I have downloaded some new aircraft for WOV and I can only load the M122 Photoflash Bomb. They are Bombers and Fighters from the Korean war and WWII. The loadout.ini has weapon names but they dont show up. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

-Eric

B-17F_Loadout.ini, Example-

// B-17F ordnance Loadouts

// Station 1 = Bomb Bay up to 24

Loadout[01].WeaponType=1000lb_bomb

Loadout[01].Quantity=4

[Anti-Ship]

Loadout[01].WeaponType=500lb_bomb

Loadout[01].Quantity=8

Couple of questions for you swayne64.

1. Do you have all the patches? If not you can get them here

http://www.thirdwire.com/projects/wov/wov_patch.htm

2. Do you have the latest weapons pack? If not you can get it here

http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?download=1884

Actually you can get both the patches and the latest weapons pack here at combat ace.

Try this and if you still have problems shoot a post.

I think I know what the problem is

The problem is that WoV timeframe is restricted to certain years and the weapons have a timeframe out of that range. I think the bombs end of life is around 1950.

I have it set from 1914 to 2006 in the time frame.

And I also noticed that some of the default weapons are missing

when the new weapons pack is added.

That's odd.

What aircraft are only allowing the M122? There is a good chance I can fix that with weapons edits. A few of the aircraft default to the M122 for reasons that can't be fixed without editing the aircraft's files but they all should have other choices available as well...

Also, which default weapons are missing? I can fix that with the next update.

Thanks!

Have you done the mods to the nations.ini? Some of the weapon attachments require the mod nations.ini to work
