falcon 4.0 allied force

I just purchased falcon 4.0 allied force,I have it running real well untill I'm done with a mission,then all I get is a black screen with end of mission music!!! I have downloaded the new patch,well, I don't know, if anyone has any ideas,let me know.

win98SE,512kram,128ddr geforce fx5200,dx9.0c,yes,I installed the 1.04 patch.

did it run before the patch ok?also have you updated your video and sound drivers lately?Sorry for all the questions but start with the really simple fixes...do you have any add-ons running(the hi res tiles?)

if you used the auto update then there was a problem with some downloads.heres the good news..it can be fixed..the bad news..you need to COMPLETELY uninstall and patch to 1.04 with the downloaded 1.04 exe. which you can get at the lead persuit downloads section.
