impressive ranges. 

I've looked but cannot find, is there a thicker and longer contrail effect out there that lasts longer? I personally think they are a little under par at the moment. I have tried testing new contrail effects but have been unsuccessful. 

At this altitude the cold war is pretty cold. 

Getting high is great, but sometimes the comedowns are horrible.   

Please pardon me if I am seeming very unclear. But I want the external seat to be visible while in the cockpit. For instance so it looks like this

But even for my future reference how does one make the seat visible in the pit? Like for instance I know how someone adds a co-pilot like in the A-6, but I wish to add the seat. 

Oh well now I have to make myself more clear sorry! Haha I'm well aware of yaw angles as you can tell by my top picture I am looking back at an 180 degree angle. When I set open cockpit Ravenclaws Seat does not become visible within the pit. 

Pardon for my apparent ignorance Wrench. I shall try to be more clear. What I want is for Ravenclaw's Mk-7 external seat to be visible within the cockpit. While I do know there is hi-res repaints I want the feeling that there is the huge phantom around you, as many pilots describe it like having a huge beast behind you. I guess that I want to better blent external with internal. I hope I've become more clear.

I'm currently trying to update the Phantoms cockpits. With an emphasis on rear area of the pit. I've been unable to get the Mk-7 seat in the pit? I've tried many open cockpit=true settings but have been unsuccessful. Also I think it's been mention but how do you hide certain nodes such as canopy frame?

Ah, that's what I though, because if you change the avionics.ini with another aircrafts .ini the HUD size changes. 

How do I make the HUD larger? Editing text size does not work as the text goes out of the hud's area and disappears.

You may have to destroy a specific part of the bridge, I've noticed that when you select target view f4, it'll focus on one part of the bridge! 

Would it somehow be possible through SweetFX shaders? 

Conventional dive bombing works well, although this can be hazardous to your virtual health

this simple old idea could work IF I had a guy able to rewrite several shaders to include backface normals calculations for terrain and TOD files...

Stary this is simply amazing, utterly lost for words over the beauty of this! 

I was just thinking that what if you made the dirty exhaust effect transparent would it somewhat look like engine fumes? You could combine this with the normal exhaust effect to create a complete engine effect?
